Car Talk / Re: Memories Of Your First Car by Sacarstic: 8:01am On Jul 05, 2012
Mine was a golf 3,the car almost gave me stroke, bought it at Berger Apapa year 2007 but due to inexperience i got a bad one. One problem today, tomorrow another problem etc. Always stopping on the road for one reason or another,i woke up one morning and decided to sell it off.

Family / Re: Can U Do This? With Pix by Sacarstic: 12:32pm On Jun 29, 2012
Absolutely there is nothing wrong if the man decides to help out whether the wife is painting the town red or blue or she is behind the scene performing other duties..The fact is someone must take responsibility for that child. @poster i don`t think that makes him a hardworking man, though,i am proud when Men decides to help out at home this way. Well,i can`t back my child because i am not going to feel comfortable but obviously the Dude is ok with it and the child is also not complaining from his/her looks.... One man`s meet as another man`s poison.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram On Yoruba Soil Is A Declaration Of War - OPC by Sacarstic: 1:35pm On Jun 24, 2012
It`s quite painful that the system have been so politicized for selfish gains by our unscrupulous leaders,i hope that someday we will have the courage to sit either peacefully or violently to determine how we want to remain in this country but i am very much aware and strongly believe that our problems is not in our diverse tribes(Yoruba,Igbo,Hausa,Ikwerre,or Tiv) but in the greed that lies in us.

spyder880:

Thank you payless for your points, bungalows are not like duplexes where you wait for setting before continuing. This process is straight and simple and all precautions were taken to make it safe.
There are more pictures but had to sleep while waiting the odd 15 mins to load one picture, network is so slow.

@Spyder880

It is just an indication of the rot in the system, what must be done must be done no matter the time frame.

Politics / Re: Abia State Gov. Orders Civil Servants To Return To Work by Sacarstic: 12:58pm On Jan 10, 2012
Whether Subsidy removal or no subsidy removal i don`t trust the Government and i will never trust the Government until Nigeria and Nigerians begin to reap the dividends of democracy and public and political holders are sentenced to 165yrs imprisonment for stealing public fund,I laugh at those who thinks it is stupid to go out there protest for a policy you think is not right for you, your family and people,it is the right of everyone to protest peacefully if you feel aggrieved. For me the success of this protest is not until the Government reverse it`s position but the collective "WILL" of the people to sit back to challenge a policy of the Government which they feel will bring more hardship to them.

Abia has been one of the worst state in infrastructural development since the inception of Democracy in Nigeria,i am not surprised by the decision of the Governor but it is left for the Abia people to decide how they want to be Governed.
Politics / Re: Stop Moaning... Petrol Is 326.21 Naira a litre in the UK! by Sacarstic: 8:23pm On Jan 02, 2012
@ i dont support the issue of subsidizing fuel, like the Minister of Finance said "You don`t subsidize consumption rather you subsidize production but you and i know that our problem in this country is corruption and the Government does not want to face this fact, they want the people who are already traumatized and impoverished  to pay for their inefficiency and inability to stamp out corruption because their friends and family members will surely be jailed. Let us wait and see, 3years from now they will do nothing but give us lame excuses because we  are too dumb to hold them accountable.

Politics / Re: Why President Goodluck Jonathan Is To Blame For The Insecurity In Nigeria by Sacarstic: 10:50pm On Dec 25, 2011
I never voted for Jonathan even though i am from the Niger Delta as i never voted for Buhari nor any other presidential candidate,i was convinced that non of them can move this nation forward, a thief cannot expose a thief except he has made up his mind to stop stealing and is willing to pay for his past deeds, GEJ and the sponsors of Boko Haram know what they are doing,i am only pained because they are using the lives of ordinary and helpless Nigerians to play their games. I weep for this nation, i weep for the helpless ones and i hope we will be bold enough to look at our leaders and tell them we have had a enough of this nonsense, they will never give up in the pursuit of their interest at the expense of the helpless, God will never come down to change the situation as i am convinced that he is not going to do anything because he is not there, we must stand up and fight for our emancipation, until then our talks, shouts, cries, prayers, vigils etc will not change anything, our leaders are murderers, they will never stop until they are wiped out.

Politics / Re: Post Debate Poll: Should Fuel Subsidy Be Removed? by Sacarstic: 6:15pm On Dec 22, 2011
All the enlightening speech  from the Government and Labour representatives were beautiful and i learnt so much from the debate,i could see the sincerity in the eyes and heart of the Govt. representatives (Ngozi,Sanusi & Alison),i know the removal of the subsidy will enable us to have much fund needed for the development of the state but i have always been against it`s removal because i am convinced in my heart that with the lackadaisical attitude of the government towards fighting corruption by bringing those who have brought us to this stage to Justice, removing the subsidy will not solve our problem, the revenue will still go into the pockets of the few at the expense of the common people who will bear the brunt of the subsidy removal. The meeting was an excellent one no doubt but i don`t see the PDP led Government fighting corruption which has remained and still remains the bane of our progress. My position remains "NO SUBSIDY REMOVAL" let the government open the sector for private sector participation so that our refineries can be built,if the Government has the will to confiscate and bring all the looted funds in overseas it will exceed the 1 trillion subsidy fund. How many broken promises?? I don`t trust the Government and i am convinced they will not deliver on any of their promises if the subsidy is removed, the same very few will continue to benefit from it.I foresee Nogozi throwing in the towel and running back to her IMF job very soon,TIME WILL TELL.

