I can't keep calm because today is for the greatest ever in African Literature.

Iya Basirat said that the only reason she sells 'extra' in her bukka is to help the customer when the main plate does not do justice to the hunger in his belly.

Permit me OP to do just a small 'extra' to your somewhat watery biography of my all-time hero.
Or maybe I'd do it in my diary
Nwaamaikpe is back. l reminisce those days in politics section.

A region responsible for the 90percent wealth of nigeria but cant boast of anything.
Jonathan was allowed to the presidency but the power play in his government were between Fulanis and Igbos, the tribes that formed 90percent of his government.
Zamfara state is now mining their resource and their governors are planning a meeting that will ofcourse be fruitless because they are just Fulani stooges.
The Fulanis, Igbo and Yorubas are always gearing up every four years for the presidency while the Niger deltans continue moping like foolish zombies.
I just feel pity for these people

I didn't read that project u wrote up there.
I had this girl that can fvck like kilode, she had no qualms having sex seven times a day, when I want to have sex, all I do was to wear just boxers, she get aroused and start touching me all over, and she can also give BJ, the girl cheated on me, I got very angry and threatened to break up, she pleaded and cried, despite the fact that she was spending on me, she still sex me a lot of times.

To cut the long story short, I caught her twice and never broke up for once, am I mad, until I used her to my satisfaction, I enjoyed both her money, her bj and the hot sex, I later dumped her after using her, with one stupid excuse, she cried and cried, asked people to beg me. For where, I moved on and after moving on we still continued our sex life until I left the place

I doubt you can get a direct entry into med/surgery with a bsc public health. Med/surg direct entry is for bsc anatomy, biochemistry and physiology.

Many of my friends with such plans got tired after their first degree so they just continued with masters in their various fields.

If you get med/surg admission, please go for it and leave public heath. Public health is not lucrative in this country. I know many of them who are now into teaching, insurance companies, banking and entrepreneurship.

Just my advice because I have many friends in that field.
this advice explains the sad reality.

Celebrities › Re: Sikiru Adepoju Celebrates His 68th Birthday by sageb: 1:37pm On Nov 10, 2020
naptu2:
Sikiru Adepoju was born to Chief Ayanleke Adepoju and Mrs Adepoju on November 10, 1952 in Eruwa, Ibarapa, Oyo State.

His great grandfather, grandfather and father were all drummers. They didn't specifically teach him how to drum, but he picked it up because he was always around many drummers. However, he didn't want to be a drummer because he saw the way his father and grandfather had to struggle to get recognition and make ends meet.

He moved to Lagos in the 1970s and became an apprentice cobbler in Mushin. He also played the talking drum part time.

His boss got a job as a cab driver at Ikeja Airport and became more interested in that, so Sikiru Adepoju had to leave the shoemaking business and became a full time drummer. He played for various bands at this time including Sir Shina Peters' band.

A dispute in Sir Shina Peters' band led Sikiru Adepoju to leave the music business once more and he became a revenue collector for the NURTW in Ojo in 1982. He made a lot of money with the NURTW.

However, he had already gained a reputation as a very good drummer and he couldn't run away from music for too long because people kept inviting him to play in their bands. That was how he was invited to play in Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey's Inter-Reformers Band.

He left Obey's band in 1985 because they had just returned from a tour of Europe and Obey decided that they should tour the US, but Adepoju decided that he was not going.

Highlife legend, Orlando Julius Ekenmode, invited Sikiru Adepoju to play the talking drum in his video shoot and after the shoot he invited him to move to the US with him.

Adepoju moved to the US with Orlando Julius in 1985. He was earning $250 a week while playing for Orlando Julius in the US.

He met US based legendary Nigerian percussionist, Babatunde Olatunji in 1985. Olatunji had played with legends like Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, Cannonball Adderley and Mickey Hart. Olatunji introduced Sikiru Adepoju to his friends.

Sikiru Adepoju could have been a 2-time Grammy Award winner by now. He and Babatunde Olatunji played on the Planet Drum album in 1991. The album won a Grammy Award, but Olatunji, Adepoju and 6 other performers were listed as contributing artistes rather than primary artistes. Therefore, the Grammy Awards only presenter the group with one trophy and eight certificates.

This issue was remedied in 2006 when Sikiru Adepoju performed on the Global Drum Project album. He was listed as a primary artiste this time and he was given his own Grammy Award trophy.

Sikiru Adepoju and Babatunde Olatunji also featured on 2Pac Shakur's posthumous album "The Rose That Grew From Concrete".
so this man is from Eruwa, I reminisce those Service days in Oyo state. Asiwaju ni Wa

Politics › Re: What Happened In Oyigbo by sageb: 9:54pm On Oct 31, 2020
dukeprince50:
Here is a summary of all that happened in Oyigbo.

1. It all started with Ipob youths attacking Hausa's, policemen and also destroying properties.

2.The governor(Wike) of the state asked them(Ipob) to stop, that in his state, every tribe is welcomed and u have no right to kill any body.

3.He(Wike) said every IPOB activities must stop in his state since they(IPOB) are already a terrorist group, he won't allow them operate in his state and also put a N50m bounty on someone and all he needs is useful information that will lead to his arrest.

4.On hearing this, the leader of IPOB(Mazi Nnamdi Kanu) placed a N100m bounty on wike, not a death or alive bounty but that they should bring Wike's head.

5.The governor decided to bring the military to Oyigbo since they(IPOB) are willing to play, he(Wike) was also prepared not to disappoint them

6.Some persons died in the process.(RIP)

7. IPOB: Wike is killing Igbos(Yes, I believed some innocent people may have died.)
ipobs started the feud now they are wailing as victims. We say no to terrorism in Rivers state. We are Niger Deltans.
