About what u said Mira been a "WELSUMER" the key word there is 'seems' but she isn't. I did a few research from what u said and I could see some similarity, Mira looks like the breed but every other thing doesn't apply.

The WELSUMER breed are bred mainly for egg production, a wels can lay over 160+ eggs a year. Correct me if I'm wrong but over here in Nigeria I think they're referred to as Layers.

All the same tho, thanks for your input and I'm looking forward to ur IG Handle.

42. CHRYSOAR

CHRYSOAR was a son of the Gorgon Medusa who, together with his twin-brother Pegasus , was born from the bloody neck-stump of his beheaded mother.

Khrysaor was usually described as a giant but, at times envisaged as a winged-boar. The vase paintings of him rightly depicts such a creature on the shield of Khrysaor's son Geryon.

Khrysaor's name means "golden-blade" which could be a sword, tusks, or, as in the case Demeter's title Khrysaoros, a reference to golden blades of wheat.

41. CERBERUS

CERBERUS (I know a lot of people might be familiar with this one) is a creature often referred to as the hound of Hades, is a multi-headed dog that guards the gates of the Underworld to prevent the dead from leaving. He was the offspring of the monsters Echidna and Typhon, and was usually described as having three heads, a serpent for a tail, and snakes protruding from multiple parts of his body. Cerberus is primarily known for his capture by Heracles, one of Heracles' twelve labours.

But despite being so popular did you know Cerberus had several multi-headed relatives. His father was the multi snake-headed Typhon,and Cerberus was the brother of three other multi-headed monsters, the multi-snake-headed Lernaean Hydra; Orthrus, the two-headed dog who guarded the Cattle of Geryon; and the Chimera, who had three heads: that of a lion, a goat, and a snake.

Zoey came on her second heat at exactly 1yr 2months, went on a search for an experienced quality dog that is at least 2yrs old… then I got this beast named Hannibal in Ogun State, travelled about 90km+ to meet the handsome beast owned by Superline GSD.

DID YOU KNOW?!


That the MUSCOVY DUCK otherwise known as our "Local duck" is the only breed of duck with no true origin. It has been known to exhibit features of both ducks and Geese (that is neither a true duck/geese). Also though they're known to be native to Mexico and South America (only because they're a feral species over there) their real place of origin is also still unknown...

About introducing a Rooster I already did although for the past 4days now there's not bin peace, Mira & Cindy keep chasing the two Roosters, don't want to see them at all. I know it's cus they're new to the environment.

Anyways about popping an egg dat wouldn't b necessary, I knew from tym the only thing I've done is change their food, more of rice and millet now.

Mira layed about 7eggs and she has started covering them and acting protective over them.

Seems your hen is a WELSUMER (WELSUMER are a breed of chicken from Dutch,bred mainly for ornamental purposes... perhaps if you later decide to later create an IG handle,follow us on IG @ ryeo_animal_world if you would like to know more about the breed and other various types of chicken breeds)

40. GORGON

39. LADON

Ladon is the serpent-like dragon that twined and twisted around the tree in the Garden of the Hesperides and guarded the golden apples. He was killed with a bow and arrow by Heracles. The following day, Jason and the Argonauts passed by on their chthonic return journey from Colchis, hearing the lament of "shining" Aegle, one of the four Hesperides, and viewing the still-twitching Ladon.

Ladon has several proposed origins, each of which placed him at an archaic level in Greek myth: the offspring of "Ceto, joined in heated passion with Phorcys or of Typhon, who was himself serpent-like from the waist down, and Echidna. LADON is known as the Dragon which guarded the golden apples was the brother of the Nemean lion.

