LEXYLOV: Whatever the case it might be, they should try and sort it out in a very meaningful way that will serve the interest of peace and stability of the state and the nation as a whole, rather than causing an unnecessary ethnic tensions. For those igbos who are praying for the nation separation, let me ask you this. Do you think if Nigeria have to divide today, are you expecting Edo, Niger delta to be among your states? or are you dreaming of any SS state to be among your so called awaiting biafra nation? you must be joking if that is your expectation, because those mentioned area will never be part of biafra. And also how did you guys want to govern your tiny 4 state ? who is going to be president there ? because as far as I know all igbo wanna be president or leader by all means. You can keep Edo and lower Delta in Nigeria or Oduduwa Republic. Bayelsa is still in debate.

Man is man, whether anointed as priest, pastor, imam, dibia, witch(witch for Jesus, harry potter witch, merlin witch or warri witch) etc, all are human.
They should not be worshiped but they should be accorded same respect you give to any man. If they are messing up with people, they should face the consequences. |

rubbish, there is no sentiments in law. the man is an armed robber who threaten traders with a knife so as to have their goods. hungry r not, the an should be charged with robbery and assault.
Do not judge me based on sentiments but we must use our heads. What we should ask ourselves, is if everyone is hungry and decides to go to a shop and rubs the shop to fill the stomach. What will the entire society turn into? |

I hope you have Death Analyst in your organisation. At least the DA will take statistics of the dead and ensure that it is evenly distributed along ethnic and religious lines. |

Kobojunkie: Are you suggesting that before Boko Haram came to the scene, Nigeria was devoid of crimes such as the one you described up there? Come one now. This is the same country where hundreds are senselessly killed by armed robbers on our express roads, each year, in some of the most brutal manners. Kobo, you really amaze with your squealing. There is crime in Nigeria, even to the most evil order. However, the pertinent thing here is, 13 men of the same ethnic origin probably same village were annihilated because they gathered together to discuss the way forward on the incessant killings of their kinsmen. This is a planned genocidal act on defenseless people, it is not armed robbery nor kidnapping. |

Politics › Re: If Almighty Uk Can Break-up Peacefully, Why Not Nigeria? by saintneo(m): 3:05am On Jan 22, 2012 |
londoner: @OP, the UK is more of a union of four countries rather than just one country like Nigeria.
England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales all have SEPARATE parliaments and prime ministers already. Each country has their own flag and there is also the UNION JACK, which is the flag of the UK. I know I dont need to remind you of the troubles between Ireland and England, it has been far from peaceful.
It is not the same as the set up in Nigeria.
David Cameron is offering a referendum, yes, but it is just for show. He knows that less than half of Scots want to separate anyway so he knows already that the possibility of them voting to be independent is unlikely.
He is calling their bluff in other words. N. Ireland, Scotland and Wales all have SEPARATE parliaments and First Minister. |

I have no respect for the officers that took part in the first coup plot in Nigeria, and I will never have any respect for them. Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna, etc, to me they were stewpid young men who taught the world was theirs at the time.
These stewpid boys caused all the issues Igbo's are facing today.
Vision or no vision, Nzeogwu is a cold-blooded murderer. Anyone that praises his vision is blind. |

I had a similar experience in Ikotu. People were struggling to board a bus, then a woman knocked over, into a gutter. Ppl were standing-by and shouting, I just couldn't stand and watch. I jumped into the gutter and lifted her out. The other people came to her rescue with pure water and hand fans.
Felt good, boarded a bus, and fought to pay. . . lol! |

sinistyle: Why should Keshi be allowed to analyze for Super Sport? We are supposed to be sober from missing AFCON and Keshi going on to do punditry work for Super Sport will only go on to portray us as unserious or how else do you think we'd be seen by the rest of the world when our chief coach is seen analyzing on TV?
This is the same Keshi that has waxed lyrical about incorporating home based players into the eagles set up and I've heard that the league is resuming next month. A serious Keshi should be busy scouting talents across the country. Infact, Keshi is unserious. i think you should make mournful jersey for super eagles and nigeria in general. keshi has the right to do what he loves. scouting for local eagles is his job but it shouldnt stop him from participating in other footy events. |

JamesDoe: No problem,
If a landlord wants N100 as rent he will collect N100.
The tenant will have to pay Fashola N5.
Or else the rent becomes N105 and the tenant deducts his N5 to give to Fashola. Leaving the Landlord with N100.
A tax on tenants! GBAM! I wonder how tax is calculated in Lagos. |
