Xbabangida:

Enjoyed the game here in Dubai. Ne'er seen a penalty shootout performance as worse as oblak's. It was nothing but a show of poor dedication , lack of zeal and morale.
But when Oblak was catching all the goals since group stage to the final, he was dedicated. Or somebody quickly bribed him before the penalty shoot out.
My friend Oblak just showed that he's also a human. You can't be 100% complete. You be a good keeper on goal & during penalty. It can't be complete.
Do you know who Rogerio Ceni is?
Rogerio is a Brazilian goalkeeper that scores free kicks & penalties more than David Beckham. He's a wizard in saving penalties but he's a flop on goal.

Where has the man we think he is honest( Buhari) lead us to? Let me hear word Mr preacher. If your account is credited with 10m today, you nor go come hear to spill trash.
I m not making my honesty statement on political stance. Leave Buhari's poor or pass mark out of it.
and to your claim;
You lack the will to better the country & you v decided to join the wagon of those that keeps spoiling it. Just imagine everyone is like you, unwilling to fight dishonesty & we are all dishonest. Your kids ll sell you to fraudsters or ritualists. I hope you ll be happy with such an outcome. If you don't fight dishonesty & preach honesty, it ll hunt you or your generations. It's not a curse.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why 'Carrying Placards In Search Of Jobs' Is Wrong by Safemode(m): 7:22am On May 29, 2016
izken:
There are few cases of job seekers carrying placards lately at strategic spots and this has hit the media. A lady has even met with the vice president for doing this. Is this right? A few points would argue it.

1. Carrying placards in search for jobs undermines the progress made in job application process which has gone online and is quite efficient.

2. Jobs given could be regarded as out of pity and unprofessional as it might have been created to help the placarder otherwise it would be advertised.

3.Giving placarders jobs discredits the effort of hundreds of thousand of Nigerian graduates who have looked beyond the employment situation to be self employed and entrepreneurs.

4. Even if jobs given were advertised, there would be so many applicants who have taken out time to write application letters and applied through prescribed means. Why give it to someone who did not even search?

5. Considering the present employment situation in the country, young unemployed graduates could go on the streets with placards in search of jobs. They soon will form a body and cause unrest if left to go on unchecked.

What is the way out?

-The government of the day should regret the situation the labour market is in today.

-The government of the day should declare a state of emergency on employment and create jobs for graduates.

-When jobs are given through this means of carrying placards, it should be kept off the media so as not to encourage others to do the same.

Unresolved criminal activities tends to lead to reprisals as the victim or the family feels cheated thereby resulting to vengeance which in turn breeds another vengeance and d cycle goes on....

I hate it here I swear...

HirstMOG:

putting sentiment aside, the best time to have remove subsidy is 2012, do you know why? in 2012 the dollar was accessible, the economy was better, then there would have been more competition within the oil industry, because of personal responsibility for importation, some of the importers would have preferred to have private refineries built in the country by now, by so doing competition would have increased resulting in the reduction of pump price even below #80pl. this in turn would have created more job opportunities for our youths in the oil industry. 2016 was a wrong timing my brother.
you v a point.
but wat happened to our reserves?
wat of d jobs meant to be created wt d earnings without subsidy?
wat abt d Dasuki gate?
all these made the govt of 2012 untrustworthy

Politics / Re: Bakare: Why I Support Buhari On Deregulation And Opposed Jonathan by Safemode(m): 8:56am On May 23, 2016
tomakint:
The economic challenges of Nigeria under Jonathan then and Buhari now differs slightly why? Jonathan government went into massive projects that cut across aviation, roads, agriculture, education, power generation, electoral reforms, etc all these requires more money being injected into the economy but for the "hawks" in his government Nigeria would have been the better for it by now.

However, as a listening President, Jonathan having noticed the evil grips of the hawks in the oil sector decided to abort subsidy but what happened? He was shouted down and forced to rescind that decision while PMS was pegged down to N97 from the initial approve N112. Now Buhari is here now, agreed the global oil price that dictates the live of our economy had been on a downward trend and Nigeria is losing money to attend to many pressing challenges but a proper briefing, education of the populace would have been the best but what do we have now? A sudden N145 price for PMS from an N87 left by Jonathan in an already tensed economy.....yet nobody is protesting but rather defendingundecided Pastor Tunde, as much as I like you, I disagree totally with you on this.
Let's wait till 2019.

Politics / Re: Who Can Defeat Buhari In 2019? by Safemode(m): 6:54pm On May 22, 2016
Ontarget:
I guess its too early to talk about 2019. But if things continue like this then Buhari will be a very vulnerable incumbent president facibut I think the most ideal opposition candidate that will give APC a fatal defeat punch will be a Northerner who is a liberal Muslim, very educated, intelligent and articulate.
Southerners are attracted to educated, intelligent and eloquent people. Religion doesn't really matter when someone has these attributes, and being a liberal Muslim is a bonus. The northerners due to the mass illiteracy there are only enticed by tribal identity and religion. All they will want to hear is "Northerner" and "Muslim" and their votes are secured.
If the opposition comes up with a candidate with those combination of features I don't think APC will stand a chance even if they rig.
Ur conclusion is what I hate to hear.
its time to genuinely test the might of the whole south with south west against the north.
how can they be the only one producing most prwsidents in Nigeria.
zoning is still d best idea
