He fired the head of testing smiley smiley for releasing figures that showed a huge jump. Poor lady. if you think KaziKazi is crazy - wait until you meet Pombe. Now reports are they are thousands dying in Tanzania.
Shma:
Kenya will soon close the border.
Funny thing Is that there is no new covid case reported in that country
That should tell a lot about hidden figures.

That pombe magufuli is going to really mess TZ. Zambia has blocked their border with TZ.
Shma:
We have just tested 5 track drivers from Tanzanians positive.
That means, out of five Tanzanian, probability of one being positive is 99%
Baba had to step in to see what kind of alcohol pombe is using. grin

Obaboon you really took time to type nonsense. You see I don't need to read beyond the first nonsense your write.

You wrote kenya collected 14b in taxes.

https://www.the-star.co.ke/business/2019-08-05-kra-collection-up-but-misses-2018-target/

As of June last year - Kenya collected 1.58 trillion Kshs. That is nearly 16B dollars in ORDINARY taxes.

Next Obaboon - find out how much kenya collected in AID - these includes things like court fines, licensing fee,

And then sum them up - it should roughly be 20B dollars.

And here you're saying 60B dollar developing world economy can raise 20B dollars in revenues. Even South African cannot raise 30% of it's GDP as gov revenues

You have to be crazy.

Most countries at Kenya level of development (or well undevelopment) operates around 17-20% - and Kenya is just right there. If it collects 20B - it economy without checking is 100B.

Economies like South Africa - are doing around 25% plus - so if they collect 100B as gov revenues - you can say their GDP is 400B.

There are few economies that do 40-50% of GDP - and those are special cases in scandavians.

As I have severally schooled you - knowing a cooked economy is SO EASY. Nigeria is special case that even a baboon can know. You have to be an espcially retarded babbon to trust Yemi kale figures.

obaaderemi:
You can continue shouting insults till you are blue in the face, it won't save your ass from my cane. Obaboon was the same name the angry frustrated white racists called Obama- but he ignored their insolence and did his job. The same way I am going to keep ignoring your impotent insults to keep giving you free econs lessons. I know you are learning. grin

To start with, Kenya never collected $21bn revenue, your revenue is $14bn. Your economy is $60bn and your budgets are buoyed up by debts. How else did you become China's slave?

We cut our coat to our size. Budgets are not made based on gdp but revenue and loans like yours. We are not that careless.
And you
didn't grow from $12 to $100bn in just 16years. Almost 1000% growth!
You should be shot for believing such nonsense. grin
No, you import mostly oil and food, not capital goods. Your second biggest import is palm oil. grin You import maize, onions, eggs, etc.

Our rice production is highest in Africa! Anybody bringing rice into Benin to smuggle into Nigeria is risking his money and sanity.

We produce far more rice and maize than you do.
We produce and consume more fish per capita than you do.
We are africa's largest producer of eggs which we consume per capita than you.
We consume more cement per capita than you, though we have 200m people and you have just 50m. Shame on you!

We love our sorghum beer in West Africa. It's the beer for real men. Not the sissy beer you drink in Kenya. We even export some to UK.

Your people are starving. The images of living skeletons coming out of Kenya give Africa a bad name.

We can teach you how to reduce your trade deficits. We can teach you to own your economy. We can teach you to be Africa's largest economy. We can teach you how to build roads like we built some of your roads. grin
And I don't care if Dangote owns the whole of Nigeria. At least he is not an Indian like your richest men. wink

You can never fix your trade deficits by importing onions and eggs. grin Nigeria is already in Kenya owning banks and communication companies, and in your living rooms with our music and movies. You can only dream to have our kind of reach.

Check WFP - and see who is getting fed - Nigeria - the oil-rich country. The entire Nigeria East - 8m people.
obaaderemi:
You know, the Western world already believe Kenyans are starving. So they would continue to send all kinds of nonsensical food aids to Kenya even when such are at times ridiculous. And the worst part is that the lazy Kenyans continue to encourage them by posting photos of starving people.

still Ghana cement consumption is 3 times more than Kenyan's
while the per capital consumption is way above that of Kenya.

