1) Nobody is starving to death. Not at least in kenya. 2) This drought is biggest in forth years - it has not rained in four years - animals have died including many wild animals - no human has died in kenya. Kenya is large semi-arid and therefore susceptible to drought. That is just geographical happenstance. 3) Somali & Ogaden/Oromo in Ethiopia & Northern Kenya is Islamic - there is nothing unique about Fulani & Nigeria muslims. Except Nigeria gov complicity and inability to deal with Islam. How can they when 10 states already on Sharia law. 4) People affected by drought in Kenya - live in semi-arid & arid parts - they dont grow crops - they have cows, camels & goats. Even if it rain daily - they can never grow crop - because it's sandy rocky - there is no soil to support plants - except in few areas. 5) They live in large expansive areas - boreholes drie up - dams drie up - when rain stop for four years - everything dries up. 6) There is nothing kenya gov can do except send these people money & sometimes food aid. This kenya does. That is why nobody has died. There is drought authority - that send them mobile money almost every year - whenever rainfall fails. 7) Kenya has international and local media that covers even the death of a chicken....leave alone the daily slaughter of Nigerian farmers by Fulani herdersmen. obaaderemi: |
Drought is natural disaster affecting many people in many countries including Nigeria. The difference in Kenya - herders dont drive south and kill people. They wait for gov to provide them food and water. If they try - the security forces will teach them a lesson. So they wait it out - watch their cows, camels and goat die - but cannot drive south & kill farmers. That is big difference. Your Zoo has allowed Fulani and other folks battling drought to drive all the way from Mali/Chad/Niger to kill Nigerians almost for sport. That is not Islamic militarism - that is land expansion in modern era. That is Zoo - total lack of security. It's like whoever has gun - just drive his cows - graze over farmers crops - and shot them for sport. obaaderemi: |
Finally the Ghana president admit they have a problem. Ghana undergoing worst economic crisis - president The Ghana cedi has depreciated by over 50% this year and is listed as the world’s worst-performing currency against the US dollar. In Summary • The president said in a televised address to the nation on Sunday: "We are in crisis. I do not exaggerate when I say so. • I cannot find an example in history when so many malevolent forces have come together at the same time. |
I saw it my twitter roll saying the killings of 70 people in Benin state didnt make any news in Nigeria. theenchanter: |
It made news by not making news. The horn of Africa drought crisis has received international coverage. The daily killings in middle belt of Nigeria cant make even to Nigeria headline despite the numbers involved...100 dead...130 dead..70 dead..in one attack. As far as I know our drought has not killed folks - that is why it's not a famine. Once it kills people it become famine. obaaderemi: |
Operational versus feasibility/under construction. Kazikazi: |
IGpro1:slowpoke this happening almost every day..quick Google search.Your zoo is amazing.Kenya is a free country and farmers free to cultivate whatever they want...tea and flowers more profitable than corn and rice... which can be imported cheaply |
The zoo has huge window of opportunity to turn back the tide if they elect Peter Obi - otherwise Atiku is usual northern fool and Tinubu is washed up. |
Nothing make news in the zoo. 70 christians killed by Muslim fulani - didnt even make news in Nigeria. It appears the media is dead or censored. In kenya - media hunt for any news - 1 person killed makes news. https://www.jihadwatch.org/2022/10/nigeria-muslims-murder-more-than-70-christians-in-one-village-government-does-nothing

Absolutely. They have nice curvy beautiful women; they beat kenya there; but he is obsessed with skin color. kikuyu1: |
Back to simping. You remind me of Kenya coastal communities who spend their life simping along the coast looking for tourists to marry them. That must be what you Tanzania dream of. Find some tourist - simp around and hopefully make it in life - by getting married to white woman. Kenya coastal areas are generally microsm of Tanzania so it's making sense. Lazy low ambition self hating simps. Kazikazi: |
1) English is a global Language. Get used to it. Learn it. Everyone is trying to learn it. Chinese, Malaysian, Japanese. All are learning it. Kiswahili is great for regional or national communication but out there or here in Nairaland - you need English. 2) Ordinary in English which you need to learn means common/typical/standard. You're good to go if you remove the word ordinary. Dont use Swahili to English translators . You need to learn English proper. It doesnt mean 3) Our SGR is miles ahead - Chinese came, worked with Kenyans, they are back in China and we are running our railway. You cannot compare something that is operationally - with something still under construction - with delayed timelines. Kazikazi: |
Shonas were 3,500 - but stateless. If Nigerians dont want to go home - they can as well apply to become Kenyans - and maybe they can be useful making music. 68816419: |
