Corruption in Nigeria is endemic. It's everywhere in every facet of human endeavours in Nigeria. From the family, to the church to the governance. You need policies and strong will to enforce these policies. Practical enforcement that works, not lip services in order to deter people from corrupt practices.

By the way, you can never deal with the origin of corruption. Corruption will always be there. People will always find a way to engage in shady deals for self aggrandisement. You can only find ways to curb corruption. It's not for government alone. The family, society, church, et al have roles to play.

I dislike people who talk too much without understanding the issue at hand. How will he pay N50k minimum wage when the senate and reps are financial haemorrhage to the system? And prices of crude oil are crashing, which happen to be our major source of revenue. There's infratructural deficiency in the country, which a serious govt that has the interest of a progressive nation at heart must agressively pursue.

What does that tell you?

Well, I'm not a party supporter either. I believe in justice, fairness and democracy. APC keeps ranting that PDP destroyed the country for 16years. The way it is said, one could think PDP was an individual person.

A political party is simply an ideology, without people to enforce, would not stand. The same people that ran the show during those 16 years ate the ones at the helm of affairs in the APC.

Fighting selective corruption against perceived enemies is itself corruption. This was what Jonathan meant when he said stealing was not corruption. It's only a fraction of it.

In a nutshell, most Nigerians have a tendency towards corruption due to the nature of our society. So APC can quit the charade of 'pighting kwarupshun', and tackle head-on key issues affecting our economy that have been creating loopholes for corruption to thrive.
