Whoa, the profit margin on yours though... these alyts Dey fear me recently; I haven’t had as much time to trade like I used to, I’d hate to get into some of these alyts that require constant monitoring
Profits in altys dey sweet... With them, entry is everything.. Money from betece will always flow into them.
Just time their entry with eiths move.
Whenever eith has a big move and holds, you can be rest assured they'd go ballistic over the next week or two.... Na eith be their remote

Of course, we know betece will outperform most in the long-term but after betece bullied them on the way up from October to December, betting on an alyt season from Jan to feb was a good idea.. Regarding March, I dey fear that month.... Hoping to take serious profits towards the end of this month or early March depending on how the market moves

I have altcoins since 2016, disposed of some few months ago when I had time. If I have their time again I will empty their yeye coins from their wallets in my ledger. They are only beneficial as they give investors the diversification of risks in disguise Lol. Trading them good. Long term F9.. Check available data from the creation dated of each till date and see how they have been performing. Most of them died prematurely Lol.. Lock your money with correct coins like BeTeC, EiTH and LTeC , only if you're ready to dump them for a number of years and throw your hardware wallet on top of your ceiling grin..
Please loud this...

I'm seeing an increasing number of people saying they want to buy random alyts in the middle of a bullrun and keep for the long-term... They'd say betece is slow. I'd ask them, have you charted this coyn against betece or eith and see its performance. The funny one is doge

99% of alyts exist for profit taking only...

Eithy needs to do it’s thing also... This CBN bs is pissing me off cuz one could be making huge profits off Lno with their ridiculous exchange rate
Guys should chill over Eithy... Look at the performance over the last year. It's about the best and consistent performer in the market... It's just like a constant blessing.

Everyone expected it to accelerate after taking 1400... Let it consolidate first. Even when betece broke 20k, it spent good time between 24-26k before accelerating to 42k

I've been in eithy for a long time... Not selling just yet..
I'm quite convinced that this bullrun wouldn't end without eith doing what it does best

I entered massively at 38/39k, recently got some more at 47k
Good profits...

My last betece position was at 31k... When the 30k support held. Still in it since its spot.. I got more into alyts then though

As the big boy just crossed 50, I just reentered some midcap Aüülts
Crossing and taking a resistance aren't same thing...

You want to see a close above and the start and close of a sensible timeframe candle above it and a bounce to confirm its now support

No need rushing into alyts yet if you didn't load on the last dip until betece confirms 50k.

Reason is if betece takes 50k, it'd likely take the show and accelerate briefly and kill alyts in the interim except if eith pushes up to save the day.

If it gets rejected bad, alyts will die again..
So patience perhaps until 50k is taken and taken well.

There’s this feeling that comes with making money the smart way not the hard way one can’t describe abeg...

I can rest for a while now and plan my future reentry... S/O to all the people who will do the right thing and avoid trying to jump on the betece bandwagon now that it’s pushing 50... my advice sit this one out
Kudos...
What was your average entry?

Well Saïd Boss; especially the bit about people making sure to make their own decisions and not copying random trades... and I would agree that LTC has been a great buy, I sold at 214 earlier today and bought at 215 cuz something said it would perform a bit more, I’m currently liquidating at 221. All in a it was a pretty good trade.

And people lose money because they do not time their entries and most especially their exits... Most people like to push their luck; if I decide to hope LTC will hit 230, I might get burnt so I’d rather take my little profit and go. Hedge funds and people who trade massively hardly hold stocks or qoins too long except they strongly believe in its potential; and not so many qoins have long term potential.

At the end of the day it’s what works for each individual that they should do. I have found that I lose when I attempt to experiment with micro caps cuz I trade volume & each fall is always detrimental to me. So I stick to my favorites; the qoins that I truly understand
Sensible advice...
Micros are very risky... Folks are carried away by the large percentage moves but forget they're microcaps for a reason.

I’m in for the long haul so either way, I can’t possibly lose... If it don’t hit today, it will hit eventually
Your plan is sensible though I'm playing mine different. Taking profit at significant resistance has always been a timetested and good trade skill. One can always enter on claim and confirmation of it if they want to.

