We find it so hard to separate religion from anything..
Failure of governance has created religious mugus who are hoping there is some trancendental being that if they appease, will save them from the harsh realities of the environment the failed government has created.

The same failure of governance has resulted in a failed education system which means they are not mentally equipped to see that there is no evidence any trancendental being will intervene in their lives or on their behalf, so the pile on through ignorantly and with self-assured confidence of their worthless hope.

I can't stand cocky people, well except maybe Sagamu (Sagamite), but I know Sagamu is not cocky in real life, he just writes all sorts of cocky posts on NL to make himself interesting.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Governor's Wives (pictures) by Sagamite(m): 7:18pm On Nov 27, 2012
LMFAOO!!!!

It's funny because one of them (Cross Rivers) is reported to be significantly finer now than before due to a 'drastic weight loss'

I can't vote for a man with an ugly wife! I'm sorry! It goes to show i don't understand how that person thinks and thus don't trust them. I also can't vote for a polygamist because it shows your brain lives in the year 1587, and i can't vote for a governor with a dumb wife.

Men that seek wives that are 'better' than them are typically men of great ambition and intelligence, when their wife is independent and modern it shows that they're now preoccupied with control. Men with dumb wives are typically insecure and more concerned with controlling things than quality. It's just something I've noticed in life. Look at the governors with attractive or at least pleasant to look at wives

Fashola
Chime
Amaechi
Imoke
Amosun

Bauchi is fine, but being Yar Adua's daughter and the mans 4th wife, you can see he's a primitive fool and his marriage was more politics than anything.
Then look at the governors with ugly wives that are punishing their people because they have to knack human stock fish every night.

Rochas is probably just a chubby chaser, many man from Imo state simply like fat women, and her face is ok jare.
And this foooooool has a right to vote? undecided

Fck democracy!

martyns303: This chick use to be a banger with a cute face, the shape is still there but the face, what in zeus name happened to the face?
She has aged and she was not particularly Gold standard even at her peak. Moreover, that hairstyle is not doing her any favours. Looks resigned and lazy.

Great figure for her age though.

joe4christ: Now, here is the truth, but unfortunately only the wise would see truth in it.
Life is not all about you and your pleasure, no life is about the creator God and his will, your temporal life on earth is like a seed that when sown on earth soil must first of all die and rot before sprutting out new life and produces green and blossom into what nature has designed it to be,
life itself is a test, the way you live it would determine where u would end up for all eternity,
you would blame yourself for all eternity if you deludedly beleive that life is all about you and your happiness, life is all about Jesus, he made the heavens and the earth and for his Glory was it made, to demonstrate his love he had to die the worse and shameful death in other to save his very own creatures from eternal destruction, but if only they would accept his sacrifice of love and trust him to save them, and live the rest of their lives for him cos they've been bought with his precious blood, but yet humanity still prefer to live as they will, only to come to the realisation on their dying bed that they've lived their whole life pursuing after vanity and unrealistic fantasies.
My writeup might sound foolish to your hearing now, but that day you would remember vividly this very words of mine which you turned down not knowing you actually turned down the true words of wisdom that would have saved your life and soul forever.
You would forever remember you had the chance but u would'nt make wise use of it.
Nough said already!
What a dumb arsse post by someone with mental problems thinking he is wise.

Techwriter: It is that same moronic mediaval moral and values that has kept many people from danger. Nothing is as dangerous as freedom without restraints. Ask those in jail, drug addicts and most HIV victims, they wish they had more disciple. I know there is a Heaven, but even if there is none I still thank God for the way he kept me from many traps that would have destroyed me.
No 1, and it is only religion that can restrict danger?

No 2, since you did not specify a religion and referred to athiests, one should pick any religion as long as he picks one then he would not have any regrets?

No 3, did you mean the same medieval morals and values that has led to many deaths from fighting is what has kept people from danger?

enitan2002: dumbest post so far.
Trust me. No matter how hard they try, some people can just not hide how dumb they are.

Tgirl4real: It could be her Ghost jor grin
Yeah! grin

She did what she did because she is an inconsiderate and rude person, who has not invested anything in the interaction. So since she has no investment to lose, she did not care how the built-up interaction collapses. That is the average woman for you.

They think of themselves first and if they have nothing to lose, then it is fine for the other person to lose and they lackadaisically expect no retribution. While if they invest and someone does the same, they expect to be allowed to give retribution and also have a pity & character assassination party with guests of other women and special guest of eager-to-please "real men".

All these guys have to start learning how to protect your interest when interacting with women.

Techwriter: 3. For Atheist: I wish I believed there was a God. If I cross over to discover there is no God, Heaven or Hell I have nothing still to loose, but if it turns out to be real, I'm FINISHED
What a dumb post!

This is exactly the kind of mentality the list of regrets is trying to tackle.

So they cross over and find out there is no God but they have not lost living decades of moronic restricted lives all in the name of following some values/morals/nonsense of some ignorant medieval people when they could have fully lived their lives as they wish?

Babasessy: Nurse reveals the top 5 regrets people make on their deathbed

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
Mehn!

Virtually impossible I have any of these kinds of regrets on my death bird. I like to be happy, I no dey follow-follow, have too many friends and think of myself first.

Regret No. 5 is one I think someone like TV01 might end up with.

RomanceRe: "I Can't Give You My Phone Number, We Can Be Facebook Friends Though" by Sagamite(m):
Bros, you may be right. What I did probably doesn't conform to US standards that much either...there are a bunch of intricate rules about how you are supposed to wait X days to call a girl, blahblahblah.

But I've never cared to follow any of those rules. If I'm feeling a girl, I ask for her # and I'll call the next day. I think it is better to go with your instincts rather than conform to different standards that society arbitrarily is making up for you.

My instinct at that time was that the girl was feeling me (despite not wanting to give out her #), but was being inhibited in some way by external factors.

Plus if a girl is a stickler for society's rules, we wouldn't get along anyway...so better for me to find that out right away.
I can't fault your approach. One of my friends is using the same approach at the moment. He got bored of the rules and is doing things as he pleases.

If he feels like calling a girl at night after getting her number in the afternoon, he just does it.

But to practice that approach, one must be able to convey simultaneously that he is:
- very confident.
- not desperate.
- and he is willing to pack it up if she misforms.

If a girl messes up because he did not follow the rules, he just scraps that side quickly.

The trick to that ability is "piling them high". He gets as many girls number as possible, so he does not fret over one fcking up.
