options available
1, go to computer village,buy the cd, use the key on it, call microsoft and give them the license key, if ur lucky they will give u the activation code
2, find an oem machine with win 7 on it, turn it upside down and copy the license key der and install the same version of the os on the system(mostly win 7 home premium)
3,,find the crack and activate
wen ur done, disable ur update as ur update will install windows genuine advantage on ur sytem and it will de-validate ur activation

first of all,check if ur using the software speedup my computer, if u r,uninstall it in safemode,
yes,ur ram is running high, meaning u av a lot of heavy programs running in ur comp. memory and on start up, to simply disable programs on startup
find the programs from sysinternal autorun or process explorer
or simply follow below instructions
click on start,for xp-click on run and type msconfig and press enter
for vista and above ,click on start,type msconfig and press enter
-window will require ur permission to continue system configuration tool--press continue
-click on selective startup
-click on services and check the box "hide all microsoft services
-now look for the program names like "bonjour service"is for itunes,yahoo updater id for yahoo msger,
-uncheck the boxes u want to stop their services
-when done,click on startup(this is for stopping the startup item that start wen ur windows come up;the icons indicated in the taskbar on the bottom right of ur screen
-uncheck all the unnecessary programs u dont need,if ur unsure, just click on disable all, windows will correct ur errors on start up
when done,click on apply,
a window will come up asking u to restart or restart later, click on restart,

wats simply wrong with ur mouse pad is "dusty".just meet a hardware technician and ask him to help u dust ur mouse pad(500naira or more)same happens with keypad as well(u may experience that some keys wont work)
anoda cause may be virus, u may also re-install ur operating system, i sure works

first u verify its urs,
if its a login password, just find a system with vista installed on it, wen u open it .it wld say u dont have permission, just click on continue to inherit the privileges and grant u access to the my document files
if its a hard disk password,find the program dariks boot and nuke iso, or simply do a low level format,
but from wat u described,its definately a login pass, goodluck

to unhide ur desktop icons:

hi pples,
have u noticed that when u plug ur exterbal hard disk to ur dvd player with usb,it simply wont play,
here is the solution(its an old trick)but av decided to share it wit u y'all, \
simply reformat ur external hard disk as fat32
only prob is (some softwares may not support formatin a hard disk more than 30g) to fat32 ie if ur formating a 250g-1 terabyte
that is wer i come in,
find the software swissknife and use it to format any hard disk ,
wen ur done, just plug it into ur dvd player,

i hate to tell u this-u have accidentally formatted your recovery partition
2, as of the remaining 100g,the only reason u cant see it is, its unformatted(so it wont appear in your computer)
3, if your using xp,click on start----then run----type diskmgmt.msc (disk management)
4, u will see the structure of your hard disk(all the partitions)
5, for the hidden 100g(it will be written as unallocated or unformated)
6, right click on it and click on format(preferrably as ntfs)
7, choose a drive name for it after(like f: of g
when its done, open your my computer and u will see both partitions
end of story

for vista,
click on start,then run and type compmgmtlauncher.exe
then follow steps 4-end of story

This virus has eaten up some component files in that stops my antivirus form starting up!
my google chromes crashes at will and easily!

HI, ur systemd with possibly infected with the trojan: pakes 32, its deletes all executables(*.exe)and all ur programs are executables including the antivirus, u will have no luck installing or removing another antivirus,
here is the simple solution:
1.remove ur hard disk and insert in to an external harddisk casing
2.find a clean system with a strong up-to-date antivirus(kaspersky) and attach it as a removable disk
3, now scan the whole hard diskand dis-infect
4, return the hard disk into ur system and find ur xp,vista or 7 cd
5.repair ur operating system
or
1, from a clean system with a strong antivirus.(i will kaspersky as ex), make a bootable linux rescue cd(latest is rescue 10) or the flash
2, enter ur bios(depending on ur sytem), slide thru f1-f12 if u dont know the particular function key
3, set the boot priority to cdrom or usb(depending on the rescue disk u have)
4, start up ur system to start the rescue disk with ur system and scan
5, use ur xp,vista,7 cd to repair ur os
or
simply re-format(simpliest thing), but be careful to format anything u may have used with the infected sytem(flash drives,memory cards) as a simgle infected file fro any of this can return the system back to, 1

also for the idm getting stuck on 99%, its normal, the obvious problem is a timeout from the remote source meaning,
when u download from some servers like rapidshare,megaupload,hotfile, u are allocated a specific amount of time to carry out a download as a free user, wen u exceed the allocated time,it freezes like mtn wld freeze ur 10mb data plan(nothing sent,nothing received) and u cant resume unless ur a premium user, best advice,restart the download and u will be asked to wait for ?mins be4 ur allocated another slot

its very possible ur hard disk is getting defective (bad sectors), i experienced the dvd problem last wk, but immediately i changed the hard disk it started working like a charm,
also for the registry cleaner, download registry booster2, here is the licence key,

its totally harmless, when it has finished scanning, it will ask u if u want to do a full or partial backup b4 cleaning ur errors;choose partial

if u say ur bluetooth is inbuilt and not discoverable or not working, u simply havent installed the drivers,

pls apply wisdom, if some1 has just formated a system, the next tin to do is to install the drivers, so from wat the author has described ,he obviously has not installed the drivers, so pls dont confuse the author, let him just follow the simple instructions

since u dont have enuf money to purchase one, let me trade a big secret with u,
u can actually use ur fone as modem, ow?
for nokia,simply install ur pc suite,attach ur fone to pc using ur usb cable,activate ur plan(100 for 10mb with mtn etc) and click on connect
for all other fones,simply find the cd or drivers to connect the fone to ur pc thru usb
parameters are simple
user name (depends on ur network ex mtn =web)

put ur hard disk in an external hard disk casing and attch to a working computer, access it as a removable disk , if u can read it then ur hard disk is ok, and proceed with scanning it for virus and bad sectors, else,ur hard disk is corrupt,
also,bear in mind,another laptop's hard disk with xp installation will never work on our system(its subject to only the computer it was installed on,

just get the windows7 activation crack, its still new,
u must activate it before it expires, wen it does, microsoft will lock the window on u at logon

or simply get original win7 key from another computer, choose the option of calling microsoft and provide them with the key details, the will give u activation code,
best bet is the crack

Windows Media player is not giving sound i.e ceased most times till u restart b4 its sound returns.

7. Microsoft is not spared, its encountered its own problem.
8. And the big one is my Windows had been closed down to prevent it from damage.

The genesis of this problem is rooted when i downloaded "Speed up my PC" software. It said 91 files r slowing down your PC, Click to delete, of which i deleted.
Shortly after i.e 32hrs, my system shut down completely leaving a blue screen message informing me of my recent installation, dat i should pass thru SAFE MODE n uninstall it if i experience d blue screen message again OR press F8 n disable BIO-MEMORY and, which i couldn't comprehend. Of course i switched-on my system n uninstalled d software without passing thru ANY of d afore mentioned.
I thot it was over not until after a week now.

I presented my baby to an engineer. But so sad i cant afford d bills for now.
PLEASE KINDLY HELP. I'm a novice in computer maintainance, but with a heart-felt n proper guidance i can have my baby fixed as i would b instructed. THANKS N GOD BLESS.

next time,use registry booster instead of speedup my pc(they are both made by uniblue, speedup is for expert and if unnnecessarily used, wld generate all the above symptoms and an eventual blue screen.der are 2 solutions:
1, boot up the system into safe mode and restore to an earlier date ie if u have a restore point
2, do a clean format or repair the os during installation
ur antivirus cant help as ur os is already missing important files
