The governor's account is correct. The military got information that he surrendered after pleas and promises of his safety by the traditional rulers and catholic bishop in charge of Katsina-Ala LGA. The army mounted a stop and search roadblock at Yandev, Gboko, it was PLANNED. They brought him out of the car he was in (He was with the LGA chairman in the same vehicle).
They delayed the convoy while they hastily took him away as if they were bringing him to govt house. Less than 2 minutes drive from there, still on the high way, they pulled him out of the vehicle, faced him down on the road and Special Forces including Military men opened fired on him there before throwing him back to the car.

May be there is something the military or their oga do not want him to reveal.

Onitsha is a tiny city established by the Binis that is not expanding as it should.It is a very old city which had failed to grow and gain more land like Ibadan.
Onitsha is only 52 square km while Ibadan is 3,080 square km.Onitsha is just about 5 GRAs in Ibadan.We have seen this demographia thing before sha.

Ibadan is big for nothing and mind you,towns like Nkpor,Obosi,Oba, that share boundaries with Onitsha are now closely knitted to Onitsha and by extension, part of the city. Igbos developed Onitsha not Binis. Onitsha people claimed they migrated from Benin but 90% of development in Onitsha were not done by indigenous Onitsha people.

I had the same thought when I was jobless, especially when I visit my classmate that dropped out in secondary school and went for apprenticeship. As at that time,the guy had made it and was living comfortably,even dashing me money. Today,the guy is admiring me cos he hasn't even SSCE cert.

After graduation,I went into private school teaching. It was the toughest time of my life. I can't tell all that I passed through but it was hell. They would give me a load of subjects to teach. Out of the 9 periods in a day, I taught 8. At the end of the months,they would owe me on top kwa. To cut the story short,God helped me through my uncle and I got a lecturing job in one of the federal institutions in this country. I spent 3 years in the labour market.