Religion / Re: Slaps Giving! By Bishop David Oyedepo by Sacarstic: 12:11am On Dec 18, 2011
@Omo pastor, please stop putting up this defense for the MOG, what he did to that poor girl was bad and it will be good you acknowledge that fact rather than twisting the truth to prove his action right. It is an abuse to slap  her that way,i understand the fact that her guardians(Not biological parents) must have brought her to the MOG for deliverance claiming she is a witch while their children are angels of God, This is just one of the reason why i strongly do not believe in the existence of God,of all the children who are been abused in the name of casting out witch craft by the MOG,i am yet to see parents (biological) who have brought their children to be ill treated the way that poor girl was treated. "The real axis of evil is Christianity, Judaism, and Islam and all other religions that are rooted in a belief of a supreme beign, religion is the main source of hatred in the world, violence, irrational, intolerant, allied to racism, tribalism, and bigotry, invested in ignorance and hostile to free inquiry, contemptuous of women and coercive toward children"".Christopher Hitchens.
Please get off the thread.
Religion / Re: Slaps Giving! By Bishop David Oyedepo by Sacarstic: 8:36pm On Dec 17, 2011
I know this pastors are all liars, my annoyance is with the stupid congregation that kept cheering him while he is abusing the poor little girl, i tell everyone that cares to listen  that god does not exist and if at all he does then he does not care about the affairs of humans any more, what a humiliation for that poor girl, all in the name of Christianity and boasting "Do you know who you are talking to"? Oyedepo  you are nobody but a mere mortal, Nonsense.

Though,my wife and i have always heard differences and at some points distrust for each other but i have always made her my next of kin because she remains the mother of our children, it is her business however she decides to use whatever i leave behind where there is no "WILL" but i am pretty sure those two kids will never forgive her if she should fail to do the right thing.
Travel / Re: Air Nigeria - My Experience - Please Advice by Sacarstic: 7:46pm On Nov 15, 2011
So bad, my girl friend was in Lagos on Friday to visit me via Arik airline and on Monday we left home early so she can catch first flight to get to Abuja before noon to resume work,i dropped her off at the airport and she called me few minutes later that she has bought a ticket to fly with Air Nigeria, 2 hours later she called me that they will not allow Air Nigeria to fly, there payment was refunded in full and she has to book for another airline, at the end she got to Abuja by 4.00pm,i just cannot imagine the bull000shit, Well i know i cannot use that airline neither a friend,Brother, sister or even a fellow traveler that i meet in the airport because i will discourage anyone that attempts to fly with them

Crime / Re: Have U Ever Been Robbed Before? by Sacarstic: 8:29pm On Nov 05, 2011
@ Poster sorry abt the horrible experience,i was robbed on Sunday 31st October 2011 at about 7.00pm, was in a supermarket and 4 guys with locally made guns, while 4 others were on bikes outside entered the supermarket and ordered everyone to lie face down,i was the first person they met as i was about to leave the place, i really thought of fighting back but when they brought out their guns i was humbled, they made away with my blackberry phone and a Nokia phone, my wallet containing my work ID,Driver`s license,National ID and other valuable items, my gold necklace, my wrist watch and the cash i had.
I am yet to get over it because i am always watching my back all the time feeling that someone is about to attack me.
It is quite painful but happy we are here telling our story, many never had this opportunity, they were robbed and their life was also cut short but we still have the privilege to make up whatever was taking from us,

Family / Re: My Wife Is Very Unappreciative by Sacarstic: 10:22pm On Nov 04, 2011
@ Poster,i understand what you are going through because i have gone thru one, In my case i had to call for a break, we both live separately without our kids right now,it was a very difficult decision but we had to given in to allow us ample time to think if we are really ready to live as husband and wife,i can assure you that the separation has afforded me the opportunity to take a critical look at our relationship and how i have handled issues as a man, i also believe that my wife wherever she is must be going through the same thing, we hope to meet after 1yr to talk and iron out our differences, you don`t need to slap your wife,it is not necessary, you only have to sit back and think " why is she been disrespectful, unappreciative and nags"? You earn respect, you dont force people to respect you,so be calm and stop blowing hot, Relax, may be take a break from the relationship. if you decide to take a break, please don`t try to cheat on her but see it as a period of reconciliation to unravel and understand your spouse and also what you should be doing but failed to do and what you did you were not suppose to do, Though, it`s been months we took a break,i learn every day, miss my kids but it was the best decision at that point in time when the center could no longer hold with heated arguments and quarrels each day.
