Shakitibob0:It depends on what your preference. Given that betece will outperform most alyts in the long run, some traders use alyts to accumulate betece hence trade into betece. With the adventof stable coyns and increased liquidity on their pairs, some now trade into usdt.... It all depends on your choice...but its always worth keeping an eye on betece cos if betece too |
Gsilk:Thanks for the nice words. Good trades you've made and good profits too... What I'd say is that Ada is a coyn that really runs when it does... I've not sold it yet Against the eith chart, the 0.36 level is significant after thst, it's pretty much air until the 0.54 level.. I have set some to sell at 0.36 and will be watching that level for a response... Also not advisable to jump in and out of coyns at this point except you're quite good at it... Sometimes, it's better to let the market do it's thing. Theta is another good one... I thought it'd reject at the 0.24 level bit it didn't. I'd be looking to take a position on a retest. Theta, ada, xlm, link are the old coyns u don't want to sell prematurely during a run. When they run, they run |
bradwilli:yeah.. on binance its not an ngn pair except you buy usdt |
sweetveek:Nice points you've raised and I'd say you have done well for someone who started in December But one thing I strongly disagree with is your take on betece You are the second person saying that this week an it is getting me scared. make una cool down first mk my altys pump. I quoted a post a while ago on my discussion with someone on the treasury bills thread in December when he said altys are dead. I smiled and told him that is an indicator that altys will soon run and eclipse betece. I keep saying cycles cos in this market, timing a cycle is where all your money is made or lost see how it works 1. Betece pumps milking altys- people say institutions are only interested n betece that altys are shitcoyn... 2. Eith then pumps... and out performs betece 3. Majors- midcaps and micros follow and do multiples of betece and eith... people say that betece is dead and an old coyn 4. Betece wakes and in one day wipes away alyt profits of 3 months people eye go then clear The facts are these 1. If eith did not break ATH, all this movement on altys wouldn't have occured. If eith pumps further and doubles its value, alyts will do x10-x20 sef 2. Early Jan, betece reached 42k, eith pumped from 700-1200 to signify the start of an alyt season. Since then, betece has been ranging...and alyts have gone ballistic. When the time comes, betece will still range and alyts will tank and wipe profits made 3. I know you may be thinking that when that time comes, you'd cash out asap....lol... That is what millions are saying... 4. sensible thing todo now willbe to use this run and gather more betece or eith or take good profits into cash. Trust me, you do not want to be holding any alyt when betece turns. 5. New coyns, majors, minors, micros, eith and betece all have their use- I would still advise splitting your portfolio accordingly if you are new 6. Chart any alyt against betece and ask yourself which one you want to trade. I know alot of good traders who only trade betece and eith.. I don't know of any who only trades alyts. All in all, for new folks here. All your money is made or lost in timing cycles. Bull runs are very easy to trade but there are life lessons that you can only learn in a bear market or trading a full market cycle. Keep calm headed and don't let the alyt pump take your focus out of where we are in the market cycle. I know it doesn't make sense now but your safest bet here is still betece followed by eith |
Ojemedad:I mention coins I track here... But perusing briefly, I'd say VET is yet to really move but has maintained good structure LINK has been consolidating and is breaking out If you're a newbie, grab some eith as insurance- at this stage, other coyns might outperform it but you'd be happy you had some eith in the long run Atom hasnt moves as much (it's not my most fav coyn tough) Alot of coyns look bullish... Xlm seems to be bidding its time, algo has left the train station |
Sailor1:Update on band.... Still one of the cleanest charts... Flipped the 10.5- 11 area with a clean bounce, confirmed that with a 'double bottom' and on course broke 12.5 resistance. A flip of that resistance (which is taking place) should push us further up. Targets are very clear on the weekly chart (2nd pic) With the way things are popping, would be surprised if this blows to ATH.. cos band is a runner like sushi that has been lagging a bit
|
ADA..... Tells a miple story... One which was well obvious over the last few weeks... Good enough, I was patient on this... Funny enough, it gave people an opportunity to load up after breaking 0.4 The reason I like majors like ada, xlm, link and sometimes exrp is that when they run, they run...
