We already substraced and it down to 2.5B dollars. Better than Nigeria. At least they haven't yet killed cocoa-like you did to Palm Oil obaaderemi: Ghanaian total export is 17bn$, almost ×3 of Kenya's. Subtract minerals from it. |

But here you want us to celebrate Nigerian diaspora - majority like Obama are half-nigerians. Ngugi of Kenya has missed literature Nobel very narrowly severally Here is Pidgin BBC news reporting the shock when he missed https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/world-50003804So Wole Soyinka is not big deal for us. obaaderemi: Obama's Nobel is for America not Kenya. Dude doesn't have Kenyan citizenship nor passport. We have two Nobel winners...1 in literature and another one by a Nigerian who was part of a group that won a Nobel in peace. You may look him up. |

Nigeria has more trouble with 9B dollars charge for a gas deal that never took off. You signed with N-gas future contract - take or pay - and this year - it's expected you'll pay 0.85B dollars - more than 4 times our SGR bill - for the GAS you won't get. And Buhari is not in joking mode. The way Nigeria is broke - don't dare Buhari - he will send Hausa army to rape your women and take his money. Just30: Ghana has both a state in Nigeria gas supply capacity
We will go ahead to increase our Gas demand from Nigeria as well as increase our gas production capacity.
The Kenyan economy is flat hence power consumption has remained flat for decades now
that is ho poor your country has become |

Cocoa 1.7 plus 05 cocoa paste and 0.3 from Cashwenuts. That is 2.5B dollars. What should I add. obaaderemi: Remove gold and petroleum from Ghana's exports and they still have more export in dollar value than Kenya. You should be ashamed of yourself. |

We have invested 8-10B dollars in electricity in about 5 yers and had the world's fastest electrification. I am not sure how you can fight poverty without electricity. We are reducing poverty - every decade - about 10M kenyans are escaping poverty - annual 1M kenyans are getting out poverty. But Ghana without dealing with macro-economics - you're wasting time. vaxx: You shouldn't be putting much more investment on energy particularly when yòu have not arrest hunger and poverty to bearable level. most of those Nairobi slums residence you are trying to connect to the national grid has no food on their table . they will prefer their daily meal rather than energy they can't afford .
Ghana was able to halve its poverty as the first In sub saharan Africa country before piloting energy capacity aggressively . now she has the concentration of solar power in Africa . with much more fund to financed under sea electricity which is more reliable than hydroelectric. |

GDP is an estimate. Guestimate. And Nigeria is cooked. Otherwise if Nigeria had 400-500B dollars your budget for 2020 - won't be 24B - while Kenya a country of 100B dollars is at 30B dollars. South Africa is 120B. GDP is not money in some bank. It's an estimate. It's a figure the Nigerian Stats office cooks. It can be anything they want. But fundamentals never change...like you total export is nearly OIL and nothing more. The same with gov revenues. If Oil was indeed 10% - then taxing the rest of the economy (90%) - at Nigeria VAT of 7% would BRING ALOT OF MONEY obaaderemi: Government revenue is different from GDP. Oil is 10% of our GDP. If government decides to seriously tax Nigerians like Kenya does, then oil will account for less than 50% of government revenue. |

Not true - according to WIPO - Kenya has always had twice your 200M zoogerian country. Despite your VAINGLORY - Nigerian is well known - for being nothing but crimianl apes. This you've earned thanks to 15-20M diaspora. Lets talk about aggregates and averages...not single individuals. obaaderemi: Aggregated data, we do better than you. We have more patents filed and granted than you. I've checked. Even without a Nobel in science. |

I know Kenya - and some of Ghana. Kenya power sector - the regulator is ERC Then power generators - big one is Kengen-70% owned by gov - and many independent power producers. Then transmission - Kentraco And the supplier - KPLC. And we have GDC - Geothermal Dev Authority - they are putting down serious investment - and we are world leader in Geothermal Energy vaxx: You may need to go study how your electricity works. you are such a poor ad hopeless country . despite ECG Ghana debt, she still have more asset that the liabilities she owned. Still make more portfit and revenue and yet she is not the only company. |

