Carmit: I get what you mean. I read it all. But they also stated clearly that these were 'selected' cities. It's a little dodgy COPENHAGEN isn't part of the 'selected' cities.
Austine1213: HUGSI stands for Husqvarna Urban Green Space Index — a digital innovation initiative developed by Husqvarna in collaboration with 20tree.ai. The ambition is to help safeguard and improve maintenance of green spaces in urban areas. By applying computer vision and deep learning techniques on satellite images, HUGSI unveils insights about the size, proportion, distribution, and health of green space in urban areas.
This is in terms of city green spaces
In terms of sustainability, green energy, etc Copenhagen takes the title
This is like a startup company....
Give us like two more proof /link to Buttress Your point.... Plus this was based in random selection..
Austine1213: Seems like african countries export their dirtiest kind to SA
Excuses...that is what SA citizen are known for....always looking for who to blame their predicament on....but never ready to take responsibility for once..
TayserMahri: Welcome to the club! When you see yourself posting your country here you automatically know its a shythole country. You have officially been dragged into the poo.
IGpro1: TBH!! I don't support This, you don't bash your country in a public forum. It's totally unpatriotic. One of the duties of a citizen is to defend your country by all means. She's your family and all you've got when the whole world turns against you.
Joburg of today is better than some cities in ten years time.
This coming from an old moniker is just bad!!!
You've given the Kenyans something to excite them for the rest of the week. Well, we all know the reality
Then they are insane..for worth is worth joburg is still very developed than most cities in sub Saharan Africa
Centrifude: I don't know why South Africans decided to get involved in this shit, but since we're all here I'd like to correct My Country.
Joburg has to be one of the filthiest and most DANGEROUS places i go to, it is Disgusting !!!!
from the time you enter Hillbrow, then the surrounding areas of Small street and MTN tank rank and Bree Taxi Rank, thoseplaces are overflowing with hawkers who dump their sh*t on the ground, people piss in the middle of the streets, people steal manhole covers then someone will come and vandalise the water pipes and Cables.
The Joburg you see on those pictures is the Rich side or Joburg, the rest of it is cover in filth and every Crime you can imagine.
Joburg is Disgusting even the rich and decent sides need security guards posted at almost every corner just to keep people safe.
If you're a foreign national looking to come JHB i advise you not to, that place is shit, i f*cking hate it with a passion, i see all these things everyday.
Don't go to Joburg!!!
I believe we are on the same track...jiln5 talking poo about other but never wants other to talk about is poo..
We all know hillbrow, yeoville is dirty but trying to hide it whilst pointing fingers to others is insane... But that doesn't stop joburg from being one of Africa's most advanced cities..
jl115: No doubt Cape Town is better however..... Joburg is by no means a "very dirty city" yes on occasions when there are protests(photos which I know you are going to post) or occasional flooding the streets are dirty but only for a day or 2.
Pics Joburg cbd streets.... BTW some of the pics are from the so-called bad areas in Joburg such as hillbrow.
Maybe this is hillbrow some 10 to 20 years ago or you are just cherry picking.... hillbrow of today is actually dirty, disorganised, people trading illegally on pedestrian lanes, dangerous, quite stressful and chaotic..... although it still maintains its good road network
Troy404: The funny thing is that you are posting slums when am posting your CBD Lagos CBD is the most shambolic in the entire world, where do you get the guts to compare with any country let alone kenya.
The funniest thing is the fact that you keep sticking to old pictures from Google to get us to stop talking about your shambolic , rowdy, market looking CBD...
This is video of that same place you post @ third pic...the place was cleaned up and upgraded last three years by the previous governor....check out that same yellow building where that pile of trash is...it is also visible in this video.
Austine1213: I know casablanca, so infrastructure struggling.
The Urbanization of Casablanca is putting significant strain on the city infrastructures that were, built for populations a fraction of their current size. The city has infrastructure that is near or past its design life, requiring massive upgrades.
How ever city preferences differ from person to person, just as someone may prefer Capetown than NY, or Abuja than lagos, or even lagos to miami
Lol na so E pain you reach...you are reply a single post twice....
kikuyu1: Very true-it always amuses me in this day and age many people still bekieve in primary school tales of Congo migrations and wiki histories! I posted this before you joined us. A dendrogram showing very close Kikuyu and Amarkoke,a River Omo people of S Ethiopia (not Amhara) genetic relationship. Its old ,having been done late 80s,but imo has much truth. While similar phenotype doesn't necessarily correlate with genotype the pics reinforce what many know as one of the many 'Kikuyu looks.'
See solid ripe breasts ..looks good to press but the face and that hair can cause a lil bit of discouragement
Shut up and stop sounding pained ...no one compared joburg to Lagos.....we know which is most developed , and we also know the reason behind that....
Problemkid was with the notion that Casablanca is better than joburg and that y'all went too far comparing with new York...and I gave you reason why he might have arrived at that conclusion.....
Casablanca is no joke if you care to know....take it or leave it...
Just last month a philanthropic Nigerian built a 3.2km road in a town in Abuja for free... That sane last month another nigerian built 9,000 capacity hostel.in a university...
This month a philanthropic pastor spent $1.8m in building a road connecting Lagos state a d Ogun state....
And when we thought it is over a musician and his little kid brother who is a business man built a 2.5km road in their village....
We can only join the govt to develop this nation...ain't no motherfvcker going to help us do this shiit...
Troy404: Aerial view of Laghost that they wont show you, sometimes i read what they type and wonder who cursed them. Their is absolutely nothing to brag about in that city.
Dumbass..old pics taken from the farthest point in the sky..,.
Here is a close up.shot...you can see the same bridge and road network in both pics for confirmation...