|
lovinhubby2wife:I use different exchanges... it depends on what I'm trading |
Sailor1:Dip bought up quickly Altys running as expected Xrp giving me goosebumps...steady buying pressure... Set my sells already and watching things play out |
I love this and had to share... Its the ren weekly chart.. some reasons I love TA 2 weeks ago... Hit ATH Last week... Flipped ATH into support This week... PUMP Excited cos I see similar structures forming across board... Already, some like Ada have moved... Others are bidding their time P.s... no go buy a coyn that has pumped 35% in a day oooo.... It sat between 0.5-0.6 throughout past week. That was the time to buy
|
lovinhubby2wife:You mean the trading platform? |
Ebowo:Free him to be doing adashe |
Runsboi:Hehehe.... You don't follow stuff blindly and probably got in after it done over 40% yesterday. PnD or not, learn to wait for your entries and not chase pumps. That means buying coyns that haven't pumped yet. If you're only interested in coyns that have pumped, then you'd likely loose in the long run. On doge, I said I got interested cos it seemed to be forming a structure on the way up...and not just a single push... In such cases, you wait to enter on a retest of support. It currently suts at 0.45 which is a smaller support and might very well go down to test 0.4 (a further 10%) drop if 0.45 doesn't hold before a further move up. What you should understand is that a slow grind up is much healthier and better than a single push. Learn patience and allocate your portfolio accordingly. You should stick to eith if you like your money cos it seems you're expecting 100% everyday.. Identify good projects, take position and be patient for it to succeed... I've been in link spot for over 3 months since it was 9 and I'm not looking at selling soon. There are lot of stronger projects waiting to run who may even give a better pump than doge at this stage. Less than 1% of my portfolio is in doge and even if it goes to zero, I'm not flustered. Folks will not buy eith or betece that is safer... They're only interested in PnD and looking for who to blame |
mattyrukee:Cant be certain but it's sure forming structure and bull markets can be irrationally irrational... If it surges suddenly towards that level, then it may be sold off... But if its a slower grind up, then it'd like blast through it.... I have set my sells around 0.75... if it crosses 0.8, I'd reenter |
Not gonna lie...doge seems like it'd take 0.8 preety quick... Cant believe I'm saying this |
Sold aave at 395 this am and the stuff kept pumping to 500. The thing vex small There's a coyn I keep watching... Its the only one that broke its ATH on first trial without hesitation sef... That showed heavy buying took place...Funny enough, ut broke it's ATH before eith.. Of course folks aped in with huge leverage and it didn't move. Since then, its been consolidating above ATH.... The more it consolidates, the more interested I get... I might be wrong on this, but I'm very willing to sit tight...cos it's moves can be explosive.. Coin is link... I know the market is getting blurry but I still try and use the weekly performance (see pix) of a coyn to know what to buy on a dip... Usually, I target coyns who are holding structure and may not have moved much over a week or two... But then some coyns will perform better than others Finally, loaded up some leveraged coyns on this dip... The exrp and ada leverage already well in profits... Should close them relatively soon ish
|
jedisco:I made that post early last month when eth hit 1000k We're already seeing a sneak peek Look at the HTF... We know certain things Eith rules the alyt market... It has broken ATH with good volume Of it goes the way betece went, it may not retest that breakout zone anytime soon As Eith has broken ATH, expect majors to approach their ATH too... That includes LTC, ADA and even exrp (I know it sounds outrageous but its still a major) Keep calm, snipe laggards and lock in some profits Except if betece pulls one of its dumps (unlikely), stuff will get explosive soon.. understand the market cycle so u can be ahead... |
Okogiemikejr:Mentioned some b4... There's ones calked trezzor.... But if you're not keeping good stash, it may not be necessary |
TheEnlightenedO:The market is soo bullish... That's why I advised some folks to let the market do it's thing to their portfolio rather than doing themselves over trying to be smart. Lots of profits brother |
I've been noticing bullish buying on xrp that's being surpressed... I think this stuff breaks out quicker than we think... 0.5 shouldn't be a bad target... Added a lil here....just a lil oooo for a quick scalp Looking at the big picture, eith rejected from 1700 and betece from 38k... As far as eith doesn't dip below 1400 (which I don't expect) then altys would run... Most have broken out and holding structure so far... If eith closes below 1400, then alts would crumble No need to rush in... it's worth waiting for the dip 2 finish I'd reply mentions later in the day...a bit busy |