I took some new positions on the last dip. Obviously most are in profit and protected...

Let's see how betece plays with 50k

Betece hasn't taken 50k yet... When it does, and holds, you'd know.

As with any major resistance, there's always a degree of uncertainty around it. And it's best to treat resistance as resistance until taken and support as support until lost.

We can also get rejected hard from 50k. So its sensible to have stops in place even though I'm betting on the upside

I track enough coyns already. I'm not keen on adding more just yet... I think my portfolio is well distributed as it is with.

My entry price for Atom was 9. I don't see any entry price for it closeby. For sushi and uni, they seem to be in a consolidatory phase after a good move up... I'm not in yet but watching for a breakout of that structure like DOT did

Good stuff... What you got were discount prices which should be paying off already...

We had a dip, folks got scared and sold the bottom asking for an even bigger dip. Why do I think those same folks would be left chasing pumps later this week or nexthuh
This market takes no prisoners..

I heard people attribute success here to luck. It's not. If your trading is based on luck, you'd definitely lose in the long run.. one should make sensible entry and exits based on market data. You would be wrong alot of times and that's where risk management comes into play

For those asking what to buy, I'm still sticking to my original list...
In addition, I am looking at fresh positions in sushi and uni as they seem to be breaking out of previous consolidation range.

This is how I'm playing it.
1. I plan to take profits from early runners or those still in their 1st wave pump and cycle them into late ones...

2. Once the market starts getting overextended, I'd be taking profits on the way up into fiat. Would be taking these after significant moves up. Cos we'd have steeper corrections and I plan to benefit from them

Already coyns like atom have continued their previous run. I got in at 9 and would be taking some profits at 27 which is x3 for me. Dot has also continued it's old move... I've had some position in this since it was 4 and added some more when it broke 30. My target on this is 40... ...

InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Sailor1:
First and foremost, no one can absolutely time this market. The earlier you learn that, the better for you. Analyse charts based on the facts and current trends.

The last move was a classic betece move... I keep talking about leverage traders,..most short term price action is based on activity of leverage traders...
First betece pumped above the range forcing shorts to close their position or get stopped out. It then dumped back and wicked below the previous range ensuring late longs were either stopped out or liquidated. Look at the purple lines to see what happened.
Guess what? Over 1 billion usd was liquidated (wiped off) on both moves.

Usually, after such, it picks its trend as the market is less heated...
From my chart, as far as betece holds the trend on the 4hr chart, I'm not bothered.if it loses it, I recondider... That most folks are calling 30k gives me conviction that it'd hold.

Look at the HTF,,,, after one month of ranging on high volume between 30-40k, it broke out. I don't believe it broke thru 42k to reverse ar 48k... Of course, there can be dips v but the trend is still up.

In early January, I picked some position on certain alyts when the market was screaming alyts were dead. It was one of the best trading decisions I made. I shared how I took profits on x3-x4 on most positions. On this move, i also took some fresh positions. My plan is to x2-3 my spot portfolio in the next 3-4 weeks and reconsider
What I'm seeing is a strong flip of resistance for most alyts. If betece holds and pushes up, they shoud accelerate.

@sailor1 thinking of selling my beetceee now. Been seeing on Twitter how a major correction might come real soon. What do you think based on your signals. To still hodl or sell and buy the dip?
Lol... Twitter....

Like I used to say, try and analyse the trend... Dont be the trend others analyse... I'd share my view on betece in the coming post.

Take this... One thing is certain in this market...when everyone believes betece will do one thing, it almost always never does that... The crowd is usually wrong except in the middle of a strong trend sometimes.

One thing I've come to understand here is that when I log on twitter and everyone os saying a coyn will dump or pump, it disappoints them

Sailor1 what do you suggest sir?
Interesting one.. a PnD tgat got alot of folks trapped..

Despite immense selling, it's held the critical 0.054 level well... Already, bullish divergences have been formed and are playing out. I believe it gets to 0.08 at least in the coming days... A flip of that level should see continuation.