Nubians were recognised as the 43rd tribe of Kenya after the passage of the 2010 Constitution. They were first. Next Kenya Asian. Next Makonde who came to kenya as sisal farmers from Mozambique. Next Shona of Zimbwabwe. I am sure one day we will recognized the stateless refugees of Nigerian in Kenya - in Rosyambu as tribe - so they can get on with their lifes; it unlikely they will go back to Nigeria - considering the zoo lacks basic amenities. I just dont see how those Nigerians will ever go back - we deport them - they sneak back. Time to recognise Naija as kenya 47th Tribe. The can as well start contributing to the economy - not from the shadows. 68816419: |
1) Kenya official languages are Swahili & English & sign language. You can choose which one to use in parliament. You can use sign language if you want. 2) My problem is your obsession with showing white or brown or fair skinned folks as "ordinary Tanzanian" and never a Magufuli like person. That is serious self-hate and low self-esteem. Tanzania is an africa country with majority of it's people bantu black. Be proud of yourself 3) Technology and development moves in circles. One civilization is up for say 1,000 years before another civilization takes over. There was time Africa (at least Ancient Egypt/Sudan) was far ahead for like 5,000 years of the world. Chinese been ahead. Indians been ahead. European were ahead the last few years. There is nothing white or black or brown about tech - this is INCREMENTAL WORK since the human grew his brain. You're going to advance it forward a little - die - another human come - move it a notch eye. Again this another evidence of your self hate - you dont believe Africans can do complicated stuff. 4) We bring Chinese, Americans, even Nigerians, Tanzania if there are skills we lack. We dont have railway building skills - and we brought chinese - but asked them to train our own workers - that is why our deal including Railway Technical Schools - and everything that was required to make a successfully operation including trains & rolling stocks. You failed SGR project didnt think through everything - your deal just thought electrici - not even rolling stock was factored - now you're back to Korea to build trains. When it start running let us know. Kenyan one was built in 3yrs and has been running for 6 yrs now.Kazikazi: |
Kazikazi:Self hate with low IQ combined with bad education. You are beyond help.English is a global language..it's learnt by almost everyone as either first or 2nd language.Technology, science and all that it's not white..it human.. maths started in Egypt..your Tanzanians scientist contribute to science and technology in their small ways..all these eventually end up as technology of various types. What you're doing incessantly trying to show that Tanzania an African country ordinary citizens are fair skin except Magufuli is a serious sign of low self esteem and self hate.TZ ordinary people look like your hero the late Magufuli. Having less dark skin is not development or something to be proud of.Post buildings and human progress of TZ. |
Kazikazi:Your self hate is sickening |
samorobo:DEAL WITH YOUR SELF HATE AND STOP BLEACHING.Black is black to the other races.... |
QueenNyakim:Nubian are recognized so are Shona and makonde..formerly sudanese, Zimbabwe and Mozambique citizen.Kenya Asians including Arabs & Indians have been in Kenya longer than some African tribes... Arabs came to Kenya coast in 10th century.Kenya has chosen the path of progress and your Nigeria zoo is retrogressive. |
Keep up. I still dont understand why Ghana and Ivory coast cannot jointly ban the export of cocoa beans. Kenya tea is processed - but sold in bulk. Now gov is planning to ban the bulk sales - and force the industry to re-brand. Instead of these small cocoa factories producing mere 200k thousands - Cocoa board of Ghana - should be one going big into this. President Ruto said farmers stand to earn more if they embrace value addition instead of exporting raw commodities. "There is absolutely no reason why we are selling 95 per cent of our tea unprocessed in a space where we have a competitive advantage," he said during a consultative meeting with manufacturers in Nairobi. "It is not going to be possible and practical for us to continue to export 95 per cent of our tea unprocessed." Just40: |
Most of these bonobos unable to hold an intellectual debate resort to childish obustification, ad hominem, school yard pranks and plain old puerile juvenile irrational ranting whose import is more to derail the debate than to inform or enlighten anyone on anything. kikuyu1: |

Kenya Motor Vechile Assemblers about to take off. Importation of used trucks & buses have been banned and those locally assembled are tax free. Now kenya is going to assemble and build more new trucks & buses. Mercedes Benz Trucks assembled in Kenya NAIROBI KENYA, Oct 27 – Motor dealer DT Dobie has unveiled a Sh16 million locally assembled Mercedes Benz truck as demand for heavy vehicles rises. The introduction of Actros 3340 truck comes after the Government introduced a regulation restricting importation of second-hand trucks into the country. Under the 2022 Finance Act, which came into effect in July 2022, locally assembled vehicles are exempted from taxes unlike imported ones.

