26. REDCAP The redcap (or powrie) is a type of malevolent, murderous goblin found in folklore. He is said to inhabit ruined castles along the Anglo-Scottish border, especially those that were the scenes of tyranny or wicked deeds and is known for soaking his cap in the blood of his victims. He is also known as Redcomb and Bloody Cap.Redcap is depicted as "a short, thickset old elf with long prominent teeth, skinny fingers armed with talons like eagles, large eyes of a fiery red colour, grisly hair streaming down his shoulders, iron boots, a pikestaff in his left hand, and a red cap on his head".When travellers take refuge in his lair, he flings huge stones at them and if he kills them, he soaks his cap in their blood, giving it a crimson hue. He is unaffected by human strength, but can be driven away by words of Scripture or by the brandishing of a crucifix, which cause him to utter a dismal yell and vanish in flames, leaving behind a large tooth.

He loves this space at the front of the car ,guards it like it’s his place (eyes rolling) little did he know that he’d soon outgrow it ![]() He doesn’t like taking pics yet he’s photogenic;that’s a short description of my Aslan Everybody loves him cos he’s handsome, that’s the first thing they say when they see him even at the vet one of the attendants went as far as taking his pics saying “he’s just too handsome” And there I was in my mind I would be like “well, let’s see if you will all still admire him when he grows all big and fierce like the big girls” ![]() Happy Saturday Happy weekend Aslan says “Hello”

HenryDion:Oh alright anyways sorry for your loss, it’s not easy to lose a beloved pet |
Lemme guess you allow her wander about without supervision?! Even outdoors too?! This is one of the biggest mistakes people make. A puppy is not meant to wander around without supervision at that age it can easily pick up anything |
Oh ok thanks ![]() |
Any ideas where a livestock farmer/breeder can get a good long term duration business loan (minimum of 500k) with little/no collateral ?! Don’t mind paying up to 50% of the amount borrowed as interest. Kindly quote me if you do (be it an individual or a money-lending company) Thanks in advance |
21/09/2021 Keep this here for me l, will ya?!

welzyj2:Exactly what my point is, that’s why I said it’s a long walk |
drednoir:Though I do not own one but I'd like to be part of the movement, I could contribute whatever little knowledge I have towards achieving the goal of the breed's standardization. At the end of the day my joy is for us to have an indegenous breed in Nigeria, something from Nigeria that will be respected and treasured worldwide It might be tough and rough to achieve this primarily because of the mindset that nothing goods comes out from this side of the world but then wouldn't it be an achievement for our country if we could also contribute something tangible in the world of k9s?!.....It's time we start to create than just keep accepting things that other people made (as much as I love foreign breeds) I'll also want to see Something from Nigeria attain great standards. |

25. OGRE An ogre (feminine: ogress) is a legendary monster usually depicted as a large, hideous, man-like being that eats ordinary human beings, especially infants and children.Ogres are often depicted as inhumanly large, tall, and having a disproportionately large head, abundant hair, unusually colored skin, a voracious appetite, and a strong body. Ogres are closely linked with giants and with human cannibals in mythology. The most popular ogre known to us in this part of the world is SHREK

Happy Sunday peepz Aslan has developed this habit of challenging the big girls it seems he wants to step up the hierarchy at such a young age Literally I’m the Alpha in this case, Mabel and Jade share the same rank as Beta as they do not give in to each other, Aslan seems to also want a peek at the top lol

I once mentioned it on a thread, it’s a good move to try and standardize the breed (presently they’re tagged as mutts/ekuke and some call them NSD). But the thing is,it’s not just about the name,it entails setting a standard for the breed (acceptable coat colors, size, acceptable behaviors and traits) all these put in place will go a long way in standardizing the breed because the ekuke isn’t even indigenous to us alone, they’re almost everywhere in the world (Asia,Europe e.t.c) but if we here set a standard for ours,it will be a perk for our country as a whole Presently most countries even South Africa has their own contribution to the world of dogs/k9 (boerboel/south African mastiff) but what exactly have we created If ekuke owners are ready to attain this feat, it’s gonna be a long walk “yes” it will require your zeal and commitment. |

Update Aslan’s perspective “Does anyone know where I can find animal rights contact?! Because I literally need to sue pops, how could he scold a 3months old (but let’s be frank though he didn’t really scold me ) but why would he scold me all because I tried to taste the nice looking green algae I came across this morning, ah that reminds me he actually let me out this morning to hang out with the big girls while he was busy working on the farm he’s into duck breeding and all you can check out his thread below, he’s got some nice ducks but to me they all seem like meat , I remember the day I was opportuned to chase some of em, pops wasn’t around and his parents do allow me to roam around the house cos I make them lol ,just when no one was watching I had my chance to sneak out of the house and the first thing i stumbled upon as I got outside were the ducks on free range https://www.nairaland.com/6307080/identifying-ducks-ryeofarms/2 Back to where I was, he actually kept me under restrictions but close to Mabel so we can have some bonding time (which I mostly turn into a fight cos she teases too much ) , I honestly thought he wasn’t looking all I wanted to do was investigate the greenish stuff just outside the gate, just when I was just trying to he caught me redhanded and I got the scolding of my life. He took me back inside which was quite lonely until he finished his work on the farm. Afterwards he noticed my countenance and tried the very trick that works on me all the time”Rough-housing” ok so my head was cleared and I forgave him of course I always do because I love him he knows how to basically read us(understand) but sometimes he could be so so rigid (eyes rolling)...Finally I’m now a pro when it comes to the SIT command trick so long a treat is involved One more thing,I really do not like pictures but pops keep taking photos of me , don’t you think I really need to sue this guy?! “ says AslanTRAINING TIPS FOR YOUR DOG -some people may not agree with this but the best time to train your dog and attain optimum results is just before he takes any meal.At this point you have all its attention -Try as much as possible to make use of treats, this increases his interest in whatever you’re teaching it cos it knows there will be a tasty reward (literally I do tell people that the way to a dog’s heart is through its mouth) ![]()

Benefits of ducks -As a source of meat Do you know?! That Duck meat is an excellent source of protein and protein keeps us healthy by building and repairing our muscles, skin and blood tissues. Duck meat is an excellent source of iron, providing 50% of the iron we need in a day. Iron helps make healthy blood that flows through our bodies, giving us energy and making us grow. It is considered red meat just like beef as there is little/no difference in terms of looks and taste -As a source of eggs Did you know that a duck (depending on the breed) is capable of laying up to 350 eggs per year compared to that of chickens around 250 per year. Duck eggs are a larger than large-sized chicken eggs. With a yoke twice bigger than that of a chicken. They're also an excellent source of protein, fat, and a wide range of vitamins and minerals. -As a pet/free range livestock They help to keep weeds and grasses in check. They are hardy (low mortality rate compared to chickens) and require less cost of maintenance compared to chickens and lots more other benefits So what are you still waiting for?!
