I know youre targetting kenya - which is more food secure - because that whole area of kenya - is semi arid and arid desert - with very few people. So if you check data - kenya is more food secure than many countries in Africa. https://foodsecurityindex.eiu.com/ AfriqueDuZuid:

Asante fought crap. One lone Brit soldier went to Asante Kingdom and threaten to sit on their golden stool - and they agreed to pay 76B dollars. That is why while South Africa gold helped transformed their country, Botswana diamond, Namibia the same, GHANA remain very poor, despite being endowed with lots of natural resources. British stayed in kenya for slightly over 50yrs. The Nandi fought them for 15yrs. The kikuyu fought them for 10yrs in 1950s. British started effectively running kenya in 1900 and by 1963 were out. Now Ghana - it appears was colonized for almost 400yrs - and become the slave market for Europeans. Just30: |
How many slaves from Yoruba were shipped to buy those clothes. Yoruba contributed the most slaves. And they did that in exchange of textile. obaaderemi: |
It has nothing to do with western world. In fact most of best schools are in Asia. It has everything to do setting the right exams and facing reality. Confronting reality is the first step to solving a problem. We can and have in the past normalized exams - where grades can change to create a normal curve - but we have refused to do that now - most countries in fact do this - and exam failure rates are the same. We have also moved away from rote learning assessment to analytical examination - as main the function of education is to develop critical thinking -not just be a conveyor belt for kids to go through. You cannot lie to yourself and solve a problem obaaderemi: |
Nutrition affect brain development btw 0-5yrs. After that the brain damage is impossible to reverse. Brain develops when humans are young. Ghana like many Africa countries have serious malnutrition causing mental retardation as brain development is arrested. AfriqueDuZuid: |
I live in france, work, in switzerland and so do my kids; nearly half of people in geneva; live in france border towns;ferney voltaire, ornex, gex, anne annemasse. Half the time I live in Nairobi. You should be more concerned with police swoops in your country to recover stolen goods. AfriqueDuZuid: |
Okay found it - mere 77,000 - majority from Vodafone - Ghana Fixed Broandband. https://nca.org.gh/assets/Industry-Information-Dec-2020.pdf There are three (3) Operators providing fixed data services in Ghana. They are Vodafone, AirtelTigo and MTN. As at the end of December 2020, the total number of fixed data subscriptions was 77,022 with Vodafone recording 62,284. AirtelTigo and MTN ended the month with 700 and 14,038 subscriptions respectively The total subscriptions for BWA stood at 42,192 as at the end of December 2020. Surfline recorded subscriptions of 40,462 whilst Telesol ended the month with a total of 1,730 subscriptions |
Forget about mobile broadband - we are talking fixed broadband user s. And don't just guess numbers. Fixed broadband - South Africa - 3M plus Kenya's fixed broadband - 0.6m Mobile broadband - 21 million. So forget about Mobile broadband - tell us about Fixed broadband especially fiber to home. Little research - MTN Ghana has it only in few estates of Accra. Just30: |
Nairobi upper class estates extend over a very large part of Nairobi; almost half starting from Garden estate in the north - and ending in Karen in the south; The Ghana estates would NOT be part of Nairobi upper class. Even on prices and rental criteria alone. They would be part of Nairobi middle class - and Nairobi metro. Ghana best estates would be level of Langata, South C, and such areas. popizaino: |
When did Ghana consume more fuel than Kenya? Kenya consume nearly 6B litres - and our fuel levy are higher than Ghana. You therefore cannot collect more levies than kenya. And our budget of course is now twice Ghana. Just30: |
Please kiddo! Airport hill is crap - I have seen it in drones views/ Nairobi has world class estates - Ndukwu - listen - 15:16. You guy say you cannot compare what he saw in Nairobi in entire Nigeria with kenya. Africa traveller - described Ghana real estate as a concrete jungle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH85eq7dhcg&t=644s Comparing ANY CRAP in west Africa to Nairobi real estate ![]() Karen featured in a survey by Knight Frank which sampled districts across the world whose location, infrastructure and vibe mean they are set to outperform the competition. Other areas ranked alongside Karen include Financial District (New York), Brentwood (Los Angeles), CBD (Cape Town), Bayswater (London), Palm Jumeirah (Dubai), and Forest District (Sydney) among others Just30: |
Marriage is something else - that you can debate - but LGBT+ is now part of human right. You cannot resist when you're aid dependant. Just like you paid 70B for your golden stool - you'll pay heavily. As for my sis - she has an anus you know. Just30: |
How many homes or household have fixed broadband in Ghana - and how many are fiber? That simple. Just30: |
Again no need to loop - we already established your road network is rickety - and not maintained. Kenya spend I bet 4-5 times what you do on road network. Kenya fuel levy - that is use to maintain roads - is nearly 1B dollars - and that is just for patching up roads. Just30: |
Where in the video did he make that stupid statement? Airport hills the best ? In West Africa? Just30: |
LGBT+ is now part of human rights. You will be forced to accept it. There is nothing you can do except deny Ghanians their right to sexual orintiation of their choice. Most of those who oppose LGBT+ are gays themselves. I bet you're gay Just30: |
