Kudos to SR & PT for your great service to Nigerians. For those making senseless defence, u are not doing GEJ or ur tribe any good. I know the pains (physical & mental) it caused me before earning a masters from SA. It upsets me seeing someone claiming MBA from USA. |
Imagine a whole minister, no wonder foreign institutions give Nigerians strigent measures for certificate verification. Do we now blame them? Mods, can this latest development also be moved to the front page PLEASE! |
SaharaReporters and Premium times are surely the best thing to emerge from Nigeria lately. I envy them for having smart and hardworking pple in thier companies. Pls dont stop at Oduah. Like Oliwer Twist, Nigerians are begging for more! |
The minister shd not have started her conversation with that phrase. Thats too personal for a formal setting like that. |
thread is just too funny. This is how politics shd be played....using wit and humour. I av a feeling PDP will make this game violent. |
good development. That said, I expected d president to ask for d team dt designed this craft for special acknowledgement. questions such as cost & source of materials & possibility of mass prodtn shd av been asked, when d officer requested for questions. I wld av loved to see Mr president take a pix wit dt craft cos this can surely motivate Nigerian creativity. But d dull pple he is surrounded wit only train him to make enemies. SMH |
congrats to Rochas. One of the few detribalized politicians from the east. May you be granted wisdom to lead the affairs of d forum to bring more devpt to respective states. |
it is condemnable and must be discouraged. Apologies shd be made to premium times (our home based sahara) . |
Some guys are not entirely getting Chinedu's position. His words have done more damage to our president more than the ex-president. The guy does not have confidence in Jonathan at all. |
Very good of you OP for having ur own mind and being objective. My grudge with PDP is that they have taken Nigerians for a ride enough. Im giving APC a trial in 2015 at d feds, but I dont wish PDP to be completely dead in my region (SW), inorder for us to show APC out when they fumble. |
Good one there Chinedu, we agree that the letter was correct and OBJ is also culpable. But should we not deal with the serious issues rather than wasting time assessing OBJ's credibility? BTW that house on Goodluck street, Yenagoa is grossly undervalued it can never be 15m even @ 2007. Entering the compound practically translate u from Bayelsa to Beverly hills. I once lived on dt street. |
Your (OP) attempts @ inciting tribal animosity and justification of theft have been quite obvious in d article. The question = is oil theft also prevalent in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Venezuela, Angola? Why is Nigeria the country that comes to the mind of illicit dealers when seeking to buy stolen oil? The embarrasing height at which the national resource is being stolen is only because of bad leadership. PERIOD! |
Happy married life. Congrats u now have a good story to tell. But please STOP cursing in your movies! You shd make movies watchable by children and decent adults. You are funny though. Cheers. |
The people covering up this act are as guilty as the murderers themselves. God bless saharareporters for revealing evil in our society. This must be properly investigated and justice served. |
It seems Ngige is d man to beat in this contest. It saddens me when 'leaders' turn to reckless/divisive statements to score cheap political points. I would have simply made up my mind to vote Ngige, unfortunately Im not from Anambra. |
Jimmy Boy: They better review their businese model, because Nigerians spend heavily on clothes.I dont agree with this statement, having seen the way south africans buy clothes in these shop. |
Im so sure PEP and Mr Price will be under immense pressure as well. Foreign clothing outfit is not meant for Nigeria. Large no (poor) of nigerians buy 'bend down' or frm emeka's shop. People also send clothes to their own from abroad. And generally we love our traditional wears, unlike south africans that get all their wears frm those stores. It is not everything that will sell in Nigeria! |
The ijapa story aptly describe the scenario, where all animals pledged to kill & eat their mothers due to famine, but ijapa hid his own mother while feasting on others' We have seen d collective effort of Yorubas is discouraging corruption, though need to do more: 1. SM Afolabi- jailed 2. Bode- jailed 3. Tafa - jailed 4. Iyabo- dismissed 5. Bankole- dismissed 6. Etteh- dismissed 1. Stella - rewarded with pilgrimage? Haba! Igbos present your own looter for us to roast now! |
After being an onlooker for a while, I had to write on this sensible post. Its only people living (or that lived) outside this nation can understand that the world is leaving Nigeria behind. Tribalism sucks: where people cannot catch an ordinary thief because she is our 'sister' |
Mr Edward has done this country a great service. He is not only a natinal but an internatinal hero. He shd come out and stand by his action and conscience. It might be painful temporarily but ur action will pay off @ d long run. Mr Edward if u are reading this; pls know dt I am PROUD of u... (& so are sensible Nigerians) |
The president also got it wrong...Syria's war is nt by extremist as claimed by our president. They are figthing a civil war there, calling the opposition extremists means Nigeria supports Al Asad. So is d US givin support to 'extremists' since they are giving weapons to d oppostion. Mr president shd be careful wit his speech or he shd just fire his aides. CALLING SYRIA's OPPOSITION EXTREMIST IS JUST WRONG. |
deep words. Worthy of reflection. More writers on public issues are surely needed in this country. I have always known that Nigerians value lives of foreigners more than themselves. Imagine, citizens dying in such horrifying circumstances and govt is just moving on as if nothing happened. |
tpacalipse: The truth of the matter is that some primary school pupils are better than all our politicians all combined. And I have a strong belief that corruption can make a brilliant soul go retarded.thats true, thought I was d only one in this school of thought. |
And Obama shd leave what Americans elected him to fix and come fix ur Nigeria that u are elected to fix? What a funny utterance filled with low self esteem. My president, there are better diplomatic ways of saying things, sir. |
georjay: MIKEL JUST SCORED A GOAL NOW.....TO MAKE THE SCORELINE 2 - 0 AGAINST FULHAM.....SHAME TO HATERS.....And OP are d haters Nigerians? pls edit that part, makes u look dumb. How can a country be hating their own? |
There was nothing scientific abt d write up. Still wondering how Thisday could publish such. The media attention it received is an insult & indictment of Nigeria's education. |
im really sorry for this guy, d teachers, d school and d newspaper. There is absolutely nothing scientific in this presentatn. Okay wc carries d +ve charge man or woman; sperm or oocyte. This shd not be celebrated, come up with something deep son. |
Figures for poultry prdtn can be obtained frm hatcheries by d govt but records can be difficult for cattle, since its mainly extensive prdtn in Nig. We cant stop eating pomo until d leather industry comes with a competitive price 4 its raw material. |
Takin records of livestock is done by govt world over. E.g 300 million turkeys are killed in d USA annually. SA also has number of all species on dr dept of agric site. So naija shd not be an exception. |
