Dog Lovers, Please I Need Advise On My Rott's Naughty Behavior

I have a one and a half year old Rottweiler named Gift and I don't understand him anymore. We can't chastise him again when he misbehaves because he bares his teeth and growls menacingly at us if we try to spank him for being naughty. He welcomes us when we come home like any loyal, loving pet, but yesterday he shocked me. Usually as we are about to enter the house he playfully holds one foot down so we can't enter, or he jumps on you and hugs you tight so you can't move. When I got back from work yesterday I was exhausted and I didn't have energy for his play so I hugged him briefly but as I entered the house I mistakenly stepped on his right hindpaw.

He howled, left me, and lunged at me, this time to bite me. He actually narrowly missed my arm.

I was mad. I turned and yelled "Gift are you mad?" He bared his fangs and barked at me. Me sef I bared my teeth at him and ordered him to stand down. He growled, me sef I growled back. Do you know this dog kept advancing menacingly at me and barking? I quickly borrowed myself brain and locked the door. Werey dog.

I can't shoo Matilda, my chicken in his presence. He covers her with his body and warns me away. And now, the most perplexing thing is he now marking every where in the compound. My sib came visiting and before he entered the house, he quickly relieved himself outside because he was very pressed. Do you know Gift went to where the dude urinated and peed on top? It has gotten so bad now that Gift entered the house and marked different sections of the corridor and smaller dining area with pee.

Now, I don't know if this is classic Rott behavior or if he is just being indisciplined. I confess we spoilt him a bit because he is such a sweet animal when he is not misbehaving.

How do we discipline a dog that has grown wings? He is well socialised so it's not a case of too much isolation.
Do away with that thing you called pet..Do it urgently.

CrimeRe-#justiceforseyiakinade: Seyi Akinade Commits Suicide Over SARS Ill-treatm by Sadsoulnow(op):
Some days ago it was reported here on nairaland how Seyi Akinade a forex trader committed suicide over SARS harassment..

https://www.nairaland.com/5809854/seyi-akinade-commits-suicide-over

It will never be well with this Sars men that have made life a living hell for genuine hustlers.. What's more baffling is why Nigeria government refused to do something about it....

R.I.P Seyi...

However, let it be clear that SARS is not the reason Seyi lost that 20k$..In one of his post before taking his life,he States that he had already placed a trade before the evil SARS men came,he was not able to check the trade till the next day,and at the end he lost about 20k..

Well,if you're a novice in this Field, you may not fully understand why I refused to blame SARS for the huge loss...

Let me explain...

In forex trading there is what we call STOPLOSS.It's one of the most important features every forex broker offers..This is how it works...... For example you want to place a trade like Seyi did, after you input the quantity of currency volume you want to buy you have the option of applying STOPLOSS before you place the trade....STOPLOSS indicates how much you want to lose in case the trade goes against you..

And even if you're not online, once the trade go against you to the level you want out,STOPLOSS will automatically take off the trade and leave your balance in your account.. But sadly many forex trader hate using this STOPLOSS. They don't want to lose any trade, they rather place the trade and let it run hoping it will comeback to positive even if it started out as negative...

This pattern of trading is the reason many trader are not having a fun time trading forex..Let's be honest, forex market does not pose any threat, but traders attitude is the reason many sees forex as a bad business...yes there is a real emotional rollercoaster because your physical money is involved.. But if you manage this emotional storms you're going to have a real fun time in this business...

The reason of this thread is to give a clear picture of how this business actually works....

Pls I am not against Seyi, neither am I supporting the evil SARS men,i just want to set the record straight..
I am not in Nigeria, so I don't train anyone on how to trade forex. How ever,I do encourage people to go into the business, with many free materials online you ca n become a good traders with time...Good luck to however wants to venture into it.

So anybody that dies now....It is Corona virus??....I am left stupefied by this level of herd stupidity and mass gullibility..What is going on??... Some people were even castigating Americans that were protesting this evil lockdown..Like seriously?.

End the stupid lockdown now!!....It is a ploy to turn you all to beggars and your will finally taken away while the elites continue to live large and consolidate their stranglehold on their slaves. (downtrodden Nigerians and the unfortunate ones all over the world).

"Until recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated the annual mortality burden of influenza to be 250 000 to 500 000 all-cause deaths globally; however, a 2017 study indicated a substantially higher mortality burden, at 290 000-650 000 influenza-associated deaths from respiratory causes alone, and a 2019 study estimated 99 000-200 000 deaths from lower respiratory tract infections directly caused by influenza."

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6815659/

So how many people have died from the so called corona virus that everywhere is now on lockdown?? Even stupidly so in Nigeria??

All of a sudden nobody is dying of Malaria, hiv, cancer, heart attack...And what have you..All death must now be covid 19!!

You are all been fooled and the media own by these evil elites will keep you being fooled and brainwashed!!

Here is an excerpt from a document published in 2010 by rockefeller foundation depicting this exact scene playing out now!!... And strangely the document has been deleted...

" In 2012, the pandemic that the world had been anticipating for years finally hit. Unlike 2009’s H1N1, this new influenza strain—originating from wild geese—was extremely virulent and deadly. Even the most pandemic-prepared nations were quickly overwhelmed when the virus streaked around the world, infecting nearly 20 percent of the global population and killing 8 million in just seven months, the majority of them healthy young adults.

