screenagerjoe: anybody stayin in d hostels dts nt in 100l went thru d backdoor, even mandela costs a bit for a space. Lecturers boys quarters goes for about 100k a year, those sport hostels like presidential goes for 50k for a space, others like aminu kano nd kwame nkrumah is approx 20k, so i tynk its equally xpensive. Offcampus accomodation ranges from 50k to 170k. Depends on ur pick. So its equally d same tyn. Am talking of UNIPOrT here. So u can do ur deductions urself.

otokx: You should ask your student union leaders what they do with the dues collected from students plus the money extorted from business operators in the name of matriculation, convocation, etc.

otokx: ASUU is asking government to build more hostels and classrooms but you guys do not support ASUU and now you are complaining about hostel accommodation. Please do not complain, keep renting.

otokx: The truth be told ASUU is not going to loose anything; the only students that lost are the rich ones who shunned school accommodation and went to stay in off campus apartments.

otokx: well that is a question for ASUU members to answer, the approach FG is taking appears to be faulty.

Lets assume for a minute that the lecturers are forced to teach you the student, what possible thing will you be able to learn in such environment?

dayoblacky1: I av said it earlier that ASUU president himself Nasir Fagae is a BOKOHARAM.....they want to use d strike as an avenue for them to accomplish one of thier agenda to demolish education in dis country......Most ASUU chapter from d western and eastern region want the strike to end according to thier votes but those from d north never wanted it to end......Students open ur eyes....just last week a lecturer was caught in one of the university in part of d north as a bokoharaam member.