I'm not one to cut my spot trades at a loss in the middle of a bullrun. Usually, stuff eill rebound to atleast your buy point. I prefer to time my entries properly and allocate my portfolio sensibly to avoid such.

You've been immense, Sorry to bother you once again. In the picture you posted it's obvious you have the option of choosing a couple of time frames which are non existent in my Binance mobile trading platform. I mean, the maximum I can get is 1 month while yours has the option of 5 years and max. I have even pinched out to the fullest like you recommended and that's no good

Attached is a screenshot to explain my point. Compare it with the picture you posted with this quote of yours I have highlighted.

I will be grateful if you can give me pointers on how to increase the time frame just like yours. This will aid in my analysis. Thanks.

CC everyone.
It's not that way...
When I say 5 years, I mean the time frame covered in the picture.

The part you highlighted signifies tge timeframe each candle covers. Usually, It can range from yearly to even seconds.

The duration you can see depends on how long the coin is has existed and how long its listed on binance

Too bad! Sometimes you feel an entry point is too high and it never comes down to your buy limit only to see the coin doing x2 of the entry point you deemed too highgringrin.

You said link and eith will likely pump last in this bullrun so is it advisable to TP and stay away from alyts the moment Eith & Link gets really pumped? Even though link has not pumped it has gradually moved to 30, is it still safe to enter at this point?
Usually it does in the long run... Not always definitely. Afterall, people have to be left chasing to drive the FOMO.

Zil is a micro that moves well... Let's see how far it goes... Will keep this updated

I didn't say link and eith would be the last to run... I said I'm not convinced this run is over without those two running... Things can remain irrationally overextended for a long time.... The strategy I'm going with is taking profits on the way up as it's difficult to time the exact top

Not nice... You shouldn't be losing such money in the middle of a bullrun

In alyts, entry is everything.

I'm guessing you invested your whole portfolio in a microcap... That's equivalent to gambling... They're microcaps for a reason.

The first exam in this trading is learning not to chase a green candle. You'd keep getting tested on that. It's also the best way to lose your portfolio and limit profits. There'd always be opportunities

After the Doge loss, I just jejely stick to my 10usd daily trading profit... it has consistently work for me for the past 10days.... except last 2days that I tried to test holding..my coin keep rising and falling at same point. Lolz, I took the wheels again today...link and XLM have giving me 27usd today.

I now understand what you mean by taken profit...

Boss please kindly suggest another nice exchange like bin.ance for me.... I prefer taken my profit entirely off bi.nance, else I will use it to trade and I don't like it. I currently use cryp.to.com but the exchange is only good for holding...I want something dynamic like bina.nce.

I like to seek opportunities before they become obvious....

Like I said above, one of the reasons I'm still in the market is cos eith and link haven't pumped.... I very much dont think this bullrun will end without those two pumping. Obviously, nothing is certain in this market and I'm willing to be wrong on this.

If you've witnessed link pump before, you wouldn't want to miss it... It's one of the most bullish coyns in the top 10. Moreso, it didn't spend all this thime accumulating above ATH for nothing

I said yesterday that I was ridiculously accumulating link. Thankfully, my alyts pumped today and good profits were taken to redeploy else where.... In hindsight, it'd be an obvious trade... One I don't want to miss....

Please how do you mitigate ris.k? do you set stop loss immediately after you enter a trade? When please

CC sailor1
There is no definite way... It may include
1. Stop loss
2. OCO orders
3. Knowing when to buy
4. Selling into fiat as a coin pumps
5. Trading into eith/betece...
6. Selling to reduce loss once there's been a break of market structure
7. Sticking to my plan except on certain occasions

Seriously, it all depends on where the market is....
Sometimes when betece or eith haven't moved, I average profits of smallr alyts into them at certain resistance zones.

That said, the most reliable way of mitigating risk, is knowing when to deploy fresh fiat into the market...
Someone who bought betece at 10k isn't too flustered what it does now. I have stopped deploying new money into the market. My plan is to use the next 3-4 weeks to take serious profits and re-evaluate... Already, I've started doing that
