blink182: N120m to study in havard 2 times over or what?Don't mind the stuupid OP. N120m is the total annual fund (i.e. pot of money) which is distributed amongst several beneficiaries. The product of a failed education system now put it like if all is going to one person. Simple things to show someone has a threshold IQ, many Nigerians struggle with. |
shymexx: [s][/s]You are a person! You want to molest me with plagiarism? ![]() You carried and pasted a write-up of someone you googled on the internet verbatim and posted it as your own argument and you claim it is not plagiarism? Are you reetarded? ![]() You want to win debate by putting up other people's work? shymexx: Stop answering my questions with other questions - answer the darn questions that I asked you, you yokel! You are a person! Did you answer my questions? Why should they patronise what is closer to them when they prefer what is abroad? Has your dumb Bottom ever heard of what is called a rational consumer? Why do you think a rational consumer needs a person like you to tell them how to spend their money? person, you care about the value of the utility they get from their spending more than them? So tell me, person, why did you insist they should spend locally if you were not advocating moronic patriotism? |
kobikwelu: Just imagine if something like Tinapa was built in a place like Onitsha.. (with its hopeful ports)..In the next 10 years, Onitsha alone would have a GDP bigger than lagos.....heheheheOnitsha does not have the scenery of Obudu. It is too crowded and full of hustle and bustle. It would hardly ever had worked in the value proposition format Tinapa was built for. |
shymexx: Utter bollocks!!You are a person! Do you know the meaning of rational consumers? person? UK people don't go to Disneyland Paris? |
AjanleKoko: Nah.Yeah, that is what I am saying na. They should focus mainly on Nigerians and price should be the core of their 4Ps marketing strategy. |
shymexx: [s][/s]You are person! You carried and pasted a write-up of someone you googled on the internet verbatim and posted it as your own argument and you claim it is not plagiarism? ![]() You want to win debate by putting up other people's work? Moronic, illiterate hoodrat! ![]() |
Don't mind them. What they want is quick money syndrome. Blood money. Oil well that will yield immediately because oil deposit is guaranteed. Nigerian share the money immediately mentality has affected all of them. DO they know how many years it took dubai to develop? 10 years ago Dubai and their likes were not the toast of holiday seekers as it were today.
Be deceiving yourself there. Utter tosh! |
AjanleKoko: I was there on business both times.I think there only hope in hell is a mass-market strategy, not an exclusivity strategy. The cost of getting there is already a deterrent. The value offered for the price charged is inferior to the options available for the 'remote mass market' (Westerners) have at their disposal. For example, lets say I be Oyinbo man. I go fly 6hrs for £750 to get to Lagos (the airport there would already tell me I made a mistake selecting this country as a tourist and relaxing destination), spend another £80 to fly to Calabar (i.e. after waiting anywhere between 2hrs to a day to get the connecting flight) and then drive 1 hour by cab to Tinapa (which I am sure the cab driver would milk at least £60 from me). Only to get there and pay over £100 a night to stay in a hotel and still have to pay gate cost for the park. Now, lets even ignore the time, that is the cost for just one person. Now lets say it is a family of 4 considering it is more of a family destination, not "Awon Boys" holiday me and my buddies go on. ![]() Now compare it with my brother that booked a holiday for a family of 4 in Spain at the cost of £900 (I might have over-estimated, it might be lower). That included all flight fare, a holiday mansion for 4 days, free breakfast, all these waterpark amenities and a safe country. Tinapa needs to lower its prices so they have what is called Staycation. Basically make sure holidaying Nigerians do not vacate, they stay in the country. Aim for Nigerian middle-class that can afford $60 and above a night hotel room rate and see how they will over-utilise the place. |
johnaruson: Tinapa is in order: Tourism is a long therm investment, good tourist location shouldn't be in a crowded place. In tourism; local people are not always the target but strangers who find it fascinating and strange. Lawyers use it last week for their iconic National Convention. So you mean as a financial adviser, you would advocate investing money in something, that has high annual running cost, for many years without return? Abeg, no be my financial advisor o! I would rather Baba Sala be my English professor. |
shymexx: Nah, I admit I plagiarised your father dyck to fvck your mum!Shymexxx, they have caught you for plagiarism again? ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/997196/nairalands-literary-debating-day-finals#11526490 Why do you like plagiarising? |
Presidential retreat. It's for presidents with their aides and entourage. A country pays that bill. If you are a billionaire or even a millionaire who moves around with aides and assistants, you wouldn't have qualms paying that. There are four offices and 4 min conference rooms. It may be a business meeting that would earn your company millions of naira. Spending 1 million naira for a few days to put together a deal of 500 million naira is normal.
