I personally don't respond to things like this but let me give it a shot. I have read comments for the past few days and all i can do is smile. I don't think there's any comparison with any of the phone brands mentioned, xiaomi is in a class all on it's own and Umidigi is trying to create a name for themselves, both are different and a comparison of both of them on the same threshold would be cruel to say the least.

Now to the guy who says he has used so many phones with so many faults, can he please do the right thing by proving to everyone that he actually owned or still owns those devices, if he cannot show us picture, let him show us the receipts of purchase or screenshots of himself posting it on nairaland when he bought those devices. Let's be clear, am not saying he's lying but i would require proof to either agree with him or dispel the whole of this writeup as false and misleading.

I have a number of these devices and i can say first hand that i only go for value for money and not a brand name. Like a wise man once said "my money, my choice".

I did just that. It didn't power on.

Try connecting it to a charger, if it indicates charging the try recovery again with the cable connected.
If it still doesn't power up then contact Ur seller and update us with their response. Hopefully you should be able to get a partial refund if all else fails.

There was no trick involved. I just woke up early and saw the price, ordered and later that morning it was shipped. Checked a few hours later and it was at 43k
