I have had a lot of people asking why this Amotekun has been giving the north sleepless nights. It shows how shallow many Nigerians understand Nigerian politics. In fact let me try to explain something to them. May be they will start understanding Nnamdi Kanu better.

The north contribute very little to Nigerian economic development and would wait for proceeds from Niger Delta oil in order to carry out developmental projects. This is the core cause of Nigerian civil war. Abuja, Kano and other major cities in the north was built solely from oil proceeds.

Suffice is to say that everywhere in the world, oil is not found in every nook and crannies of a country. So Nigeria is not an exception to that simple logic.

But the issue with Nigeria is that the north refuses justice to other parts of Nigeria. Years of military rule refuses tangible project in other parts of the country. And a military channel was put in place to make sure no resistance exists anywhere from Nigeria. This is why you see them colonizing every military and para military organizations. Same reason Obasanjo retired many top military officers of northern origin to wither their influence.

The north fears any resistance that can cause break up and deny them the free flow of Niger Delta oil. The issue is that their mentality of subjugation has caused them big problem managing Nigerian unity. Their notorious nature have even caused a big split within the north itself as many minority northerners have become wiser now. Look at statement from TY Danjuma.

The coming to power by Buhari has escalated this mentality. Fact is that the fear of such subjugations which was evident in Buharis pre election statements caused Igbos to be on the alert resulting to what seemed like a hatred from the Igbos. People like Nnamdi Kanu cashed on this animosity and gained a lot of followership.

The north is always afraid of Nigerian break up but has failed to make Nigeria a country for all.
Im sure America has this intelligence and with the growing hatred they have in the north, we may expect break up earlier than expected.

I would advice Igbos investing so much outside Igboland to think twice before such investments. The future of this country is gloomy and you cannot afford to lose most of your belongings yet again to other Nigerians.

Except divine intervention, the country may have serious issues sooner than expected.

Nigerians have every right to defend themselves against attacks and invation. Amotekun is a security force of the people. To crown it all up, it's not an ethnic or a religious security outfit like hisbah police. Therefore it's very legal as far as Nigeria's constitution is concerned.
But Hisbah islamic police in itself is illegal because it's a religious police set up by state govs to enforce Islamic law in some northern states. An outright violation of the constitution which expressly stated that ''Nigeria is a Secular state.'' As such no govt, federal, state or local is allowed to institude laws or establish religious organization within Nigeria. Therefore northern gov's declaration of sharia and creation of hisbah islamic police will forever be regarded as a VIOLATION OF NIGERIA's CONSTITUTION.
Since the constitution of Nigeria supercedes any law that is contrary or contradicts the constitution, sharia and hisbah police remain illegal in Nigeria.

One good thing about Amotekun is that only northern fulanis from Futajalon are against it. All the rest of Nigeria from Middle Belt, South East, South South and even parts of core north are in support of Amotekun. Thus fulani objection does not count. They are actually minorities that have outlive their usefulness. In fact, more than 60 percent of fulanis in this country are NOT NIGERIANS. THEY ARE ALIENS WHO CAME IN ILLEGALLY THROUGH NORTHERN BORDERS NO THANKS TO THEIR SATANIC FULANIZATION AGENDA.

And fulani terrorist murderers have not destroyed Nigeria already?

These sharia states have no problem building 1,000 mosques with public funds. After all islam is their official religion.
Is this what Nigeria's constitution stood for when it expressly stated that ''Nigeria is a secular state''? Is this what secularism is about? State govs unilaterally declaring their states Islamic states? Pathetic.
Those comparing Amotekun with Hisbah are themselves confused. Though they share similarities giving that they're both security organizations and creation of state govts, they're not exactly the same. While hisbah police is religious based organization, Amotekun is not. Amotekun was created principally for the protection of lives and properties.
Time Nigerians know that a country that contradict it's own laws will never stand.

Now I see why MURIC is spewing ridiculous allegations claiming Amotekun is a christian security outfit. Obviously their aim was to drag Amotekun to hisbah islamic police level under the banner of religion. Unfortuantely for them, Amotekun is not associated with any religion. If there should be a court trial between Amotekun and Hisbah islamic police, hishah will be the only organization that will be terminated.

The hisbah people looks very much like Terrorist.

Only a rotten country like Nigeria you will see war criminals like Gowon living like kings granting interviews. People like him should have been arrested, tried/prosecuted in the Hague and executed for crimes against humanity long ago.
The fact, that he's still walking free is a pointer to the fact that Nigeria as a country does not value human life. Nigeria is one of the few rotten countries where murderers are celebrated and rewarded.
It's for this reason no single fulani terrorist have been prosecuted for genocide across the country till date.

What's community policing without security outfits like Amotekun? Internal security as far as community policing is concerned falls exclusively under State and Local govt jurisdictions, not federal govt. This is what's obtained in civilized societies.