Doge oooo... Feeling like jumping in with a lil... But I no get time to monitor wahala today |
Treasury bills past rates of 10- 20% per year was seen as fantastic Fixed deposits are much less Agrotech at 30- 80% despite fantastic per year was seen as highrisk with lots of defaults Don't burn yourself insisting on getting 10% everyday... its not that easy. It's always good making more but don't get greedy chasing larger profits. Also, for new folks, don't get carried away with people making multi-percentrage profits in a short while or screenshots of that. Making money in this space is easy...keeping it is the hard part. Some will make more and some will make less than you. Sometimes, I ask myself, what's the worst thing betece could do today? If the answer to that is a selloff, I tend to exercise caution. If betece drops to 30k today, majority including me will be left pants down. I have seen a number of market tops and the majority is ALWAYS offside... The portfolio drop dey be like film These are the things I tell myself to put things in perspective and prevent me from getting greedy. |
kolagbemi:Lol... Same person... Na spam bot... Sometimes I forget to edit certain words in quoted posts and the spambot picks on it |
sKeetz:Dot has been a sweet one... Had a monster breakout after 3 weeks of consolidating... Had earlier converted half to eith at 18 ish...and took some profits off... Either way, were getting into the season of sell high, buy higher. Sold my aave at 395, the thing still dey waka... Not stressed... Others should profit |
Heavy greens across the market Betece dealing with 38k resistance Eith looks to slow down around 1700 Eith ran yesterday, I expect certain altys to catch up today nd next provided eith ranges.. For day traders, it's these ones that are worth sniping instead of those that have done 40% already. For swing traders, dips will come and everything will be at a discount... I personally don't like reloading altys on a green day irrespective of if they've moved or not Either way, I've started taking some profits on heavy runners and putting stops in some places... The market will obviously keep trending up but dips will come and I want to have fire power for those... It's always nicer to take profits on the way up... Also, for those on binance, it's always worth monitoring the value of your portfolio in betece... If its not increasing, then it might be better to remain in betece |
lovinhubby2wife:Hehe...dont rely on feel oo.. This market can brutalise your feelings |
Comeandcollect:They're exchanges (like a market place)...although safe theyre not fullproof. For example, if binance is hacked, it depends on the amount of coyns stolen. Binance has some insurance and can offset some losses to maintain their reputation. If its large, they may not meet up. Same goes for any exchange... If you're keeping significant fuel, then move it to a hardware wallet. |
lovinhubby2wife:Free am. People must donate... Na person dey carry whale sh**t. As the bull run progresses, pnd will become more brutal... Reason is most folks would think doge did 500% and exrp 180% b4 it dumped so they'd enter hoping to cash out b4 then Whales no go send and can dump on them asap |
kolagbemi:They are tokens which maximise your loss or profit.. Most folks here dont understand how margin traders move this market in the short term. Look at the recent wallstreetbets fiasco or watch the big short to get a glimpse. On the move of eith from 1400 to 1600, some folks have made x10 of profits a spot trader would make. Leveraged token are offerings which mimic margin trading but reduce some risks... Most are limited to x3 either way. You wouldn't lose your account (liquidated) but you can loose a large chunk. On binance, you could search for 'up' or 'down' and see what offerings are there... They're not for new traders... There best entered when you're quite sure of a move. Not when your mind feels there'd be a move. Also, before you start trading them, its best you perfect your day trading in trading spot... Keep off them if you can until you get the skill |
TheZebra:Apologies... It's better it was the real wallet. If it was the crypt0 wallet, na wahala you dey |
TheZebra:No one can tell... But I don't think so... The market is getting overheated... So it may look to slow fown and wipe overzealous gamblers BTW, it's better it slows down and forms good market structure... It's that structure that'd support it during a selloff. If it rises in a straight line, it'd crash same way. i.e, if it rises like doge, it'd fall like doge I'm looking at it slowing down around 1700 then the next target would easily be 2k |
Ojemedad:Whats confusing |
