Whatever the case- the long unhappy relationship - should be ended - and Biafra allowed to secede. kikuyu1: |
Tom Mboya burial - seen as natural heir of Jomo - killed in cold blood as Jomo Kenyatta health went south. Tom Mboya if he had risen to become PORK would definitely have made kenya a bigger success story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7bO3JcZFEw |
LOL. You killed it. gallivant: |
Maybe I am wrong. Azikwe I know was in the failed Biafra war.He definitely cannot wash Tom Mboya shoes. In Africa only Nelson Mandela is top. Not because Mandela is more intelligent but because he suffered for 27yrs and still managed to deliver South Africa - only to be messed up by Thabo Mbeki, Zuma and the current leadership. Again I encourage you to pay some attention and listen to one TOM MBOYA - arguably one of Africa best leaders- I'd would have said Jomo Kenyatta if I was looking for easy populism - but definitely Africa deserve Tom Mboyas. This is Mboya in 1950s - aged 20s!!!!!!!!!!!!! Self-educated African - very few Africans will achieve this clarity of mind - 60yrs later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zadMwZZ2BD8&t=125s theTranscriber: |
You dont know him because you're ignorant and proud of it. Azikwe is only recognized for his failed effort to free the Igbo from well known slavery of the Northern Nigeria. He is just an Army dude. Nkrumah started well - but like Nyerere - made way too many mistakes - Ghanian kicked him out and his entire elite. Nkrumah died in exile - and his country Ghana would suffer his mistake for 30yrs. Only the smartest of Africa recognise Tom Mboya. Tom Mboya was TERRIFIC and by 20s was being elected in Lagos to head Africa. Tom Mboya with his charisma and oratory skills CHOOSE never to take the easy path to populism He said the truth - the unpopular truth. Tom Mboya is a legend for those that know him. I first read Mboya biography in 1990s in university and 30yrs I remain as enamored as I was then. Africa need Mboyas. Of all black leaders - I'd say only former US President Obama Jnr and Tom Mboya makes the white man recognize African can have top brains Listen to this audio interview. This Pres Obama kind of IQ. This make the white man turn all colour of rainbow - as they dont expect an African to have such a nimble mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zadMwZZ2BD8&t=125s theTranscriber: |
Of course - he is part of 10 smartest political leaders of Africa. Smartest people - well likes of Einstein makes it a very competitive list - outside politics. But in Africa Politics - definitely I see no reason why I wont consider Tom Mboya one of rare Africa leaders. Most people consider idiots like Thomas Sankara or Lumumba or even Nkurumah who send Ghana to 30 yrs of bankruptcy and military- highly. I consider Mboya, Mandela, Meles ...as special African leaders. theTranscriber: |
Once again the West African see the clothing; doesnt see anything else. I was hoping you'd recognize Mboya brains were above africans level even now. This was somone who in 20s could sit and argue with one of American Iconic president John F Kennedy. Iconic leader like Martin Luther King. Mboya visit US to set up Africa wide Anti-Colonial Fund. Warning - video has no clothing - dont sell you bro or sis for a piece of cloth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zadMwZZ2BD8&t=125s theTranscriber: |
That is what Tom Mboya liked wearing - unless he was official duty. Tom Mboya was pan-Africanist but he had no kind words for Ankara - or huts - that people were calling Africa wear or culture - while they were simply symbol of poverty. The dutch or Ankara or the Hongkong prints were not African and could not be use to define or caricature Africans. Tom Mboya by 20s had achieved incredible feats - his intelligence, charisma and oratory skills - had people in awe. Yet he had been born into poverty and had gone to school late - and had studied almost single handily by correspondence. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMUJudaBVHg https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/08/Tom_Mboya_Monument.jpg theTranscriber: |