https://www.speedtest.net/global-index Mobile - worse than somalia Fixed broadband - good. Most likely because fixed broadband probably exist in the office only. In terms of fixed broadband - South Africa has 2 million fiber to home - kenya follows with 0.6M fiber to home. Ghana - I doubt they even have fiber to home Just30: |
I think we have enough evidence showing kenya roads in quality and quantity are better than GHANA. Kenya road network is now 250,000kms. Yes the total paved road network is small - trending toward 25K, But most rural roads are well maintained murram roads. The County gov (like Nigeria states) spend their time periodically maintain murram roads to be all weathered. Just30: |
I think you're confusing Nairobi Metro (farm lands turning urban) with Nairobi. There is a lot of work needed here to pave all the inner roads Nairobi City itself - I'd say 95 percent of all roads are paved - except in slums. As for Nairobi upperclass - you opinion is of course nothing compared to KNIGHTFRANK - and many other buyers worldwide - who rank Nairobi upperclass WORD CLASS https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/bd/lifestyle/design-interiors/karen-makes-list-of-top-10-luxury-homes-globally--2208650 The lush suburb of Karen has been ranked in the top ten Luxury home hotspots in the ‘Wealth report 2018’ by Knight Frank. Karen, home to some of the high-flying figures in the country including playing host to official residence of Deputy President William Ruto, former prime minister Raila Odinga, former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka, a large expatriate population, as well as wealthy Kenyans being among high-end home owners, is ranked in the league of the global real estates giants like Potsdamer Straße, Kurfürstenstraße and Gleisdreieck in Berlin, Germany and Sant’Ambrogio in Milan, Italy. Just30: |
If you ask that vlogger - he can tell you Nairobi real estate is world class - accra best is just middle to lower middle class https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH85eq7dhcg&t=331s |
Small plot size. Too much cabro or walk ways - way too much like Nigeria - look like the only greenery is the hedge and outside. For godsake - please the driveway ONLY should be paved - and leave the rest with grass, trees and greenery. Positive -Generally it appears insecurity is not big problem - Nairobi houses have serious walls and security features. Would this measure up to Nairobi -of course not. Nairobi Metro - for most parts not. This for example is Rongai outside Nairobi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2ai6fsODaU&t=88s You cannot compare to Nairobi upper class residences - even rent alone would tell you - in Nairobi upper class start no less than 2500usd... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-2t6FqELxs popizaino: |
Primitive country led by madmen. Concentrate on using the mineral resources including oil and gold to lift your poverty stricken country out of it economic morass and leave bedroom affairs of citizens alone. Such kind of moves in 21st century is the quickest wave to isolate yourself internationally. Then every Ghanaian will be dreaming of moving to countries that not only allow people their sexual freedoms but recongised marriages of such nature. Pure bonobo in West African mini-zoo. And please there is absolutely nothing African in denying people their rights and liberties! Just30: |
I can show Mpabe - but I am showing you the best part of Abuja. I know you're scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Vlain: |
Mombasa and Nairobi have highways and inner roads - and are dealing with non-motorized transport - pavements - footpaths and walkways - bicycle. Nairobi's Non-Motorized Transport - section - is for example investing 15m dollars to fix footpaths, pavements and bicycle tracks. Once Nairobi has nailed the non-motorized transport - then it can match world-class cities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00ZNBdhupRU&t=11s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGFQzeKLV4Y Vlain: |
This one or you're talking about one in New York https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkBI-RGoUio Vlain: |
Not it's small part around Maitima and that mosque - otherwise this whole area has zero infrastructure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkBI-RGoUio Vlain: |
The highway was under construction; I am asking about inner or street roads all over that area. In kenya you're way beyond there - and nitpicking on the pavements, walkways, footpaths Vlain: |
You still haven't shown inner roads; You still don't get it. Highways are numbered routes, designed to carry more traffic, greater distances with more controlled access points (driveways or side streets). Highways are typically under jurisdiction of each state or federal gov in Nigeria. “Inner Roads” usually have more driveway access points per mile, don't cover as much distance, and are under local (city or county) jurisdiction. Please show me that inner roads around that whole area that were missing 4yrs ago have been built. Then we move to next - walkways, footpaths and bicycle lanes. City should look like this - major highways and then many inner roads Kuruptnigga:

Average rent in Kiambu (Nairobi Metro) in those houses is more than anywhere in Ghana. This ridge ways kiambu county - Nairobi metro - rent 500k (5,000usd) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTBjDdd8JY0 Just30: |
This just not Mpabe or the many slums. This is the freaking city center of Abuja. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkBI-RGoUio&t=46s theenchanter: |
I saw a video showing there are no roads - and video is dated 4yrs ago. Unless you have built the roads in the covid period; I can conclude there inner roads are lacking.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkBI-RGoUio&t=46s theenchanter: |
