My brother I pray so too oh. Just ordered the umdigi one for madam. Was eyeing the umdigi one pro. But the specs are same apart from the memory size, a 32gb memory card will do nicely with a hybrid sim adapter I think am go to go.... grin

I must confess, my Umidigi A3 charger is stlll in the box.... So possibly might blow too upon use......

There's a secret with chargers, always make sure ur chargers are connect to an outlet that has surge protection. That way u always have steady voltage coming in, even our cheap chargers can last quite a while if well handled not minding that it's inferior.

So follow this steps: Refrain from using small generators or any generator for that matter with flunctuating current, attach a surge guard or protector to ur extension or use an extension with inbuilt surge protection.

And most importantly, ur voltage stabilizer is not a surge protector.

They added cheap chargers to compensate for the low price of the phone, simple business strategy. Same way xiaomi doesn't ship fast chargers even when their phones does QC. Lolz

Sorry about that, factory defects are prevalent with any product. Maybe your unit is one of such.

Next time be sure of the workmanship level of a repairer before handing your device for repairs.

MODIFIED: Just seeing your comment on your power bank with swollen battery, am 90% sure it is the culprit of your phone charging issue

Are you saying it's the power bank or an unregulated charger. Cos the swelling is a sign of unregulated overcharging. I'm pretty sure the power bank can regulate charge output.

Get the celbro 8in1 dual USB charger. Covers 95% of phone type. So far u're not using an oppo. And pls a word of caution to most phone users, pls avoid fluctuating I better pass my neighbour generators, those things are charger and phone killers. Cheers

Let me take a look at it.

Celbro still remains my best budget charger. With it you can never go wrong, if you don't have an oppo phone. I would suggest you stick with it. And it's like 2 chargers in one MTK pump express and QC on 3-12v on one side and a regular fast charge of 5v 2.4a on the second USB slot