The giant horse (Equus giganteus) is an extinct species of horse which lived in North America starting in the Blancan, and died out about 12,000 years ago near the end of the Pleistocene around the same time as most of the other megafauna of the Americas. Standing up to 2.25 m (7 ft 5 in) tall at the shoulder and weighing 1200–1500 kg (2600- 3300 lb), this species was as large as or larger than most draft horses

I just read an article by a foreign author that says that Appleyard ducks are good Sitters and good mothers that even adopt other mothers ducklings but you need to isolate the broody duck from a group

So did you bother to think why there is need to separate the broody duck?!
When I say they’re not good brooders doesn’t mean they don’t go broody, you’ll understand better when you work with one.
It’s just like with Guinea fowls they also go broody but are not good brooders neither are they good mothers

6. DIREWOLF

The dire wolf is an extinct canine. It is one of the most famous prehistoric carnivores in North America, along with its extinct competitor Smilodon. The dire wolf lived in the Americas and eastern Asia during the Late Pleistocene and Early Holocene epochs (125,000–9,500 years ago). The species was named in 1858, four years after the first specimen had been found. Two subspecies are recognized: Aenocyon dirus guildayi and Aenocyon dirus dirus. The largest collection of its fossils has been obtained from the Rancho La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles.
The dire wolf was about the same size as the largest modern gray wolves (Canis lupus): the Yukon wolf and the northwestern wolf. A. d. guildayi weighed on average 60 kilograms (132 lb) and A. d. dirus was on average 68 kg (150 lb). Its skull and dentition matched those of C. lupus, but its teeth were larger with greater shearing ability, and its bite force at the canine tooth was stronger than any known Canis species. These characteristics are thought to be adaptations for preying on Late Pleistocene megaherbivores, and in North America, its prey is known to have included western horses, ground sloths, mastodons, ancient bison, and camels. Its extinction occurred during the Quaternary extinction event along with its main prey species. 5. TITANOBOA

Titanoboa is an extinct genus of very large snakes that lived in what is now La Guajira in northeastern Colombia. They could grow up to 12.8 m (42 ft) long and reach a weight of 1,135 kg (2,500 lb).
Fossils of Titanoboa have been found in the Cerrejón Formation, and date to around 58 to 60 million years ago. The giant snake lived during the Middle to Late Paleocene epoch,[3] a 10-million-year period immediately following the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event.The only known species is Titanoboa cerrejonensis, the largest snake ever discovered.Titanoboa inhabited the first recorded tropical forest in South America. It shared its ecosystem with large Crocodylomorpha and large turtles. The paleogeography of the Late Paleocene was a sheltered paralic (coastal) swamp area, sheltered by the emerging later Guajira hills in the west and the slowly rising present-day Serranía del Perijá in the east, with an open connection to the proto-Caribbean in the north.(imagine what it would be like if this giant was still around)

38. SERPOPARD

The serpopard is a mythical animal known from ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian art and stories. It is a portmanteau of "serpent" and "leopard", derived from the interpretation that the creature represents an animal with the body of a leopard and the long neck and head of a serpent. However, they have also been interpreted as "serpent-necked lions".
It is usually identified as a feline, and with close inspection resembles an unusually long-necked lioness. It bears the characteristic tuft of the species at the end of the tail, there are no spots, the round-eared head most closely resembles the lioness rather than a serpent, because serpents do not have ears, and there are no typical serpent features such as scales, tongue, or reptilian head shape. It is said to symbolize “chaos”

36. EACH UISGE

The Each-uisge is a water spirit in Scottish folklore.It usually takes the form of a horse, and is similar to the kelpie but far more vicious.The each-uisge, a supernatural water horse found in the Scottish Highlands, has been described as "perhaps the fiercest and most dangerous of all the water-horses".Often mistaken for the kelpie (which inhabits streams and rivers), the each-uisge lives in the sea, sea lochs, and fresh water lochs.The each-uisge is a shape-shifter, disguising itself as a fine horse, pony, a handsome man or an enormous bird such as a boobrie. If, while in horse form, a man mounts it, he is only safe as long as the each-uisge is ridden in the interior of land. However, the merest glimpse or smell of water means the beginning of the end for the rider, for the each-uisge's skin becomes adhesive and the creature immediately goes to the deepest part of the loch with its victim. After the victim has drowned, the each-uisge tears him apart and devours the entire body except for the liver, which floats to the surface.