They should first respect the black ghanian slaves - almost 500yrs of disrespect. East Africa are not complaining. Show me Ghana here? Only The Gambia (because they spanish) made the list otherwise West Africans are unwelcomed almost everywhere. Here is kenya girl - telling us inflation in Ghana. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsI_2xbiOw8 We admit what is happening in Ghana is not unique. But should it be the Ghanaian Cedi that is rated the worst performing currency in the world? Should it be our economy that is rated junk? The IMF Africa director iterated that Ghana's economic woes are predominantly self inflicted. Before then, I had stated that exogenous factors constituted a mere 25% to the crisis we find ourselves in. The handlers of the economy have totally mismanaged it. Recklessly spending the fiscus even amidst clear signs of imminent collapse. I live in South Africa. Inflation is at 7%. Interest rate is only 8%. In fact, South Africa was the worst hit country when the corona virus pandemic struck. Over 100,000 people died of the pandemic. More curiously, South Africa's membership in the BRICS community makes it even more vulnerable to the current Russian/Ukranean conflict as Russia is South Africa's strongest ally in terms of diplomacy and trade. |
Outside Africa - being skinny is considered beautiful - while your fat arse is considered lazy bone coming to smooche their system. Nobody has the time to distinguish btw Ghana and Nigeria - they are same criminals. Just40: |
Identity of the unwanted and the unwelcomed. Even in African countries - you'll struggle if they know you're from the Zoo. And Ghana. Bad repuation. You'll cry in many airports as they subject you to cavity and orifice searches. Just40: |
Found this on twitter - reminded me the Nigeria/Ghana identity from madcow and obabaoon. ->Nigerian have criminalize face of black human to look like evidence of crime |
Any Tanzania who has been to kenya will instantly tell you we are FAR ahead. Next time visit kenya. Kazikazi: |
That is crazy. 11,000 foreigners? For one company. You really making India very rich. I dont think you understand local content - is for ownership. Employees - is something else. In kenya for a company to get 50 foreign work permit is something! Kenya total work permits - for entire country are less than 35,000 I bet. Do you even have work permits - or it's free for all The Immigration Department issued 7,332 new work permits to foreign nationals in 2021 from 5,851 issued in 2020, representing a 1,481 increase. This was the highest rise since 2017 when 2,515 new expat jobs were created to 8366 from the previous year.Work permits renewed increased marginally to 11,973 from 11,395 in 2020. Registration of foreign nationals increased by 29.8 percent to 24,713 in 2021. GeneralDae: |
Zero sum game. Why would you allow Nigerians to go work outside when there jobs inside. You need to fix work permit issuance and enforce them. This used to be a problem in kenya - but now getting work permit - is very difficult - you need to justify that you looked for Kenyans - and didnt find the skills. Does Nigeria lack the skills, so you ship a million indians? Is there evidence Dangote advertised for those jobs and found nobody qualified? or it just Indian manager advertise the jobs in Punjab - and bring his relatives to work in Nigeria? As for ownership - Kenya-Indian is kenyan - but if Indian or nigerian company come to kenya - unless they get waiver - they must find local partner with 30% shareholding. GeneralDae: |
