Health › Re: Nigerian Doctor Oluyemi Badero Named Top Cardiologist In US by Ryabcool(m): 10:54am On Mar 18, 2012 |
ZUBY77: I dont see the importance of this man and his cardio crap to nigerians. We celebrated dr ofodile and chukwuma who won similar awards in medics but up to now, they still live in US while we celebrate them here. Wow! Too many ediots around the corner. This man lives and works in new york, saving american lives while we die of cardiac arrests here and celebrate him with the little life we have left in us. so he should have stayed in a country that has 53% unemployment? because you would have given him the opportunity to become accomplished in Nigeria? Because he doesn't have his life to live and his choices to make? Because you gave a hoot about him while he was suffering n struggling with his books while he was in Ife, Nigeria? Leave the man to himself. He never needed your praises in the first place. He is already a made man. Face your life and become celebrated in ur country. |
Romance › Re: Come One, Come All! Nairaland's Broken Hearts by Ryabcool(m): 8:20am On Mar 18, 2012 |
naijasexy: Okay, I'm back. Warning: It might be a little long kind of like a story. NB: I'm not writing this in sadness or tears as this happened a little over a while ago and i'v had a couple of boyfriends since then (who are now ex's as well. ). The things women go through! *sigh*. Okay.. here goes..
It was the 15th of August 200* when I was to tour Paris, Belgium and London with a couple of my school mates and we were mad-excited. Excited because it was not again, one of those trips where we'd travel with our parents and siblings and be under 24 hours surveillance thereby ruining the fun. We were going ALONE and being the teenagers we were at the time, all that was on our mind was FUN. We were going to have a chaperon who'd guide our activities but she was just a funky mother who wanted to catch fun herself so.. no one really cared.
So I packed my bags that morning, my mum dropped me off at Murtala Mohammed, saw my class mates, took a couple of pictures and checked in with Qatar airways. I was about taking the last photograph when I learned that people from other high schools would be joining us just to make the experience more interesting. "this is going to be crazy!!! woo hoo!" That was the only thing on my mind then. We were duly introduced to the other students including this JB guy, everyone shook hands, smiled, made faces etc etc.. then we boarded.
We flew through blue skies and white opaque clouds for about 8 hours and had to make a transitional stop in Qatar. We roamed around in the airport familiarized ourselves with one another and trying to consciouusly have fun as we were not going to waste these two weeks of independence we had idling away. I met JB's parents who were asking questions such as "what school do you attend? how many countries have you been to ( )? etc etc. Well I answered them and they left me alone with their kids. That was when JB, his sister, his younger brother and I got talking. Well, talking about random stuffs that happen in our high school and stuff..
(would be back with the rest).. why do i feel like this story was concocted? |

However for a 'weirdo' like you i believe this explanation must be weird to your 'daft' & 'sick' mind Looking at your profile i strongly advise you seek psychiatric help very FAST. your family is daft tho. Just thought you should know |

Politics › Re: Tension In Alesa As Soldiers Kill Man by Ryabcool(m): 4:55am On Mar 10, 2012 |
mekaboy: HE WAS CONSIDERED A MEMBER OF BOKO HARAM, BECAUSE ITS ONLY BOKO HARAM PEOPLE THAT ATTACK SOLDIERS . mekaboy: IN NIGERIA NOW, SOLDIERS DONT TAKE CHANCES, AND THE MAN SHOULD BE IN THE MENTAL HOME, I GUESS HIS TIME WAS UP.
THIS IS A DEMONIC MANIFESTATION, WHY IS IT THAT WHEN SOMEONE IS MENTALLY DISTURBED IN NIGERIA, THEY BECOME VIOLENT, WHY CANT THE MENTALLY DISTURBED PERSON IN NIGERIA " FIND BUCKET AND WAS PEOPLES CAR FOR THEM? " WHY CANT A MENTALLY DISTURBED PERSON FIND BROOM AND CLEAN THE STREETS? MUST MENTAL IMBALANCE LEAD TO VIOLENCE ?
WELL, THE MAN WAS PROBABLY CONTROLLED BY DEMONS WHO FELT ITS TIME FOR THEM TO TOTALLY DESTROY HIM, HENCE MAKING HIM THROW A BOTTLE AT SOLDIERS. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, THE SOLDIERS RESPONSIBILITY IS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY OF CITIZEN.
IF YOU ASK THEM, THAT IS WHAT THEY DID, THIS MAN DESTROYS PEOPLE PROPERTY AND THEY FELT THAT THE ONLY WAY TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY WAS TO ELIMINATE THE DANGER.
WAT IF THIS MAN TAKES A KNIFE AND STABS SOMEBODY TO DEATH ONE DAY?
THIS IS A LESSON FOR NIGERIAN MAD MEN AND WOMEN ASSOCIATION (NMMWA), IF YOU WANT TO BE MAD, USE YOUR MADNESS FOR THE BENEFIT OF NIGERIA AND NOT AGAINST NIGERIA.
I DONT SUPPORT THE SOLDIERS KILLING HIM BUT, SINCE THE COMMUNITY PROTESTING NEGLECTED THE MANS CONDITION IN THE FIRST PLACE, IT MEANS THEY HAD NO VALUE FOR HIS LIFE. These posts are just senseless and mentally confusing even to the person who typed them. You have allowed your supersticious beliefs becloud your mental capabilities. You said "why can't a mad person in africa pick up brooms n assist the community". Now tell me, how many mentally unstable people abroad dyu know that sweep the roads? Please spare me that load of crap. Secondly, you proved your wide state of ignorance by saying "soldiers jobs are to ensure the safety and properties of the citizens", that is absolutely wrong. The soldiers duty is to "protect the country's sovereignty from internal and external threats". That ur lame definition is the job of the police not military. So any attack on the military is considered a direct attack on the nigerian country. Get that clear! Though i do not support the killing, i see no reason why i should blame the soldiers. And as for that boko haram post, Good Lord!!! Do you even think b4 you get on your computer and start typing? Please just shut up and let mature and sensible people post beneficial and intellectual opinions. Thank you! |
