WebmastersRe: How to Spot Rogue Web Developers before giving a project by sammoe(m): 8:09pm On Oct 19, 2014
maekhel:
first of all what type of website do u want to build?
A business website for an academic services organization.
WebmastersRe: How to Spot Rogue Web Developers before giving a project by sammoe(m): 3:36pm On Oct 19, 2014
Ok. If you say so. Before I proceed though: while money isn't everything, it's quite a lot. The fact someone charges lesser than others for a job doesn't mean he's compromising on quality. This doesn't mean there are the downright ridiculous.
What I advise people /potential clients is to know a little of what is required. It helps.

NOW, my question!
I'm not a programmer and because there's virtually no budget for one. But because I know a website would really help matters especially in the coming weeks, I've decided to build one using WordPress. I feel I should be able to work my way around it. I've already contacted a hosting company and I'm satisfied with their responses.
Please, I need input as per advice in terms of possible challenges I may face. Thanks.

SportsRe: Okocha Annoying Hype by sammoe(m): 2:26pm On Oct 19, 2014
otipoju:
Good and great are not the same thing.

Okocha is a very skillfull player no doubt but is he a great player? No why because he did not amass club trophies and personal laurels.

Why did he not do so? because in spite of his outstanding skills he avoided the big teams preferring midtable clubs where he could just play regularly for good money.

That was his personal choice and I do not have anything against it.

The great players plied their trades with the biggest clubs where they win trophies and personal honours.

The way some morons reason on this forum is irritating to say the least. Displaying their inability to comprehend simple words.
Since you've written my mind, I comment my reserve!

RomanceRe: Why Do Ladies Ignore Their Male Friends On Social Networks? by sammoe(m): 7:01pm On Oct 15, 2014
aaronson:
Believe me Niqqaz,All girls crave for attention and they wear that same attitude on social media or online platform, its the truth that once you both are online she's actually dying and wishing you hit her up first just to fulfill that attention seeking hormone in them and once you do BAM!!! They would start to feel like you interested in them and wouldn't want to be quick to reply so not to look cheap or be seen as online runs girl,Nothing kills the ego of a girl faster than the silence of a guy both in reality and online,if you hit her up and no reply, ignore her,she would be so remorseful of herself,I cultivated that habit of ignoring them and after a some time I would see message like ''so you have forgotten me'' lol
Ah, I get the 'you forgot me' line a lot.

My idea is if you wanted to hear from me, why not hit me up.
Some girls need to get off their high horses.
Just sad that some guys help them get into the saddle.

All said and done, I know some awesome girls so I know there's still hope for women folk.
...and cos of guys like moi, there's still hope for the guy folk!

EducationRe: Personal experience on how to develop yourself by sammoe(m):
I agree with you. Our educational system is flawed in several ways, primarily in not being tailored towards meeting the needs of our contemporary society.

This makes the quest for self development more imperative and onerous at the same time!

OP, I commend your efforts thus far and hope you can really kill two birds with one stone i.e actually learning and getting high grades.

As a tip, you could focus on doing the needful (regular stuff) and do more intense study or self development later, probably during hols. Finding this balance is usually the bane of those who truly yearn for knowledge and seek ways to apply same.
Cheers.

Now, I'm wondering if the nature of one's thoughts could affect the colour of the brain.
