Any updates on the Umidigi One/One Pro, slower than normal charging cycles?......

Did a restart and it now charges in about 2hrs, discharge rate better, gives an SOT od about 5-6hrs depending on usage. All in all i guess it's fine and heating has reduced drastically

But the battery is now stronger I must confess.. Be like day na me first notice am, na why e good to watch porn wella and it's not like it takes toooo long to charge to full power, its just slower than it used to be, but it's still very fair.

I sure will, Bros I no really care about charge time in as much as the SOT can take me 6-7hrs am just fine, thanks to the powerbank u gave me, I carry my power anywhere. As for the hotness I never complained for once cos I used ab oukitel k6000 plus and the charge speed na die but during and after charging, u fit Fri egg on top the phone. So I don't really see the umidigi as being hot.

But the fast charging made sense sha. That 30mins means a whole lot to some. Just me thinking aloud

these are my observations after the OTA update on my Umidigi One
1. The discharge rate is greatly improved, I started using my phone around 4:10am (when it was fully charged) to 2:05pm and I still had 5% on the battery.

2. The charge rate reduced, before the OTA update my phone takes about 1hr 30mins to charge from 0 to 100% but know I think it takes approximately 2hrs to charge.

3. Hotness while charging, my Umidigi One use to get considerably hot while charging but after the OTA update the hotness has reduced very well.

I will like to thank Umidigi for the OTA Update, initially I was a bit upset because after the update it took about 4hrs to charge my phone, I think a restart of the phone fixed that.

with this OTA update Umidigi has proven that it is a responsive and responsible company that is very ready for business, because before the OTA update we saw a couple of complains of Umidigi One/pro having issues as a result of overnight charging.

Gbam, this is so on point. Thanks for this awesome review, I believe all umidigi one users can testify that this is 100% correct. Next step for me is to do a full shut down and restart to get everything back on track.

Eh!!! Abeg I no want dia OTA update again o. I better live with the hotness while charging to get my full charge under 1 hour than to charge for 4hours without hotness. If na joke make una stop am o. Even a phone without fast charge sef no dey pass 2hours to reach 100%

Bros no be joke oh. Phone plugged for almost 4hrs and e still dey 87%. This is getting scary

6hrs 30mins SOT on a 3000mah battery is awesometastic , time to sleep. I'll do the charge test tomorrow and know if the 1hr 20mins threshold has been broken.

I noticed a better increase in battery life. Before, using my phone for 30 minutes would have taken more than 10%
