casualobserver: anybody can say you are wrong, an intelligent man will say why. Thankfully, this is not opinion, this is fact, this is mathematics, this is science. There is no opinion only fact...the figures do not lie. again look at the link I posted sort the results by percentage and you will see, if you do not see, your problem is a different problem because elections are about addition and subtraction and 1 plus 1 is always 2!!!
Most states do not matter, the states that determine the president are the number of states where you control 70% and above. its not the absolute number of voters but your percentage margin of victory.
I am sure a child understands that if you have 4 million voters in a state and you and your opponent get 2 million votes each, that state is a wash and has done NOTHING for you ...except fulfill the 25% statutory requirement!!!
when all the irrational emotion, name calling, bragging etc of electioneering is over it all boils down to a very simple and basic process.....arithmetic how many votes do you have, how many do i have, who has more...simple!!!! when you understand that you will understand that the winner emerges not because he got X million votes but because he got more votes than his opponent . The name of the game is not the number of votes but the DIFFERENCE in number of votes....difference is what makes you a winner or a loser not the absolute number of votes!!! Anyone who doesnt understand that is not ready to win an election!!!
If you win a state but it is not a big victory it is meaningless. in 2019, Borno alone wiped out PDP's victories in edo, Benue, Adamawa, Taraba, Platawu, oyo, ondo , bayelsa and FCt Akwa ibom and cross river combined!!!!!! ...thats PDP victory in 11 states and the FCT wiped out by 1 state
...and 1 of those states (plateau) actually had more votes than Borno state but it did nothing for PDP because the votes were split! so dont get carried away with absolute numbers...thats for amateurs!!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Nigerian_general_election You're very correct |

Now, a staff in the firm of Olanipekun not knowing that the case was already settled, sent a mail to the Company that they should disengage from their representative and allow Olanipekun's firm to handle it. The email from the staff also stated that Olanipekun can procure judgement for them because he is closer to the Supreme Court Justices.
Olanipekun is the Chair of the Body of Benchers (regulate legal profession in the Country, etc), so Ajumogobia petitioned the NBA who insisted that Olanipekun should step down. We never market nonsense.
16 years after, we are still not marketing Orji Uzor Kalu because we don’t believe in his abilities.
Almost 8 years after, and we are still Okorocha’s worst nightmares because he couldn’t convince us.
Since 2015 till date, we have remained Ikpeazu’s most ardent critics and will remain so.
We are not like you people.
You defended as still defend Aregbesola despite his woeful performance in Osun.
Today, despite his woeful performance in Ogun, you people still carry Eleyi Dapo Dagboru for head like Gala.
Which Yoruba politician do you people hate for poor performance and not for going against Jagabandit? Aregbesola performed well in Osun, there's no Osun indigenes that'll say otherwise. They were only against his Policies There's almost no Ogun Indigenes except his loyalist that praises Dapo Abiodun. Last there's almost no south west governor that didn't perform Name them from Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo. Unlike you, tell me how a sane person will vote Ikpeazu for 2nd term? Hope you know his also going for Senate? Tell me how a sane person will continue to vote for the Orjis to the Senate despite being a failure in govt. And his son is also House of Rep speaker. The Likes of Orjis or Ikpeazu cannot win 2nd term or Senate in States like Ondo or Oyo state. |

Yet in less than 6 months into office, Soludo is already requesting to borrow #100billion.
I hope Anambra hasn’t made a mistake? The bolded are true |

NaijaRoyalty: Did you not see where it was written that the government owned forest reserve has been permanently ceded to private firms by Rotimi akeredolu government ?
I bet he didn't follow due process before ceding this forest reserves to his Fulani cronies Farmers in Ondo State will soon benefit from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)’s N200 billion loan facility approved for them at a single digit, for improved production of five major crops. The cash crops are cocoa, cashew, oil palm, shea butter and sesame seeds. The approval was one of the major discussions of the Bankers’ Committee meeting last week. According to the Ondo State Commissioner for Agriculture, Otunba Adegboyega Adefarati, who addressed journalists yesterday on behalf of the State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, the development was an opportunity cash crops farmers in the state had been yearning for to take their trade to the world stage. https://dailytrust.com/ondo-farmers-to-smile-over-n200bn-facility No be everything be Fulani. |

Politics › Re: Result From INEC: This Result Table Says A Lot. by Sammy07: 7:53am On Jul 17, 2022 |
MetaPhysical: Here is data analysis of the table -
1. Overall, PDP beat APC by 24,380 votes. 2. PDP won EDE North by 14,328 difference. 3. PDP won EDE South by 13,734 difference. 4. APC clinched victory in 15 out of 30 LGs.
PDP's margin of victory came from Ede North and South, the hometown of its candidate, Adeleke.
This data show that the rest of Osun are yet to accept Adeleke. This election should have been a landslide for PDP but it wasn't...Oyetola is still very much popular.
Unless he listens to the people and take ownership of their issues, Adeleke would likely be a one term governor. In contrast if he brings himself to their level and deliver results he will grow his popularity and acceptance and is definite to outperform himself in a landslide in 2027. Yes, true if Adeleke didn't perform. |

soojar: According to the constitution of FRN, the President of Nigeria will be elected using a modified two round system, to be elected in the first round, a candidate must receive a majority of the vote and over 25% of the vote in at least 24 of the 36 states.
By simple analysis, which 24 states can Obi realistically score 25% from.
I am sure of the following SW- Lagos and Oyo - 2 SS- All SS states - 6 SE- All SE states - 5 NS- All NS except Kwara and Niger - 5 NW- Maybe only Kaduna - 1 NE- Maybe only Taraba -1
TOTAL -20
We learn everyday Numbers determine also. Imagine PO clearing SS and SE with 4m votes for LP While borno only bringing Over 2M votes for APC apart from Kano, Kaduna, Kastina |
