CareerRe: Can I Start All Over In Life? by Saintbusco1(m): 11:28am On May 18, 2020
piyoo91:
Is it too late for a single 33years old to start all over again in pursuit for his dreamt career in life? I.e,going back to school to pursue a career in medicare
if I tell you to start pursuing a degree from writing jamb to admission stress at age 33 doesn't mean I can do it either...

This is why I am of the opinion that some motivatioal speaker/writer cannot make heaven... Even when they cannot drink a tea spoon they can give you 99 reasons to be taking alcohol 4 times in a day...

Especially if you are a single lady and you can read and write, don't consider pursuing a degree instead purse your own steady income & family... People who acquire a degree at an old age are usually people with income & family men/women...

You can always acquire a degree at any point in time

No, stamp duty charges started in March or April.
as much as I agree with you... But UBA and Firstbank own too much unlike the rest banks

Nope, it was more pronounced during the Covid lock-down till date ..
then let's say they are recovering the money they donated because there have been stamp duty and FIP before Covid 19 and they don't charge us like this before

Maxymilliano:
UBA is notorious for such incessant and provoking deductions.

I get debit alerts of N50 stamp duty like 3-4 times daily.

This morning alone, I've been debited same amount eight times with no satisfactory response from their customer care agents.
was it really like that before the Covid 19?
CareerShare Your Stamp Duty, FIP Charges And Other Ways banks Are Extorting You by Saintbusco1(op):
Good morning dear Nairalanders... I am really uncomfortable with how my bank have been charging me since this Covid 19 period...

I don't know of other banks but I think UBA and Firstbank in particular have been extorting me and my brother through FIP charges, Stamp duty etc... These charges became worse ever since they donated to the federal government, imagine I moved 30k to my bro's UBA account and before I got to a nearby atm machine (within 10mins) 180naira have been deducted

If I receive money on my Firstbank account, before I get to withdraw it sometimes 300naira will be deducted (300,100,50,26,10 etc that's how they charged me)

To make matter worse, if you lodge complain their customer care, they will try justify the charges telling you it's federal government/CBN directives, I know they have a point but it's unbearable

Am I really alone on this or it's general?

Anyways a friend is recommending Access Bank for me... I really hope Access is worth it, this is final between me and Firstbank... Am dumping them

I heard the 36 states government had a meeting today and resolved to extending the present lockdown for another two weeks.

How will the state and federal government cushion the effects of the lockdown?

If this is true, I dont see people obeying to this due to the hunger in the land.

Life is really hard indeed. Nothing good comes my way. Everything I try doing doesn't seems to work for me

My clothes is not up to three. I hardly feeds daily

Living in this wicked world is like a lifetime jail sentence

I'm cursed and I know that
Iron man... You have more than enough reasons to be grateful to God...

Firstly, you said nothing good comes your way remember you have phone, some people cannot afford one, + you even have data on your phone, to some people your are living large

Secondly, you said your clothes ain't up to three remember mad people don't change clothes

Thirdly... You said living in this world is like living in jail just remember you have home, some people did not have where to lay their head

+ some people are in the hospital paying for the air they breath in but you get yours free of charge ... You have enough reason to stay alive bro... Live life before you leave life

I don't know if this is a cheap mindset but i don't usually greet random people twice.

When I greet random people and they did not reciprocate but rather profess deaf and dumb probably waiting for me to greet again, thou i do felt ignored but I will just tell myself please just move on

I want to hear how people feel or what they say in silence when they greet people and they didn't answer them
