This morning in Gombi Town, Adamawa state, Residents were shocked when motorcycle riding Gunmen stormed the Anguwan Faransa area and kidnapped one German principal.

The man, Mr Fisch is a principal of a Technical Skill Acquisition Centre in the town and was abruptly taken as he headed to work.

One resident of the Gombi town confided in Premium times reporters and said that Mr Fisch was a very important man in the little town.

The resident said: “The abductors laid siege on his house, and they came on motorcycles. As soon as the man came out and was about to get into his car, two persons on foot approached him and pointed a gun at him.

They now called the two sets on motorcycles who approached them and they carried him away on their motorcycle,” the witness said.

“Almost everybody in this town knows him because he helps us a lot, especially in the area of repairing the town’s water bore holes. Most of the time he uses his own money to buy equipment and repair our boreholes,” he added.

The source continued an said that the German man was training young men on technical and vocational skills free of charge.

When contacted the German embassy in FCT Abuja said it had no idea of these recent development.

They told journalists: “The Press officer is not yet in, but at this end we are not aware of something like that,”.

Meanwhile Adamawa State police spokesperson wasn’t available at the time of filing this report.

Adamawa is one of the states under the state of Emergency due to rampant Boko Haram attacks.

Tens of thousands of German football fans have given a hero’s welcome to the World Cup-winning team in Berlin.

The main celebrations were at the Brandenburg Gate, where players displayed the cup on a large stage while performing an impromptu dance.

Many had gathered since dawn to welcome the players who touched down from Brazil on Tuesday morning. Huge crowds lined their bus route into the capital.

It was the fourth German cup win and the first since reunification in 1990.

Berlin transformed
The team’s 1-0 victory over Argentina in Sunday’s final sparked delirious scenes across Germany. which are culminating in Tuesday’s celebrations in central Berlin.

The team arrived in an open-top bus emblazoned with the years they have won the competition – 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014.

The BBC’s Lucy Hockings in Berlin says there was a carnival atmosphere in the city, with thousands taking the day off to witness the spectacle even though Tuesday is not officially a holiday.

When Waynesville, Ohio photographer Sarah Walk got engaged to her now-husband Josh Walk, they knew that choosing a wedding photographer would be easy. What the couple didn’t anticipate was the photos from their June 16th Icelandic elopement going viral.

The couple had intended to get hitched in a traditional ceremony in their hometown but when the stress of wedding planning hit, they decided to elope in Reykjavík, Iceland (the location of their honeymoon), with Canadian photographer Gabe McClintock as their only guest. Yahoo Shine could not reach the couple for comment, however, Sarah told the wedding website Junebug Weddings, “We wanted something beautiful, timeless, relaxing, and a reflection of us and our relationship.”

The photos, which Sarah and Josh posted to Facebook the day after their wedding, have been shared hundreds of times and capture both Iceland’s beauty and a couple’s happiness on their big day.

The 24-year-old during an interview with ThisMorning revealed she has spent almost £20,000 (N5m) to look just like Kim Kardashian, splashing out on everything from boob jobs and bum padding to shoes and clothes.

“When I left school friends would tell me that I had a resemblance to Kim. So, I watched Keeping Up With the Kardashians and realised I had the same amount of siblings and that we have the same kind of arguments and things going on. I thought she was sobeautiful and I really wanted to be like her.”

Leeson has had a boob job, teeth whitening, hair extensions, nails, spray tans and has purchased a ton of shoes, clothes and makeup. And due to her lavish spending, Claire, who spends £4,500 on her hair extensions alone, has accumulated over £6,000 in serious debt.

But according to her, these drastic steps she has taken to appear more like the Kim, 33, are an attempt to gain self-confidence after being severely bullied in her childhood.
Claire continued:

“I’ve had my teeth whitened, then I wanted my boobs enhanced… and with pictures [of Kim] explained to my surgeon that I wanted to look like this. I also wear bum padding – it’s a silicone base. Pants with silicone inside. They feel very real… and hopefully will end up having that done because my bum is never going to be as big as Kim’s is.’

I do work but the job I do doesn’t pay as much… so it’s credit cards and debts up to my eyeballs. I’ve had [bailiff] letters, but I just ignore them and I say to myself that I will pay them – but as soon as money comes in I just think about getting my Kimmy on! And I’ll buy the new hair, make up or whatever…

I look at Kim so much and would love to be exactly like her because sometimes I feel like I’m not fully confident all the time within myself. My family are really worried, but they are so used to it now, but I know that I want to be happy.

I was badly, badly bullied over my looks and it took me ten years to realise that I wasn’t unattractive. I was so badly bullied that I didn’t want to be alive anymore.

At the moment, I feel like what I’m doing might not be right but I feel it’s what is best for me for the time being because when I get my Kimmy on I feel like I’m unstoppable and untouchable and I feel like no one can stop me and I can make something of myself.
