Kiggster: CWM for tecno n3 works on P3 but I'd advise you use the cwm for p3 since you might encounter some problems if you use tecno n3 cwm on p3.

abeg my oga,I appreciate your good work.pls my problem is while I was Manipulating some setting on my p3,I ended up deactivating my sim1, since since e'er then my sim1 is always showing insert sim. when I try to activate it from settings,it tells me that android.com stops unexpectedly. I have tried factory restore twice but it didn't solve d problem. someone said I should install a new stock tomorrow but I don't know how to go about it.please I need ur help cos it's fraustrating browsing with edge network.. thanks..

4. Just tap the toggle dns ones to allowed I.e after u tap it ones it will become "toggle dns check: 0.0.0.0 allowed"

Press back and exit...the edge or 3g symbol should appear immediately on ur phone, if u have already set ur access point to blackberry.net. if it doesn't immediately, just toggle airplane mode on and off. And it will appear.

Then u can go ahead and use any trick whatsoever (droidvpn/tweakware) to browse with mtn bis on android.

N/b
U don't need ur phone to be rooted to do this. It works on all android phones.

You guys should understand that vpn isn't a perfect substitute for MTN bis. Am using d vpn and am telling u that it's nothing compared to using only d bis. I no longer download or steam videos cos you are only entitled to 100mb bandwidth from your data. The vpn is just a temporary way for us to continue browsing since these network providers have decided to stop bis from working on android, that's why we need to join the protest thread and demand for fairness. If you are using vpn you will be very limited with what you would be able to do with your phone and that's what the service providers want.

This is not MTN, Airtel, glo, etisalat etc fault.
The networks are still not robust enough to offer larger bandwidth to subscribers.
What happen is that to maintain perculiar efficient blackberry service, RIM allow network providers to channel all data from their devices through their servers. With this, network providers are able to grant voluminous data to blackberry subscribers cos it is not passing through their servers.

Granting non-BB subscribers such data freedom officially through their servers would simply overwhemled network providers' servers and bring internet service to a crawl.

The issue can be solved if google or samsung could provide a specialized server just like that of RIM for BB, then network providers would simply channel all data from Android devices through the access point: google.com and open unlimited downloads for android devices. Simple
For now, manage with DroidVPN or any other till internet cost comes down.
