Business › Re: What They Didn't Tell Us About Entrepreneurship by sageb: 6:14pm On Jan 18, 2021
Techwriter:
The only part they told us about entrepreneurship was that we would be our own bosses.

They never told us that we would fail many times before we succeed.
They never told us that we would work 5 times more than our employees and not get anything sometimes.

They never told us that this would cripple our credit score. That we will be in debt and owe a lot of people money.
No one said anything about the sleepless nights trying to figure out a way forward.
No one told us about the stress and anxiety.

No one told us that this will cause conflict between us and or relatives and family members.
No one told us that we would be jokes to the society especially when we start changing from one business to another.

No one told us that sometimes we will go six months or more without any income. Living in the edge and surviving through borrowing money from different people.

No one told us that our doors would be shut down due failure to pay staff, they can’t get to work.

No one told us we would be hobos at some point.
No one told us that our wife's /husbands /boyfriends and girlfriend's would leave us because they will not understand our journey.

No one told us that we will have to be more than patient.
That we would make so many mistakes end up losing a lot of money.
That at some point we would have to risk our lives in order to move forward.

We had to figure this out all by ourselves.
Many gave up on the journey.
Some died on the journey.

But some of us after going through so much pain we decided that we were going to succeed or die trying .
Some of us we are never giving up on this no matter what. We are now doing it and very aware of the circumstances.
It's win or nothing for us and it's too late to go back now.

We are entrepreneurs!!

Education › Re: Does Marijuana Alter The State Of Consciousness? by sageb: 10:51am On Jan 15, 2021
philfearon:
This is a question a lot of people will love to really see what the answer is. However, it is not an easy question to answer. Before we proceed, let us look at the meaning of consciousness. We will also look at the ways smoking marijuana interacts with the body immediately the THC is inhaled into the body. THC is the chemical compound that causes the 'highness' or euphoria people experience when they smoke marijuana.

What is consciousness?

Consciousness has to do with the state of being aware of your immediate environment, internally and externally. According to Dictionary.com, consciousness is

"the state of being aware of and responsive to one's surroundings". So, it's not just being aware of your immediate surroundings, you also need to have the capacity to respond to stimuli.

Having known this definition of consciousness, do you think that smoking marijuana alters the consciousness of the smoker? The answer to this question lies in the simple fact that the state of our body is always adjusting to what it is being fed at all times. What does this mean?

It means that if you eat beans for instance, it is going to alter your state of consciousness and cause you to release some gas. This is not something a person will normally do. But, each time you eat beans, there is a tendency that you are going to release a lot of gases, and it may be at odd times. It may even create embarrassing moments for the person if not properly coordinated.

Back to the question. Marijuana is known to contain THC - Tetrahydrocannabinol. This compound contains chemicals that attaches itself to the body's neurotransmitters, quickly assimilating into the body system. In the medical world, THC is designated as a psychoactive drug.

From Wikipedia:

"A psychoactive drug, psychopharmaceutical, or psychotropic drug is a chemical substance that changes nervous system function and results in alterations in perception, mood, consciousness, cognition, or behaviour."

Some marijuana consumers do admit that it alters their consciousness in some way. However, since everyone is living a unique experience, it is hard to imagine the particular state of consciousness been referred to. Some report getting well needed rest, while others report about pain relief. Some others report about their creative genius been amplified after smoking marijuana. To some, it might be an escapist affair, while to some others, marijuana helps them forget about their life problems or create solutions to them through more introspection.

In the end though, i guess we can rightly say that the alteration lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Yes it does. In social sciences research, we call it distorted state of
consciousness. Marijuana is a stimulant

Okay, How's RN from colleges in Labour market
Nursing in University is preferable due to certificate dichotomy. when Funaab resumes, join your colleagues and ensure that you don't miss lectures. Also, prepare for your FST exams and the Nursing exams. when they admit you, then you can leave FST for the Nursing school. Goodluck

MacBriggsons:
Countless number of times they have been told and advised. Their banter did not start when he died. When he became incapacitated with Parkinson’s disease, the power tussle started with the MoniPulo Board of Directors etc. While she held on to Rachael Hotel in Township, MoniPulo was another thing entirely. It became very “bloody”. I am in support of none of them. Their banter made things worse in the Company and in the family. The scramble for power, authority, etc was to say the least disappointing.

One interesting fact is that a lot of people who benefited from him when he was alive also mismanaged their opportunities. Seinye knows those who were against her when Lulu was strong and agile. She does not intend to give them a second chance.

Personally the establishment of the MacBriggsons CIGI (MacBriggsons Conglomerate Industries Group Incorporated) Brand was to ensure that the Briggs Family did not rely only on High Chief O.B. Lulu Briggs. There is a need for the Oruwari (BRIGGS) family and it’s war canoe houses to ensure value creation for its existing and forthcoming generations.

If every Briggs In Abonemma tried to add value and seriously engage in worthwhile ventures like Lulu did there would hardly be any Briggs out there wasting away in “ama” doing nothing. The BRIGSS (Oruwari) family should be more United and push a common front for the benefit of its children and members.

Come March 13 we shall all be In Abonemma to pay our respects to a modern day Warrior. It is time.

Gentlebabs:
A Poem: Love Is Not Enough
Curtains drawn as in a Shakespearean play nightfall in paradise in a steamy session cuddling and murmurings still, we didn't hear a word - No doubt, we are in love!
Never felt this way nor this secured. Just like a cub in a pride this seemed like home. It was for us a beginning the beginning of an end.
No more games! The time has come to hang this booth. Make me a home and focus on tomorrow the one that is filled with hopes.
But I am in love! In this journey of "Yes I Do" is love just enough? What about my dreams does it matter to him? He never talks about it. Is this a red flag?
I worshiped you Diana when you said "love is all that matters". Did you think about compatibility? What if he doesn't like 69? What if he is SS? Diana, just what if...?
Today in my world the economic pendulum is swinging fast in favour of women. What if he is not willing to work? So many “what ifs” left unanswered. But I love you... Is love just enough?
We can plan for years use the best wedding planner hire the best artist. So much buzz and pageantry put into an event of one day. What about the marriage? What if she still has baggage?
I love sex, she doesn't; I love to club, but he'll pass. Should I lose my life because of marriage? But I'm in love... Doesn't love conquer all? Should I just submit and how for the best?
Love is not enough! The real question should be are we really compatible? I have gone through my checklist and suddenly realised we are in love, but incompatible. So, this is where the road ends for decision decides destiny.