Which presidents and billionaires were dey dreaming would come and staty there? Rishad Banson? Abi na Barack Osama? |
Kx: @Okija-jujuTrust Naija na. They charge an arm and a leg for any stuff that meets the average standard by Western standards like if it is luxury. Yet, they would not give you the value for money that you will get for it abroad. I stayed in a hotel in Ikeja (Savoy Suites) the last time I was in Naija. Nice hotel, decor is very good but by no means world standard hotel. The price they were charging for the place was like if person wan stay Dochester. Even the Hyatt in Birmingham that is stunning and a world class hotel was far cheaper in comparison. |
putatively, you must be feeling smug right? your comments really make me numb, look atchu? 'anyway and you're entitle to your own subjective view, It doesn't add up
You are a cretin! Why don't you correct it then? Or is your brain that numb? |
shymexx: BwahhahahahahahaYou are a person! Tell me why you can't practice what you preach. If you can't, then add this to your long list of pummeling. Why did you dumbly state like an illiterate person that others should use their money to buy products and services that are lower in value for money in comparison to other products and services they can get elsewhere? Why are you not the champion of buying such products and services? |
AjanleKoko: Tinapa is actually not bad. I've been there a couple of times.Abeg, about how much did it cost on average? And how was the journey times like? |
shymexx: Where did I mention patriotism in my post? It seems you've reading disabilities. Are you dyslexic? You are a person! What does this statement mean: "However, trust Nigerians to rather go waste stolen monies in rubbish countries than invest in their own!"? Why are you just "not minding"? Why have you not dedicated all your holidays to holiday places in Nigeria like Tinapa instead of going to spend your money in "rubbish" countries that are alternatives? It is all talk, no action? |
shymexx: Nigeria probably happened to it.Why don't YOU show the way by dedicating your holiday to your patriotic and great Tinapa? |
Problems of TINAPA 1. Continuity: It feels like Liyel Imoke has no idea what Donal Duke was trying to achieve with Tinapa, so he doesnt even know how to continue it. 2. Poor Lobbying: TINAPA is supposed to be a Duty Free Port.. Problem is that Calabar already has a port that is very under utilized. For TINAPA to grow, Liyel needs to carry out some serious Lobbying in Abuja & Lagos to divert ships from Lagos - Calabar for Calabar port to see some action. I have a strong feeling that the life of Calabar port and TINAPA are tied together.. Their survival is dependent on each other. 3. LIYEL is a person: Yes I said it. Cross Rivers State was alive under Donald Duke. The only thing that LIyel seems to have continued from the Duke era is the Calabar Canival. The Canival|TINAPA|Obudu|& Calabar Tourism are all tied together in one big package. Go to Calabar and see how all the legacies left by Donald Duke have all rotted. examples include; - TINAPA: Its a mere shadow of what it oughts to be. - Obudu Cattle Ranch: A place that costs over 100,000 Naira a night to lodge in and yet does not have 24hr power supply. Parts imported by duke for further works can be seen in containers littered all over the ranch. - Marina Resort: I wept. I swear I wept when I saw Marina resort last month. Apart from the new Cinema that is there now, the rest of Marina resort is dead. - Calabar Canival: The darn thing is a mere shadow of what it used to be like under Donald Duke. - Calabar City: The Hype of the town is dead. Looks like a ghost town now. Infact, I doubt you can spot one new addition to the town done by Liyel. WORD OF THE GODS::TINAPA has entered into the large Nigerian Black book of White Elephant Projects. God Save Cross Rivers State.. I forgot, of course you will get 24 hour light and no threat of kidnap. Why would a sane person from UK go to Tinapa? |
Sure, they would vote him again... But will complain later... Who is more clueless?
