lol. Nigerians! You didn't even ask why I want to buy tecno or infinix, moreover everyone has his/her own choices. I am getting the phone because that is what my bro wants. He uses samsung, I too.

Why are people making recommendations outside OP's choice, he specifically stated his preference in brands here and he gave his reasons. Make una no confuse unaselves as stated by OP

No they're not. Depending on location, orders will still be dispatched till Wednesday next week. I believe we got ours early cos we're closer to the sorting hub in ikeja, so people like myself who stay in yaba will definitely be amongst the first to get.

So chill u guys are safe.

Mizik come how many orders u make sef, make we know the range and the number we order...

Sgbate:

Lexusgs430:
I don't think it would return at that price....... But never say never......

Umidigi's stock is sold out in Nigeria, of the Umidigi One 3/32...... Let's see if they intend to send more stock from China....

They better do cos I have people already lined up to but. I was impressed with what I say today at least in terms of aesthetics, performance will be another contributing factor which am eager to explore. And if it passes the test then they have a new disciple.

For now xiaomi still holding my heart

lilmax:
lol Nigerians do not conduct research before they do something, as far its popular its good .....I pray it changes though.... imagine 80k for tecno ....

It's unfortunate but true. OP let me ask a small question what exactly do you want In a phone. Maybe that will give better hint as to what you really want and then recommendation can e made based on that.

A word of advice though. Don't limit urself to a brand. That way ur options are broader and you might just be wowed by what you can get in the end.

My 2 Kobo. Cheers

Lexusgs430:
Mizik and co, don buy am finish .....

Bro tell Umdigi to restock the Umdigi One mbok. The gospel is spreading very fast oh....

Lexusgs430:
I believe my reward in heaven is getting bigger....... Hopefully, it might also include 7 virgins ........

For ur mind abi? No worry I go report you to madam

Lexusgs430:
This price cut is from the Umidigi's official Jumia store......... Are they trying to make a statement ?.......

But lexusgs430 Umdigi should make you an in-country rep cos you do more adverts for them than their whole naija team put together.

Too bad some brands have no idea what brand management is all about. When Dem begin make money now. Dem go give Wizkid endorsement deal while the people who paved the way are thrown to the sidelines.

SMH for our business environment

Hopez456:
wow congrats bro.

Thanks boss

Lexusgs430:
We feel privileged to see phone before Madam ........

Yes oh. Na she dey first check package and make her choice first. U can manage whatever is left hahahahahaha

Lexusgs430:
Umidigi One Pro banner at launch.....

Do not have Umidigi One's banner........

It's even ₦55,500 but Umdigi One is a steal cos it's still same specs less a lil screen and less 32 rom. Menh I can leave with that for the price

Toluene15:

Lexusgs430:

Bad Belle Bros, askor oh lolz

Lexusgs430:
The price of this Umidigi One, is the cheapest in the whole world........

I could only attribute it to overstocking or a pricing mistake......

We'll make the pricing mistake continue. Got a text my Umdigi One will be delivered today .

NB: my device just got delivered. Lexusgs430 ntooor Dem no cancel am oh. Very sleek and compact too, smaller in size to most phones these days, gives you the iPhone feel lolz and Dem dash me lifebuoy soap to bath with, how nice of Dem.

Review after madam sees it.

NiyiOmoIyunade:
If you must, you can introduce a telecomms power supply unit (charger) e.g Emerson or Huawei for extra current at the boost charge phase.

Those telecomms power supply units can put out 40a to 60a and they cost about 25k max second hand. They will assist your batteries to get to absorb faster and then your inverter can now finish the job.

Got mine at 13k then but the thing na power hugger oh. My prepaid meter suffer that period. Before I changed to Sterling Power Ultra Charge, which I use at 25% set capacity

samnaija:
harmattan is gradually creeping on us in Lagos. harvest is affected. one has to be careful of their discharge rate. woke up by 3 am this morning my charge controller was indicating red.
panic mode1 activated. what could have discharged my batteries to 48v this early. . offed the system, fault detection mode2. activated . searching for fault, checked all inverter equipment passed.. room by room surveillance activated and scanning of gadgets.
using my ninjastic and analytic skills acquired from my grandmasters on this forum, I knew I would get the culprit ,its a matter of time.
one room left to scan on the ground level, as I used my crunching tiger crawling method to move closer to the room my senses indicated a presence nearby.
all censors indicated that this presence was responsible for the heavy discharge of my 48v system.
. battle mode activated 5.
has I was about opening the door to the room, my censors could not pick and signals anymore. but my inner ninjastic skills new the presence was there.
swinging the door open all lights and gadgets were switched off. moving closer to the TV noticed it was warm and still glowed in the dark.
I knew I had cornered the culprit. with one last visual scan of the parameters the culprit or presence were hiding behind the couch.
I shouted you!...

it turned out to be, my kids were watching TV from last night till this morning. this holiday period I go advice everybody here be vigilant kids they have no mercy for inverter installations. .cheers!

This got m cracked up this morning. Thanks for sharing boss. Had to change the settings on my 50" LG TV to maximum eco mode and got a 23watts reading on my meter, at medium it was 47watts, minimum was almost 80watts and with no eco mode it was doing 123watts .

So for this with kids or people always in the house watching TV. Use the eco mode function and save urself some headache.

NB: Thanks to Alejob for the initial share

it's most likely they will cancel it. read about so many of these on the xiaomi thread.

The 3gb 32gb variant of the Redmi note 6 pro that was on promo then were all fulfilled. Only some of the 4gb 64gb variant were cancelled, mine inclusive.

But just got a mail from Jumia now the Umdigi One has been shipped. So no cancellation lolz. Waiting to see the baby