Same way this Chocolate consumption is 1.5kg above Kenyans consumption

Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:43pm On May 10, 2020
He is crazy. Took me a second to figure out. He takes installed capacity of the company processing cocoa beans to mean total chocolate consumption of Ghana - just because the said company had planned to sell some chocolate. Turns out the company is grinding the raw beans into powder and exporting to China. This is semi-processing for export. The hobbit made each Ghanian eat the powder and got Europe style chocolate consumption - not even South Africa can boast of such per capita consumption.
gallivant:
grin grin
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:37pm On May 10, 2020
Is this another electricity consumption lie where your chocolate consumption has grown by 400% in 2yrs.

Niche Cocoa - that you took the 60,000 metric tonnes and divided by every ghanian - is doing this with that cocoa.

We started exporting to China about three years ago, where we send mostly cake and powder with a growing demand," he said, adding the company currently exports about 40 percent of cocoa cake and powder to China.

Just30:
Before Ghana ramped up it Cocoa processing,
consumption was 0.5kg

That has since increased to 2kg as we speak

My friend like cement consumption saga, you look for one figure and run away with it - and refuse to accept facts.

Now you've picked data from a company that is processing cocoa beans into a cocoa paste and exporting them - and you want us to believe that is GHANA chocolate consumption.

When the same company is saying Ghana has about 0.5Kg per capita consumption.

What the hell is wrong with you and Vaxx. You're two bunch of morons liking each other posts like it reinforces anything.

“Ghana’s per capita chocolate consumption is estimated at just over 0.5kg per annum while Europe’s average is four times greater at more than 2kg. Our number is far too low, so a strategy to change this is needed,” he said.

I don't see poor Ghana on the list of chocolate consumers. It's a tragedy of immense scales. The implications are that you are only useful as labourers in the cocoa trade.

Europe does like 2Kg - so poor Ghana is indeed very poor even in cocoa

Ghana’s per capita chocolate consumption is estimated at just over 0.5kg per annum while Europe’s average is four times greater at more than 2kg. Our number is far too low, so a strategy to change this is needed,” he said.

Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 4:12pm On May 10, 2020
Obaboon, So you're saying a country of 60B - can collect 21B dollars annually in revenues - and have a budget of 30B dollars. That would put it far advanced than South Africa. COOKED GDP is easy to debunk...like Nigeria one. Imagine Nigeria have 200B billion plus budget and collecting 150B - and then RVP comes and says - IT COOKED grin grin grin.

I would be very crazy like you. A baboon. If Nigeria economy was not cooked you'd have budget at south africa level if not high 150B dollars. Not 24B dollars. How do you even manage to run your federal gov with that little money.

Kenya has managed to grow from 12B in 2003 to 100B as we speak - because we are getting many things right.

Yes we have always had trade deficit - mainly because we are importing mostly oil, capital goods and very little in food and etc.

Your rice import I keep telling you include what Benin and Cameroon smuggle.

Kenya we produce 30-40M bags of maize and 30-40M bags of wheat - we produce more sugar than Nigeria - we produce rice.

We produce barley. You produce zero modern goods and your country is westernizing.

What Nigeria do is hoe-powered agriculture producing yams, cassavas, arrow roots, and such useless food. The beer you enjoy is sorghum beer - very bad tasting beer.

So useless malnutrition is 35%.

In short - you cannot teach us anything - maybe you wait until Dangote owns your entire country and we can talk.

We will fix our trade deficit by exporting more to AFRICA - and we are trying to get to Nigeria.

obaaderemi:
Kenya never grew from $12bn to $100bn. That was you cooking your books. Your GDP is around $60bn. We have analyzed that ad nauseum here.

It doesn't matter whether you do your imports in dollars or not. The important thing is that it is silly to import maize and eggs and onions when your farmers are jobless.

Nigeria does not import its staples like rice, maize and tubers. We plant enough of those. We are not Kenya that imports onions and eggs. grin

We don't import pizza. The story goes that some rich kids once imported pizza from England and British Airway's delivered same day. It was all fun and show of class. You would be surprised that Nigeria exports Guinness beer to UK. grin

We are building the world's largest refinery to fix our petroleum products imports problems. What plans do you have in Kenya to fix yours?

And yes, I can lecture you on economics. I am far smarter than you are.It goes without saying. grin
You can continue to throw insults and names around. It's fine as long as you keep replying me so I can get the chance to hammer economics and world affairs stuff into your empty skull. tongue

And why is Kenya economy been growing at 6% for the last 17% genious? How did we manage to get 12B to 100B in those few years.

