Pukkah:The best form of victory is the one that is achieved without bloodshed. ~ Pukkah Absolute intelligence. But on Nigeria must talk. Who and who are really ready to talk and abide by the agreements of the talk. Are we going to invite the two-faced leaders already that we have to do the talking? These greed leaders have tendency of putting their selfish interest first before the people. If this talk will occur what will be discussed is it peaceful co-existence (I don't see it coming)? With reference to the recent ACF congress in Kaduna, where most of the key players were not present, the people present do not represent the opinion of the entire people of the north especially the middle belt. Or is it separation (I don't think it will be easy without some gunshots fired)? We already know how difficult it is to fight a war, the people of the East know more about this; I doubt if any man from the East is interested in fighting a war so as to be independent. One thing is definite, this union is coming to an end soon. The more violence we have, the more it continues. |

Pertinent Questions! Why was this news carried by a foreign media(Senegal, Dakar) with no corresponding information from any Nigerian media? Is this PR laundering? Is Senegal now the PR laundering centre fro West Africa? Pour Quoi?! |
i retrieve my comments based on the reasons on the comment on another thread. This OP is kolomental case reference comments |
Dominance is in human nature, growth is in human nature, why should the Igbo man be criticised for working towards making himself better. Does working hard turn out to be greed? I think the only place I might be negative is in going to a persons house to dominate him/her. However, with the entity called Nigeria giving every man or woman of the country equal right to exist anywhere and make a living, then the Igbo man has the right to seek growth(in the tribal sense domination). |
[s]threat: complete rubbish i must say. @OP, bleep death. A man dies once, if you marry this girl you'll die many times before your real death[/s] |
where are all these rubbish coming from? and why now? |
This picture would make a great statue [s](if international experts are contracted to mold and raise it )[/s] in Enugu. We do not need foreign design, we can do it ourselves. We are able and capable. |

mbulela:What made Mike Ashely search for investment? Isn't it debt? Where were all the revenue generated? Why was there lots of player turnover in Newcastle? Let's look at the owners of Manchester United and Liverpool; why are they so hungry to search for investments outside the shores of UK? A few months ago, MANU went to Malayasia/Indonesia(not sure which country but I am sure it is one of them) in search of investment. Liverpool owners are highly indebted to banks that they decided to go look for a co-investor from the Middle East. mbulela, I am into business and I am high wired in the profession. 3SC and other Nigerian clubs are a good investment on a long term as far as we improve on our democracy. We need to believe in ourselves. |
I am not in support of governments running football clubs, its pure business. What annoys me is that a faceless Nigerian group of entrepreneurs represented by NVA was ready to dole out £350m (€410m or NGN88b) to Mike Ashley for the sale of Newcastle United. Everyday our politicians are abroad searching for investments; yet there are lots Nigerians capable of moving this country to greater heights if only they can invest in our own people. |
I think this should be political and sports as well. Nigeria club Shooting Stars disbanded by government due to mounting financial billsI am really saddened by this news. When Newcastle was in debt, some Nigerian mob were available for rescue. Yet we find it very difficult to rescue our own. Take a look at the debt 160million Naira (€744,954), this by far less than what a club in the EPL will pay to sign a single player. |

^^^ what has he done? Have considered what his death could do? Many will thing Becomerich's idea is wackie, but some how this idea might lead to healing of the divide amongst us. Even if it is not national burial, he should be given respect just as every politician in Nigeria is doing at his death. How about name a military division after him. Or naming a major expressway leading from the north to the east as Biafra Express. I never asked for insults, just contributing my two shots to this idea. |
Portugal 'sells' Ronaldo to Spain in £160m deal on national debt Weighed down by debt, and reeling from the latest downgrading of their country's credit status, Portugal's finance ministry has secured the co-operation of football's highest-paid player in an audacious bid to draw the nation back from the brink of economic collapse. In a move which some observers claimed "will lead to the destruction of the World Cup", Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to "act like a patriot" and be sold to neighbouring Spain for €160m more |
borrow $100million from France to buy buses made in EU. The most perfect idea. Yet Innoson and Anamco are producing buses. Why can't the government plan with these two companies? |

Excuse me! This issue of home state workers and sacking of non-home state workers has become very stuuuupiiid, i most say. During state creation Anambra/Enugu in the 90s, I recall that people from Enugu in the new Anambra civil service relocated to Enugu while the Anambra people relocated to Awka. I recall my dad was in the civil service in Awka prior to the state creation; he was relocated to Enugu while we(my mum, me and my siblings) remained back in Onitsha. When the separation was to difficult to maintain, we had to move to our villa in Enugu state (30 mins drive from Enugu metropolis) so that my dad could focus on his work and family at the same time. My mum had to apply for transfer as well so as to continue her teaching profession in Enugu state. Everyday, our politicians come up with the idea of removing state of origin from our constitution. Yet even in Enugu, teachers(Enugu State natives) with lots of experience where asked to move to their LGA of origin. [s]To remain in the state capital you will not become a Head Master or Head Mistress since it is not your LGA of origin.[/s] I think this was later changed. Furthermore, wives of non-indigenous Federal civil service workers (aka Federal-wives or Federal-husbands) were also having issues with their employment with state civil service. Where am I heading to with this argument? I was born in Anambra, in fact I was born very close to Omambara River(Anambra River); I consider myself an Anambra man more than Enugu man. Even though I am not into civil service, I think it is high time we did away with this discrimination attitude under the guise of state of origin. We should be looking forward to a more united front, so as to encourage private businesses and development in our states. |