Tom Mboya is immortalized with stature where he was shot dead in 1969 - aged 39yrs - having accomplished incredible feats from his 20s. The street was renamed Tom Mboya street. Working with John F kennedy and Martin Luther King - he would ship 800 mostly Kenyans - to IVY league universities in the US - including Prof Mathai - who won the Nobel peace prize - and Obama father - who'd late reward the US with 1st Black President - convinced that Africa would only develop by investing first and foremost in EDUCATION. Tom Mboya designed kenya flag and basically laid the foundation of kenya social and economic future - with Kibaki the future president - would design the Africa Socialism - sessional paper 10 - that would see Kenya grow at 7 percent from 60s through to 1980s - when IMF SAP kicked in. Africa socialisms was based on both capitalism and communism - but within Africa context - that recognized at it core that Africa was communal - it concentrated on cooperative socities and harambees (self help) - where people would pull together to contribute money or to build roads - Harambee became the national motto - and kenyans working together built schools, hospitals, name it - not with coercion like Nyerere of Tanzania or Nkumah of Ghana - but through Africa spirit of Ubuntu or strong community. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgNs6YJTKsQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-IUs0rjbm4

Tom Mboya on Katanga-Congo. It will take many years before Africa get such leaders. Not populist charlatans - but a leader with IQ as good as Mboya. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u9CRY569PQ Tom Mboya on Ubuntu/Africa Sociliasm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18J2w4rNG8g |
Name any index or indices out there - Kenya is coming out strongly in Africa - with Egypt, South Africa - and sometimes Nigeria. You can almost guess the top 4 - as Egypt, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria. This despite Kenya being the non-mineral and 89 percent ARID. What stand out is our long held investment in HCI - our education standards have no parralel in Africa except small islands like Mauritus. This is something we got right from get go in 1963 thanks to heros like Tom Mboya - who laid a solid foundation for kenya - that was going hammer to hammer to Asian Tiger - until 1980s - when we lost the plot - with Moi regime - and recovered in 2003. Sadly Tom Mboya was shot dead by corrupt kenyan elite who feared his brilliance and charisma - but his accomplishment at such young age - dying at 39yrs is impossible to match by many in Africa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kwim5-YhMX4 Shma2020: |
I saw one in youtube video from Nigeria real estate dude. Roan77: |
Dutch prints (Ankara) are indigenous to Indonesia. Ghanian soldiers taken by dutch to help deal with revolt in Indonesia (East Indies) in 18th centuries brought them as gift to their wives and everyone loved them. Dutch then went into big business in Amsterdam making them...in exchange for Africa gold. Later as Netherlands moved the ladder - HongKong took over the fabric industry- and for long they were called HongKong prints. Now the Chinese, Bangladesh, Cambodias and Veitnam are shipping tonnes of African prints. African still cannot make their own dress...not that it's matters. vankelvin: |
Sorry the impression of Congolese I have seen in Nairobi and abroad are not of people who will fight for anything - they are just like west africans - pure savages - who just like dancing and making merry. They are the quintessional negro. They value useless things like grooming for an hour. I dont think such a weak mentality can fight for his freedom - Rwandese and others like Kenya - need to help them. Abohboy: |
They sold plots of land - millions of slaves and tonnes of gold - for a piece of Ankara dress - that now every Ghanian has been brainwashed to think it's their own clothing. Ankara (dutch print) is actually an Indonesian clothing. And it mostly grotesque. Abohboy: |
Are they sub-humans not to fight for their peace and freedom? Why cant they say enough is enough - why cant they revolt - and kill any intruder - they have a lot of forest to hide in - and engage in a long querilla warfare.Recently tiny Rwanda went all the way to Kinshasasa and installed a puppet gov. That is a tiny country of 10m people. DRC people have to stop joking, dancing dombololo ya solo, dressing like wannabe french gentlemen and fix their country. Nobody will come to fix your country - you gotta stop bleaching your skin, spending a fortune dressing and start with the basics. Abohboy: |