No problem but you committed to TAKE or Pay for the long while. So your own GAS is pretty useless unless you export it. This year - prepare for 1B dollar to pay Nigerians for excess capacity you won't get. vaxx: Dumb kid. what is wrong in buying Nigeria gas to augment Ghana existing capacity . USA does it so its Canada? ....In Ghana, light don't go off fool . |

Yes - we are interested in AGGREGATED DATA - not pictures of scientists or doctors - unless they have won maybe a NOBEL. Yes Wole Soyinka is good...and remain the ONLY NIgerian to win a nobel. obaaderemi: If you've got it you flaunt it like they say. You've got nothing. You just proved us right. No problem. We have Kengen. We have many IPPS. We have Ketraco (transmission). We have many private players. KPLC - is just a supplier. We are not RSA where Eskom is everything or Nigeria's former NEPA or well Ghana Volta thing. vaxx: The Kenya Power is one of the useless company in Kenya. it is working with negative capital. has more liabilities than assets . .....it is a loss making venture despite enjoying monopoly...thanks to their ministry of finance which has the largest share . |

Have you seen white people posting this nonsense? You have what nearly 20M nigeria diaspora - the majority are PROSTITUTES, DRUG DEALERS, CONMEN AND THUGS. And you're here celebrating a family with doctors. My friend in developed world where those Nigerians are based - everyone nearly has a good career - engineer, doctor, architect, scientist. So what is unique in Zoogeria is very normal in many families...because kids are lawyers, doctors, name it - and this so normal - like being Nigeria hawker. You have COMPLETELY soiled Africa and the black race. If it's not stupidity - it's crime. Most races think we are sub-human. The biggest contribution to that BAD IMAGE - NIGERIA. As if it's not enough to be stupid - you have to add crime. obaaderemi: Post what you have and stop crying. Nigeria has brought more pride to Africa than Kenya has with Kenya's dull people and the starvation. Obama is not Kenyan. Stop claiming what is not. |

obaaderemi: I think it's in our DNA to be smart. For example, look at this thread and see how the main opponents, the little Indians have been turned to angry impotent people with facts brought by Nigerians. Look at nairaland itself where the Kenyans now spend the most of their online time and internet data.
And you can see the brilliance cutting across from Southerners to Middle belters to even a few core Northerners.. Africa would not be regarded as near monkey if you were as smart and your slave imports would hold it high like Chinese and India diaspora.Youve soiled Africa name.It took a kenya obamato wipe some shame off it |

So basically, by law, FreeZones companies export 70% of their production whiles 30% supplies the Ghanaian economy. Meaning the manufacturing capacity of Ghana is larger than the entire export capacity of the Kenyan economy.
If am exporting gold and I get free zone license the better. What do you manufacturer? maybe export to Nigeria who cannot while their arse |

Kenya's population is bigger than Morocco's, how come your GDP is smaller? How comes oil contribute 90%of all gov revenues and exports.Gdp estimate are just estimate from Yemi Kale. They don't mean money in the bank.VW group sold 32 new cars in entire Nigeria |

Just30: Excess Electricity has no charge on the Ghanaian Government. Electricity demand increases by 34% yearly and by Next year, Ghana wont even have excess power and we will have to invest in more plants to create a reserve capacity.
Kenya does not have the money to invest in power infrastructure to lift Kenyans out of darkness That is what you should worry about, how will you be able to create excess capacity so that you dont run into the current power challenges your country have at the moment? Stop lying.Youre getting 1.4B dollars annual hit because effective demand for energy is not there..and I am not factoring covid. You signed very lopsided contract. With covid..we are talking maybe 2B excess capacity charge |

vaxx: MPr is just not forcibly included , Good amd balanced economics gives room for it not legislature like that kind of Kenya which was as a result of emotional rather than prudent management. At least despite your all wholesome MPR, your banks still don't have enough liquidity yo loan out nor your government has much to pay his contractor. MPR determine a lot of things including rate gov can borrow and rate your mother borrow.Kenyans borrow at 13% cheaper than Ghana gov. That tells you Kenyans sme or individual is more trustworthy than Ghana gov who borrow on mpr 14% plus some margins |

Just30: mpr has less of an impact on out fiscal space and clockwise the interest rate space because Ghanaians still get to produce at a highly competitive rate and go out there to outprice the competition hence why Ghana freeZones export alone has increased to 5 Billion dollars I guess you're issuing mineral companies free zones license |
