Something that should have been done long ago... Not only at Airports but also all other public places and they are meant to enjoy free parking everywhere.. Veterans should be respected everywhere you go. I am not a military man and i dont know any military personnel but I think what is right is meant to be done right...

They are supposed to flush the military with incentives that will make all young guys engaging in tout activities sign up... there should be military career kiosks almost in every local govts where they recruit young guys that will be sent on peace keeping missions...

Most absurd recommendation I've seen. You want touts recruited as military personnel when it is a known fact that the military lacks the capacity to reform such individuals. They are already there anyway.

Whatever it is, once the PVC is printed by INEC, it should be at the collection center till the person comes for it.

I understand that. But given that this is Nigeria and records are hardly kept for long, he ought to have gone there when the window for registration was still open, so in case of any anomaly, he could reapply. Why wait till few weeks to election?

The Facebook poster's condescending tone on the wife is a pointer that he/she may have had some grievance towards the wife. Or else he just wants to vilify her for want of who to blame for the incident.

How do we know the husband was not aware when she took the photos and posted online? They may have been in it together.

That he was shot dead could have be due to stubbornness in releasing the money. Else this would have been a case of assassination.

We can't blame the dead and shouldn't heap all blames on the wife.

You've come a step further in reconciliation by taking responsibility and acknowledging you've done things to hurt her. At this point, you need to build trust because it's been broken. In doing this, you not only promise not to repeat such action again, but take a step further by addressing those issues behind your reactions, one of which is trust.

Due to your past experience, you find it difficult to trust ladies again, especially when you are romantically linked. To address this, I think you could consult with a qualified psychotherapist. Book a session, maybe during the weekends. With time you will heal. Divorce is a traumatising experience.

Also, on bringing private issues to the public space, I need not advise you further as you can attest to the fact that it does more harm than good. We learn everyday.

At this point, whether you two get back to each other would be up to you both. If you do break a truce, then I advise you spend time getting to know each other better; get to know your flaws; admit you are not perfect and can make mistakes in the future.Then turn these breaches around and let it build strength in your relationship.

There's nothing wrong in wanting to see someone you've been having an online relationship with. You did nothing wrong in wanting to see him. I even don't see anything wrong in asking for transport fare. What was important was timing.

In my opinion, you hastened to smoothen things up without having a better understand of who you are getting on with. Different people react to issues differently. Given that you are knowledgeable on the human psychology, I think the onus lied with you to know when to press and when to tarry.

Did you factor in what led to the crash of his last relationship? Could it have had a little to do with finance? Then you could have tread with caution on that subject. You get my point?

Count your losses. Forgive and let go. He is not wrong, neither are you. You both were just not right for each other at the moment.

I've read through many comments on this thread and have decoded some personalities. Based on the understanding of who you are, I think the Nwa girl moved too fast which made you suspicious. By your personality, you value rationality over emotionality. And also, being a sensitive person yourself, you saw the act as one that seeks to play on your emotions.

What you saw may or may not have been real, but your perception holds it valid. That's what matters to you.

My opinion on this is that you lower your expectations of people just a little, as they may not meet up to your standard a little. Also, I don't know for how long you've been divorced, but I think you're still hurting from your past failed relationship which has further heightened your suspicions.

I think you should take time to heal, and also give a little room to trust people; but that must not be at the expense of rationality. Lastly, you can shut the door on this thread and refrain from granting further public audience on this issue.