I swear ko ni daa fun democrasi (E no go better for democracy). |
Some funny people thought that having a tourist location where it can take people up to 20 hours to get to, only to find it sub-standard with little-to-no exciting tourism features and kidnapping is a possibility, but yet it is impeccably expensive, was a great tourism idea. What a joke!!! |
Timehin: Which 'real reason'I don't give a toss about their agreement but I sure would not want person Nigerians to be given an opportunity to elect [again] an incompetent, dumb and corrupt person who also demonstrates that he has no honour. I know if given the choice, the majority person Nigerians might still vote him in again. |
Seriously, it's like the value of life is not being emphasized in the said police college, or rather, no orientation with regard to the SANTITY of human life. Or else how does one justify a situation where almost every member of the NPF want to killed or brutalized a fellow country-man to show status, to let the other person know he has power and the gun? Because when it started as the so-called accidental discharge, there was no concerted effort made to nip it in the bud, it has now grown out of control that police now kill each other, a senior officer for that matter, for mundane reason. Had it been there is a standing rule that the sin of only one policeman is visited on the other officer who is in the know, be it in patrol or in the station, there would have been a reasonable respect for anyone's life no matter his social strata. Don't forget that if a policeman in patrol killed a conductor or Okada man or anyone for that matter, for not parting with just

20, the driver of the patrol vehicle eazily zoom off the scene thereby helping his colleages escape and denial will follow. Before long, case is forggotten or stiffled out. No justice done. Shortly after that, another killing followed with little or no punishment meted out to the previous killer. Remember a policeman killed someone in Abeokuta some years ago, he was not even arrested not to talk of trial. The next thing was that he got promoted to the next rank to the chargerin of the deceased relatives who got to know when our policeman was giving thanks in a church. Even the then police Commissioner of Ogun state denied it and requests the relatives to produce evidence which they did by showing pictures of thanksgiving service before he believed. What am i saying... when things like this happened to a policeman who commits murder, but was aided to escape justice by colleagues, how do you expect such a policeman to show repect to other people's life? I have heard police told someone in full glare of the public that he will kill the person involved in that arguement with him back then and NOTHING will happen. Because he knows that nothing had happened before. Cast your mind back to the time of our Late President, Umar Musa Yar'adua, when the Channels TV station was sealed off. A policeman in the team that came to the TV Station told one journalist that he would have KILLED him but because he PITIED his family, and that he 'KNOW' him, otherwise, he would have meritted being KILLED. Despite the fact that all these was reported in the media, no senior policeman saw the danger in those utterances let alone punish whoever said that, at least publicly .We have all seen now that because life does not matter much to them any longer, it has graduated to killing themselves. But we believe that someday, someone with the fear of God and HIGH REGARD for human life will take over police service leadership and put an end to the trend. May God spare our life from them oo...
Because it is a shithole country run by professional fucktards like Jonathan! |
A typical Nigerian person journalist working for a person paper: Adebobola Alawode and . How has "we are impressed with the security on the ground" equalised to "our coach made a false claim"? |
Orlando Owoh: I'm only being sacarstic just as they believe Namadi Sambo's real name is "Nnamdi".Ah, Pele. My apologies. ![]() Retracted! ![]() |

Orlando Owoh: Musa Kwankwoso shouldn't forget his source: he is an Igbo man whose name is originally "Nwankwo". He should have respected the President, knowing full GEJ has upgraded Enugu Airport to international standard, wants to build the Second Niger Bridge, etc. This is the reason you think he has to respect the President? You are a professional and highly qualified person! |
IYA NGBALI: God is beginning to answer our prayers,by 2015,God would scatter them all,the umblella party go baje patapata. Awon olosi alakori,ka da fun gbogbo yin lai.Ami, ami, ami, loruko Jesu! ![]() |
ckkris: APC = NPC = GAMJI.You speak like a typical illiterate or semi-literate Nigerian person. |
tosin2013: Sagamite. Thanks for successfully ruining the thread. You are a person! Don't pick up your pen and notepad and jot down my words of wisdom, then you would wonder in future why you are a failure in life, cretin. |
PapaBrowne: Is it any surprise that all the names are from a single region in the country? Is it it evident already that it is the same born to rule mentality that is driving their decisions. Only Amaechi and his 2 senators are non northerners. And what did the Silverback Gorilla person called Jonathan do when Boko Haram members were being found in residence of Northern politicians? Nothing? Don't blame them, blame the person called Jonathan for being so impeccably reetarded. |
Kairoseki77: 1. GEJ will never win the PDP primaryBeautifully said.
To think that you are 36 years of age lends credence to Babangida's assertion that Nigerian youths are brainless. And some people are even liking your post. SMH!
You are really one of the fucktards in our youth that should make us worry about the future considering you can criticise someone without highlighting what points you found wrong. |
