Family › Re: Impending Child Custody Battle: Baby Mama Preventing Access To My Daughter by sacx: 2:42pm On Jan 27, 2019 |
faithfull18: Nobody said dating must lead to marriage, will you tell me the OP didn't know he wasn't going to marry her before making her a single mother?
I also blame the lady for opening her legs for a man who didn't pay her bride price. Situations like this will keep coming up if ladies don't start setting their priorities right.
You also expect her family to give him a pat on the back for a job well done too.
You are the one with no brain at all, let him go the legal way, the highest he will get is visitation time.
One doesn't have to be a feminist to see things and say it the way they are without sugarcoating it.
You should give the advice you would give the OP if the babymama in question was your sister. You are being judgemental here. He didn't have premarital sex with himself, did he? No, they both did. The deed has been done already. Now advise OP how to give his daughter fatherly love that she deserves even though he doesn't want to get married to her mum. And for the records, I don't support premarital sex either. |
Family › Re: Impending Child Custody Battle: Baby Mama Preventing Access To My Daughter by sacx: 2:32pm On Jan 27, 2019 |
Too many immature comments here. OP there is nothing much you can do. You may tow the line of Child Welfare as someone earlier suggested, but you won't win if you go to court. Just make sure you document every effort you are making to be a part of your child's life that was rebuffed. This will serve as evidence to your daughter in the future. Then sit back and watch how things unfold. You will be needed.
And finally, get a life! Don't put another woman through this mess again. Make sure you get married properly before you have kids. If this one comes around then, it's a bonus. You are simply lonely. |

bkool7: Whats ambiguous about right or wrong It's clear as crystal It goes beyond religion It's only in matters of legality that wrong is painted as being partially right
What's wrong is wrong There's a great deal of ambiguity if you are being sincere. Even in a closed Christian setting for example, some believe it's morally wrong for ladies to wear trousers, others don't. Our state is governed by laws, not by morality. |

bkool7: This is a matter of morality
Ononghe refusal to do what's morally right and by these Supreme Court Judges action they have also shown whose side they are on.
Whether Buhari is doing what the ppl want or not, the presidential election in February will put all that to rest It is moral for a man who murdered another to be killed (sentenced to death). But you as a civilian or even a military personnel have no right on your own to kill him. Nigeria is run by laws from the constitution and not by moral codes that are subject to change based on difference in personality or state of mind. Do you understand? |
Politics › Re: Onnoghen: Supreme Court Justices Shun Inauguration Of Elections Tribunal by sacx: 1:03am On Jan 27, 2019 |
theoldpretender: The sad thing about this case is ...well...twofold.
1.It is sad that the CJN has clearly commited a crime, yet has to be forced out of office...so that the Supreme Court is not messed up.
2.Also sad and unseemly that the Government in essence broke the law to prosecute the CJN. We saw how EFCC under Ribadu broke the law in their efforts to prosecute some poltical officers...which in some way ended up backfiring on the EFCC big time. No way how there won't be a backlash. The CJN is corrupt...let's follow due process in prosecuting him...even if it means nothing gets done.
3.This whole case shows that APC and PDP have no business runing Nigeria. APC stalwarts are busy defending illegalities. PDP stalwarts are defening the right of a crook to hide from prosecution behind legalese. Both sides are using the saga as a political weapon. And Nigerians are joining in the fight.
It's like I said....Nigerians are not really interested in fighting corruption. And sorry...but if we break up this country...all the new countries are going to be messed up places...yes, that includes Biafra, Oodua, Sharialand, etc....because Nigerians love corruption...and don't want to fight it.
Anyway, I keep on keeping on. Please, who declared the CJN corrupt? You did? |

airminem: Fact is that the majority of false rape accusations don't even name a suspect. And throwing this into the picture of the total of the numbers of rape really proves how rare false rape Convictions are. Vast majority of false rape accusers always accuse a non existent stranger who raped them and usually not someone specifically. Which means that beyond wasting time and resources majority of false rape accusations are harmless to the general public because no one person is accused
