Yorubas don't fight like Spartacus in war or in a fight challenge, the ending is so predictable and the story line is so tacky - A bad replica of "the woman king" movie.

Femi Adebayo, dressing like a roman king, which I found so alien - should not have acted that part - Chatta or Lalude could have been spot on.

Wars were fought like Romans army with swords. Yorubas used charms to fight in their wars.

All in all, for me:

Story Line - 20%

Visual Effect - 65%

Anikulapo movie still remains distant number 1.

Yorubas used both spiritual and physical weapons, stop misleading people. You are entitled to your other opinion (eg casting, costume)

Yorubas were always modernizing their army. They used charms, swords and guns. Even used canons during the kiriji wars (some still standing till today). Jagun jagun deserves commendation don't mind the fake historian.

As much as I enjoyed your post and documented experience, however I think the west (particularly UK and US) remain the most friendly to the Black people. We can all see the sizeable representation in many works of life (e.g. sports, education, economy).
Being a friendly nation is more than just smiling at people but giving opportunity to them where it matters.
I'm happy many nations are becoming more inclusive these days.

Please guidance to opening an account (Monzo or Starling bank) in the UK for student and dependant is needed. What documents are required to complete the process? I do not have proof of residence (arrived less than a week), as I am living with a relative.

From a park at Ibadan, take a Lagos bus that passes Ojota (Lagos). Drop at Ojota park (the driver will probably drop you at Total filling station), trek a bit forward and take a yellow bus to Maryland (N100 or N200 due to fuel scarcity). Drop at that Maryland bustop, trek a bit forward to the 1st turning on the right. Take a yellow bus going to Ikeja (probably N200) tell the driver to drop you at Abule busstop. You will see a big brown building with people mingling around on the first turning after dropping from the bus. That's your destination.

I dont have an idea about a cheap hotel. I slept at a friend's place a day before my appointment.

I got my confirmation on the day of biometric that’s like 6 days after making payment. However they don’t seem to need the receipt anyway cos it was not checked by their staff. They have it on their system.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we couldn't fund the account for POF until the 11th of November. The CAS deadline is the 25th (Friday) and the funds are not yet matured (28days).

Depends on your study duration. actual amount will be calculated for you on their website when you fill in your course start and end date. There is also a section on UKVI website that can give you an idea even before you start filling your application.

According to UK rule: she cannot be your sponsor. 3 options are given:
1. money in your account
2. money in your spouse's account or
3. money in your parent's account.

However, you can mention her name cos they will ask if you have a relative in the UK when filling your application form

Thanks for the comment Duchess but my experience is quite different.
You will not pay for walk-in as long as you are booked same day. I did early this week for family of four. You will all go inside same time i.e. 12noon in your case (the person whose time is the earliest). All the application will be done same time. The main applicant will have to go to each section with all the applications while the remaining members of your team chill and keep a close watch on you. All the best.

They must have gotten NSF first, even if empty.

Yes please. Follow the same process. When you get to the visa payment page, your fees will be calculated for you. The person making payment can log in at this time.

Yes. The person needs your application password to log in and make payment. This is after you have answered all questions on the IHS page.

I don’t understand the meaning of lump sum. Should every transaction above 200, 500k or 1m be explained, even if it doesn’t have any influence on the required minimum amount needed to show as proof.

Please, I need your advice on the question "Do You Have Any Family Member in the UK?"

My wife has a half-brother in the UK. But the problem is they are not in talking terms, you know how most polygamous family run. I even wanted to declare it but we don't have any information about him apart from his name. We don't know his address, whether he's citizen or PR, or any thing about his stay there. We dont even know if he is still in the UK or has relocated. He is someone I have never met or spoken to before. So, I'm confused how to answer the question please.

Say No because they will ask for the address.
