Let's say Atiku lose the election. It's more his disadvantage because whoever wins may not likely give him appointment. At the same time he can't defect to another political party.
So it's foolishness for him to run anti party show. As it is his popularity is waning in Rivers State. The trend will continue until the general election.
If I were Atiku I would keep quiet and watch him lost steam and come begging. This is so because Wike needs PDP more than PDP needs him.
If him strong make him defect make we see. |

Coldie: Nigerian products are expensive. Nigeria is seating on a time bomb, if we don’t get our shit together we won’t have a country, this country is being destroyed before our eyes.
Nigeria has gotten so bad that African stores abroad are beginning to either reduce or stop selling Nigerian products, they now prefer to source it from other African countries except for those ones that can’t be sourced there.
U can’t believe that cost of food is more expensive in Nigeria than the uk, despite the fact that uk pay is 100times Nigeria pay, with all the hardship, cost of food, u still have to use the small wage u get that’s remaining to buy fuel, pay security dues in ur street, contribute to fix ur road plus police would stop u on the road and try to extort u, not to talk of efcc raiding ur house destroying your properties because they thought without any form of investigation that u are a yahoo boy.
An attorney general was sacked for exposing what cbn governor exposed too that made them dethrone him. This government is setting the next administration up for failure, they have diminished our reserves, they have borrowed from almost every country in the world so much that no country is giving us loan again, nigerua economy is so much in ruins that right now there’s an oil boom going on as a result of the Ukraine/Russia war but our economy has been destroyed so much that we can’t even feel it.
Education system failed Economy failed Security failed Basic amenities failed Currency failed Even technology that people were depending on they are about to destroy that sector, police and efcc can arrest u or raid your house just because u are into tech, not to talk of the fact that FG keeps increasing tax on the sector everyday, in developed countries to improve innovation the government is trying its best to make data as cheap as possible, it’s as a result of this cheap data that makes these countries musicians and artists have huge views on music platforms, but ours no planning no nothing, just thief as much money as u can and leave whatever problem that it would cause to the next administration.
People are seeing all these things and with their senses instead of supporting the best to take us out of this situation they are trying to support candidates based on selfish interest when finally 90% of them won’t even benefit from the government You raised very frightening points but as truth as it is we've got to try our best |

Ruke1989: Older & well established businesses have more supplier chain and distributor network. They can access raw materials at far cheaper prices because suppliers gives them better discount when they buy more raw materials and make regular bulk payment than the newer startups. In essence, Infinix, techno, Samsung has power to negotiate cheaper prices than imose because they have far more supplier network and buy more bulks of raw materials than imose. They even have the technical know-how to produce any parts themselves than imose who employ inexperienced local graduates
Two, electricity is very cheap in china than most countries of the world and that affects production cost. That's partly why Infinix, techno and Chinese products are generally cheaper than American products where electricity and raw materials are costlier
Three, china is supplier of raw materials to the electronic industry. If you produce phone in Nigeria, you will import the raw materials from china to Nigeria. We don't have chip companies in Nigeria, we don't produce IC in Nigeria. The cost of importation will be factored into your production cost. A company in china or US doesn't have to import everything because the chipsets are produced locally so the cost of production is lower than producing in Nigeria
Multiple taxation is killing businesses in Nigeria. That's not obtainable in other countries. For example, you heard telecom operators cry out over 5% excise duty tax. Their cry was sequel to the fact they already pay 38 different kind of taxes to 9ja govt. The masses chose bad politicians but end up blaming companies for high cost of things. It's myopic. We are angry at mtn high call rate or data rate. The fact is govt is the problem.
Govt laws don't favor businesses in Nigeria. Chinese govt intentionally provide free shipping service to companies to encourage export driven economy for example. Nothing like that here. Our govt is impulsive and they are in the habit of strangulating local companies regularly. Try set up a shop in your local hood, within a month, before you make your first sale, you will be visited by more than 6 govt agencies in your state for taxes and levies. After that you fuel your gen throughout the month and pay federal tax, personnel tax, etc. You will pass it on to the clients to stay afloat in business My brother you do well explain the thing well well for me. I no too blame them |

Epurogonogono:
Wow, I never knew there was a Nigerian made phone .
The reason I think it's expensive with such low quality is probably because some (or all) parts used to make the phone might be imported, another reason might be because of the lack of quality electricity in Nigeria, with makes producers seek alternatives, with are also expensive.
There might be other factors, but these are the main factors I can think of right now. Maybe you are right |

Am sure most NLanders are not aware that Nigeria makes android phones. I didn't know it until today. A neighbor has a new Imose Android phone her husband gifted her the previous day. The lady has been struggling to open a new Facebook account unsuccessfully so in a bit to assist her decided check the cost and the android version of the phone. https://www./imose-gidi-2-smartphone-133334796.htmlI was surprised to know that the phone has 16GB ROM, 2GB RAM, 6'' in size. I now check the cost online on Jumia, I was surprised to see that the phone is N51,000. A phone whose originating country is Nigeria. I continue checking other phones within the same price range. The following are some of them 1 SAMSUNG GALAXY A03 CORE 2. TECNO Pop 4 BDC1 3 NOKIA C10 4. ITEL À37 5. NOKIA C1 I purposely listed the above phones for a reason. Now who is in his right sense would bring out N51,000 to buy Imose Android phone that has its originating country as Nigeria with such poor quality and leave our the better quality foreign made android phones such as SAMSUNG, TECNO, ITEL, INFINIX, NOKIA etc Some Nigeria will say its economic sabotage not to patronize your country made good's and services but will one compromise quality? The same thing happened with rice before 2014 a bag of 50KG Rice was N8000.00 so government said we will stop the importation of rice to grow the economy and a bag of rice today is over N30000. Rice that was produced in Nigeria more expensive than the foreign made. Nigeria, it's well. |

I bought NOKIA C10 from SLOT Nigeria in PH on June this year. With the initial deposit of N30k, spread the balance for 6months which translated to Ñ2,870.74 monthly remittance. Their interest is 0.3% that means I will pay the sum of N6k added to the actual cost of the phone. As at the time of purchase of the phone the price was N41,900. With EASY BUY, I will pay an average of N16k.
Today the cost of the phone is almost equivalent to the money I will be paying for the entire loan no thanks to the fallen value of the naira which have increased the value of the phone. A phone I bought for N41900 in June is now N46000.
As a Civil Servant I am ok with the loan |

ThrownBack: Only Tinubu urchins don't know this Even Obi can't return Nigeria to regional government single handedly. The nation was built on a faulty constitutional foundation. Few days ago Sheik Gumi said that he pities any of the incoming president. I agree with him a 1000% Not until we have a New constitution that address such issues as regional government and control of resources this nation will never move forward irrespective of who rules whether Obi, Atiku or Tinubu. |