Who was exporting Ghanian Slaves to America? From 15th to 16th - the Portuguese run the Gold Coast - exporting slaves and gold. Seem even Dutch came - colonized Ghana. I bet even the Spanish too. Definitely the Dutch introduced the famous Ghana Kenke dress - the Dutch Print (aka African print) - take gold/slaves - for a piece of dutch print - that now Ghanian proclaim to be their own. Ohoo we Ghanian are very proud of our (DUTCH ) print/heritagehttps://i1.wp.com/thinkafrica.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/word-image-5.jpeg?resize=1024%2C765&ssl=1 Just40: |
It like DRC Kinshasasa is the only safe place. Who want to settle in the middle belt where kidnapping and mass religious killing are the order of the day. FIX security first. PROVERBZ: |
Ghana aka Gold Coast - has mined how many tonnes of gold - since the times when Mali Empire of Mansa Musa had colonized Ghana - in 13th centuries - to Portuguese - then the French - the British - and now Chinese gangs are on it. Is there any logically explanation to explain why a country that has mined GOLD(MONEY) for 7th centuries is so poor. Vlain: |
I started from Ghana - knowing you are intellectually lazy. Vlain: |
Not possible - even in a working country like Kenya. 68816419: |
That will compete in 2051. 68816419: |
The only people destroying Africa reputation are 1) Ghana - literally named Gold COAST since 18th century and yet still very poor. 2) Nigeria exporting millions of barrel of OIL daily and yet still very poor. OIL is a blessing everywhere except in Nigeria. 3) South Africa the Saudi Arabia of Minerals - and yet still very poor - and even poorer with self-rule. 4) DRC with trillions like Nigeria of potential minerals - and yet still very poor Kenya has since independence been the beacon of hope - an oasis of peace - that has thrived for long. The home of world class sportmen, Obama, innovations like MPESA and country thriving despite being almost arid and zero minerals. Kenya continues to proof all is not lost for the black race. Nobody can berate Ethiopians - they are poor, barren, no minerals but they try their best like Kenya. Explain to me how Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and DRC can be poor? How is that even possible? All the camel riding primitive desert tribes of middle east - used oil - to quickly transform - Africa countries with similar natural resources just stood there. Nigeria hasnt. Ghana cant. South Africa is going down. DRC is a butt of jokes. Vlain: |
Every Kenyan is a TRILINGUAL. There are few countries like that. We speak our mother tongue - and learn it in pre-primary to lower primary We learn English and Kiswahili until grade 12. Both English and Kiswahili are official languages. Any kenyan speak and understand both - except old village people for English. Just40: |
5 million Nigerians all over Ghana - doing informal business - like driving Taxis - is clear indicator that something is wrong. Let us not talk about Shaolin gangs invading farms and forest - minning for gold - with excavators and poisonings your water. Based on the evidence here - you guys are messed up. GOD BLESS Religious nutcases.Just40: |
Outside MTN - what has South Africa expanded into? Vodacom is Vodafone subsidiary. Safaricom is not. Safaricom has now expanded to Ethiopia. AfriqueDuZuid: |
Those are her words. My words from interrecting with you guys here. I agree with her entirely that Ghanaian standard of education is truly wanting. The kind of English prose we see from Ghanian is the worst I have seen - even with Tanzanians. And it's not you alone - it's everyone. Just40: |
Yes Manu is a legend - behind the simplicity - he runs a global conglomerate. He donates generously. There has never been a company outside kenya and dare say Africa which has achieved what Manu Chandaria has achieved. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfyO7QfuTEQ kikuyu1: |

Ghana - Here is another Kenya with 5 Bata shops - in few years. There was no Bata Shop. These Bata Shops are all over Kenya. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P32DX_pAtt4 |
No because like the 5m Nigerians before here - she found out - you are woosies that are easy to dominate. You're lazy, not aggressive, not educated and religious layabouts. Those are her words. Just40: |