The pandemic also had a deadly effect on economies: international mobility of both people and goods screeched to a halt, debilitating industries like tourism and breaking global supply chains. Even locally, normally bustling shops and office buildings sat empty for months, devoid of both employees and customers. "

" The pandemic blanketed the planet—though disproportionate numbers died in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central America, where the virus spread like wildfire in the absence of official containment protocols. But even in developed countries, containment was a challenge. The United States’s initial policy of “strongly discouraging” citizens from flying proved deadly in its leniency, accelerating the

spread of the virus not just within the U.S. but across borders. However, a few countries did fare better—China in particular. The Chinese government’s quick imposition and enforcement of mandatory quarantine for all citizens, as well as its instant and near-hermetic sealing off of all borders, saved millions of lives, stopping the spread of the virus far earlier than in other countries and enabling a swifter postpandemic recovery. "

" China’s government was not the only one that took extreme measures to protect its citizens from risk and exposure. During the pandemic, national leaders around the world flexed their authority and imposed airtight rules and restrictions, from the mandatory wearing of face masks to body-temperature checks at the entries to communal spaces like train stations and supermarkets.

Even after the pandemic faded, this more authoritarian control and oversight of citizens and their activities stuck and even intensified. In order to protect themselves from the spread of increasingly global problems—from pandemics and transnational terrorism to environmental crises and rising poverty—leaders around the world took a firmer grip on power. At first, the notion of a more controlled world gained wide acceptance and approval.

Citizens willingly gave up some of their sovereignty—and their privacy—to more paternalistic states in exchange for greater safety and stability. Citizens were more tolerant, and even eager, for top-down direction and oversight, and national leaders had more latitude to impose order in the ways they saw fit. In developed countries, this heightened oversight took many forms: biometric IDs for all citizens "

" By 2025, people seemed to be growing weary of so much top-down control and letting leaders and authorities make choices for them. Wherever national interests clashed with individual interests, there was conflict. Sporadic pushback became increasingly organized and coordinated, as disaffected youth and people who had seen their status and opportunities slip away—largely in developing countries—incited civil unrest. In 2026, protesters in Nigeria brought down the government, fed up with the entrenched cronyism and corruption." Can you imagine this??....Lol...They have it all planned for you......heeheeee

https://www.rockefellerfoundation.org/our-work/search/ (Here is the link from their website stating 404 error).

The other takes from this document is that it is high time we held our leaders accountable ( Hopefully it is not too late).. Because developed countries will become/has become extremely selfish and no immigrant will be allowed in.. No more money to throw around for the developing country...All man for himself....And from the look of things we might be there already.... The time to act is now!!.

To those still angling to go to Canada.. US..UK...and the likes....The hope is fading fast and even if you eventually smuggle your way in be ready to live a destitute life (Which many people there are already living but wont tell you)....A word is enough for the wise.....Nigerians Wake up oooo!!....I rest my case.
People are dying except you don't want to accept the obvious.. But why would you wait for somebody to die before you believe?

HealthRe: Use Of Face Mask: Who Should We Listen To (W.H.O Or Lagos State Govt)? by Sadsoulnow: 12:55pm On Apr 23, 2020
ThinkFreely:
Lagos state Government: Use of face mask will be made compulsory from next week.

W.H.O: face make should only be used by frontline health workers and sick people.

Who do we listen to? After consulting several health practitioners and experts, now let’s look at these arguments carefully.

It’s true that correct usage of face mask will give you a level of protection against the virus and that if everyone can use it correctly alongside constant washing of your hands, we can collectively win the battle. This is the argument of Lagos state government.

W.H.O argued that face masks should be reserved for frontline health workers and sick people because if everyone starts using them, the commodity will become scarce, prices will be hiked and in the end it might only be available for those who can afford it and this can affect the availability for health workers (it’s very important we protect them).
They also argued that the scarcity might force the production of substandard face masks (a standard face mask that should protect against the virus should be made with fluid resistant materials and a filtration effectiveness of 0.5microns). We are already seeing this as people have started making face masks in Aba without proper regulations and tailors have started making them with “Aso oke”.

Let’s look at both argument holistically.

Is it true that a “standard face mask” can protect you when used correctly combined regular hand washing? Yes

If everyone starts using face mask, demand will be higher than supply and it’s an economic law that price will increase. Is this sustainable? Well you can answer that by yourself.

Do we have the facilities to sustain the production of standard face masks? No

Using substandard face masks can give you false impression of protection? Yes

If face masks become scarce, are we risking the lives of our health workers? Yes

What is the sustainability of making face mask compulsory for everyone? Very slim, if we can’t sustain it then everything becomes futile and counterproductive.

Do we have a standard face mask production factory in Nigeria? From all I know “no”

Using face mask is good, it can be productive if the government can consider the holistic effect knowing fully well that it’s a a collective fight. Making face mask available for a few set of people and others don’t get access to it afterwards or forcing people to use disposable face mask beyond the stipulated period of usage because of scarcity is counterproductive. The government need to look for ways to make them available at all times. If the issues of scarcity, price hike and appropriate usage can be dealt with then we are good but if otherwise, compulsory usage of face masks might become counterproductive.

Know that, if you wear a standard face mask and every other person doesn’t then we can’t win it, you are still at risk. It’s a collective fight.
In my opinion I think the compulsory use of face mask will go a long way to help, whether substandard or not, because it will also stop the infected people from coughing on air, which is one way people can easily spread it..
