Brotherly, my umidigi one is a treasure, there's none like it, but the A5 pro seems to be matching it pound for pound. My umidigi one is only resting cos I don't carry 2 phones, so it's sitting as my backup phone.

But if I were to do a comparison btw the 2, I like the Umidigi one for the type c, fast charge, innovative side fingerprint scanner and super loud call volume.
While the A5 pro takes it with it's teardrop notch, wider screen and better camera. But all in all, I really don't see a difference in performance, they seem tied in that category.

So it's really about choice and ur wants. Cheers

Doogee ain't type C oooo, it's the normal USB charging port. Moreso, the phone doesn't come with fm radio. Doogee is nano sim/nano sim or nano sim/SD card while a5 pro nano sim/nano sim/SD card at a go which means you can't use 2 Sims and SD card at the same time on doogee but you can do that with a5 pro. A5 pro supports up to 256gb SD card while doogee is just 128gb. They both uses the same chipset, so what's the 'kill' difference in them? Have you used it before to come to this conclusion?

Beautiful comparison, let's also state that it has global LTE connectivity, so you can use an umidigi in practically any country and on Any network in the world. Did I add dual VOLTE on both Sims at the same time?

The truth is the Doogee is a good phone just like the Umidigi but there's something that makes both stand out for their target audience, but saying that the Doogee beats the A5 pro is a fallacy.

But last last it boils down to choice and preference, and to be honest, I'll choose the A5 pro, over and over again

I use glo services and have come to notice that on the island, its services are superb compared to some areas in lagos.
To enjoy glo services you have to upgrade your sim to 4glte and have a 4glte enabled phone.

I rate glo the best for now in terms of affordable data, browsing speed and crazy bonuses.

Buy a glo 4glte sim and enjoy. ..

I agree with you totally, location tends to play a vital role and in terms of coverage, I will give it to MTN. But for overall value for money GLO beats all competition.

For this complaining about GLO being slow, I guess U're not using a mobile device with band 28, get a 4G enabled band 28 device and enjoy the best network for now.

Did I mention that the bonuses are off the hook. Both call and data bonuses are mouth watering and most importantly, no zapping.

Good news too for people who have band 3 on their devices, Glo is gradually rolling out on band 3. So to other networks still behind this is a wake up call.

Brotherly I jump u pass. No more phones till next year, except Umidigi won send me test unit. If not then nothing for them. My A5 pro is still on point and very clean, so I'm satisfied for now.

Good morning house....please, who has been able to resolve the issue with the recent glo 4g Sims not able to browse on 4g except 3g. In A5 pro ( even with band 28 present)...l have called glo customer service they seem not to have a solution...please house l need your help urgently.

First confirm that u have a 4G sim then send Glo customer service a tweet asking for them to provision ur line for 4G. It will be sorted In 5mins.

My only challege now is how my font will change from default style when i am chatting on WhatsApp.
Have tried downloading different font keyboards but didn't understand the setup.

MissTechy for one who has never contributed on this platform before, even with ur prowess in analysing phones (at least to the best of my knowledge) I would expect some level of decorum when making an assertion.
Am not saying U're wrong or right and just saying u could have looked at it from different perspective and make ur conclusion based on that analysis.

It was off all this while and I just switched it on and stated watching misstechy's phone review on YouTube

Just like 3 minutes into the video the phone became soo hot I had to stop the video and keep it


And real tired of it

I believe this is due to network reception in the area u find urself. I use the A5 pro and in my house and office it doesn't heat up at all. But when am around the surulere/orile axis, it heats up especially while using glo. But with MTN in same locations, it's as cold as ice.
My suggestion check ur network, if it doesn't work, backup and run a factory reset.