Kenya doesn't trade in dollars with regional countries. Maybe Somalia. Kenya's currency is acceptable - like gold standard - in the region.

We sometimes during the drought have small cereal deficit - but nothing like what you spend on wheat - which you plant zero - or rice - or etc.

The joke is you even import Pizza from Italy smiley

Heck you're a country that produce and import OIL. BACKWATER in all description of the word.

And you want to lecture us about economic - Obaboon from Zoogeria indeed.

obaaderemi:
Of course you use dollars! When you import maize from Ukraine and Mexico and vegetable oil from elsewhere, you need dollars. Even for regional trade in East Africa, you need dollars.

And when you import things like eggs and onions and maize, you leave your people unemployed and discouraged. That's basic truth. You are just arguing blindly and angrily like we have reduced you to these days. grin
When importers have free reign to dollars for imports, then be sure your balance of payment account would suffer and your debts would rise. Kenya should have learnt from Greece. Your economy is overheating. All that shines in Kenya has debts to thank and ignorant kids like you are already waking up to smell the coffee. You can lie all you like on nairaland, in real life things are different.
Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 2:01pm On May 10, 2020
Because Kenya economy has nearly doubled in 5yrs so we are importing more and more machines.
Just30:
will you shut up there

you import know machines

and that is why your export hasn't grown in the last 5 years and likewise how your import hasn't reduces over the last 5 years.

Countries who import machines have one of those things increasing or decreasing respectively.

Twisting and turning will not convert lies into truths. Paying 0.5B dollar for excess charge is the most stupid a african country can do. Now add 0.85B dollar excess gas charge.

My friend - your own ministry of finance - estimate you'll pay 12B dollars in 10yrs - excess charge - money flushed down.

Just30:
grin grin grin

you are really dumb

here our excess capacity requirement is 1500MW

because most of out thermal plants goes on maintenance around the same time.

Ghana is not like Kenya with a meagre power consumption.

we require more than 3000MW with our current electricity demand

By 2021, Ghana electricity consumption will be 4000MW
That is how fast our industrialisation policies are taking effect

China is the largest producer - produces about 2.8M mt compared to kenya 0.5M metric tonnes. But China consumes most of their tea. They export only 0.3M tonnes of tea.Kenya consumes 10% and we export 0.45M - and we are world leaders!

In December the China Tea Marketing Association estimated that China will export 330,000 metric tons of the 2.8 million tons of tea it produced in 2018. Chinese tea exports, mainly green, were valued at more than $1.5 billion in 2018, rising 10.41 percent year-on-year, according to the association

I told you clearly that excess capacity when you're consuming 2,700mw would be something like 300Mw. You'd be happy with 3000MW. But to have 2,000MW excess capacity is beyond crazy. That is why you're spending money enough to finance half Rwanda budget on excess capacity charge - just flushing money down the toilet.

Except im not talking about system losses

Im referring to loss of generation capacity because of maintenance grin

Secondly I'm referring to to the fastest energy demand growth in the whole of Africa.

Ghana has not paid for excess capacity since 2018

Kenya's lack of generation capacity and dilapidated power infrastructure is what is making Kenya power run into huge debt.

We only would be worried if we're importing using forex like USD but regional trade - we are fine. We have positive trade balance with most of the African countries. Let Uganda and Tanzania do maize, eggs and etc. And we will do high-value crops. The main reason Nigeria is very poor is that you don't do basics like regional trade. Now if our trade deficit is 10B - and half it is within Africa - we are fine - and you can come get dollars in Nairobi any day.

Of course, we want to export - but haven't even scratched the domestic market in many things - and then the regional market.

You don't climb a tree from the top.

As of now - no importer in Kenya has ever lacked dollars the last 30yrs.

obaaderemi:
Stop lying, you are not importing high end products but trash to fill your bellies with. Continue with your angry name calling and let me continue to hammer your bald head with facts. grin
Kenya is doing badly because of those trade deficits. You are doing 50- 50 trade within Africa on agricultural products while your own farmers and youths are jobless and Tanzanian and Ugandan farmers are smiling to the bank. How much more silly can you be? This is a familiar scenario in Kenya:
