SUFFERInSMILIIN: All the Lagos State governor dos is tell lies for morning to-night. Wasn't this the same governor who said Lagos State is buying 36000 Hector of land in other States. Under Nigeria's constitution and under Nigerian Law it is illegal for one state to purchase huge amounts of land in another state Honestly no sense in what you wrote |

68816419: UAE builds 300MW renewable energy plant in Lagos
A 300MW renewable energy power plant has been established and it is ready to generate power in Lagos soon. This was revealed when the United Arab Emirate Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Fahad Obaid Al Taffaq, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Power, Engr. Sale Mamman in his Office on Tuesday The United Arab Emirate Ambassador to Nigeria Dr. Fahad Obaid Al Taffaq informed the Minister that a 300 megawatt power plant established by the United Arab Emirate, UAE is ready for take-off in Lagos to supplement the National grid. Al Taffaq said the 300MW power plant established by a member of the Emirate Royal Family, Ahmed Al-maktum, has the capacity for expansion within a few months to about 1,000mw.
He noted that the power project is part of the United Arab Emirate investment activities in Nigeria. The Ambassador however requested the assistance of the Minister in securing a generation license and tariff from the Lagos State Government. Al Taffaq explained that the company had concluded all agreements with Shell for the supply of gas to the plant. The Ambassador also informed the Minister of the interest of the United Arab Emirate to invest in electricity transmission and distribution network across Nigeria.

PROVERBZ: update from the south west quadrant of the lekki free trade zone which is the lagos smart city the first building of two in the lftz office complex has been completed
I will bring you more updates from the north west quadrant which is alaro city that will act as a suburb to the Lagos smart city I have asked a friend to go fly his drone there and get us some good pictures
some significant progress there a four lane Ashpalt road, street lamps carpet grass and bycicle lanes have been constructed there Oh that's the office complex.....you know the Chinese has acquired a piece of land there and they call it "Chinese CBD"....the govt pragmatically made a Chinese the managing director of LEKKI FREE TRADE ZONE tso he can pull his fellow Chinese men into business as well as over-see the infastructures being put in place... The interesting thing about free trade zone areas is that investors will enjoy complete tax holiday from federal, state, local govt taxes, rates and levies so expect to see that place clogged up with so many global businesses(mostly Chinese).....so we are looking at another Hong Kong or Shanghai in the making |

Shma: It is now clear to me that you are just a desperate slowpoke throwing comebacks just to sugarcort your country in the name of loyalty with a no fact backed statement.. If your roads were better at least they could appear somewhere in one of the top ten rankings of legit roads in Africa, but they are no where to be seen bro now see how you keep on deceiving yourself boy . meanwhile, digest this . And quote me once you show up again with a substantial facts to back up your arguments. Below are the screenshots which will help disabuse your mind a lil bit. Am just waiting for some silly arguments like ooh they are not substantive sources, ooh not credible, so is Naijeria a special country not to be recognized by those who conducted the research?? Lol idiot if I should start name calling with you, you will hate your destiny ..you seems obsessed with Sammy hence the constant mentions the methodologies used in arrive at those ranking is diverse. It takes note of the amount of silly accident that occurs and motorist complying to traffic rules..... It also take note of the amount of vehicles that gets damage on roads We generally have lots reckless drivers in nigeria that do not obey traffic rules, round about rules so yes it is very normal to see silly accident happen like it's a normal thing...plus Kenya has enjoyed a decent amount of visitors compared to us atleast not until recently and most of this ranking rely on tourist feedback which is complied over times (they say good things mostly because of their obsessesion with giraffes and crocodiles. Nothing more) |

You were relishing Nigeria not being an LDC, well... it's not that big of a deal. I was simply running a comparism between developed nations and how that comparism is applicable to developing nation hence I stated that fact for clarity |

Jonraid: We've been posting a more than five percent increase in GDP growth despite the global economic slump. We've been resilient. We're yet to taste a recession, I can't tell how a recession feels! That is because you are not a resource based economy so the US- China trade war coupled with the brevity deal has little effect on you.... But what I can't seem to understand is how an economy growing at 5.6% will be experiencing rising unemployment rate (about 40% . Hakuna kazi ) , a diwindling real estate sector, companies packing up and laying off workers amongst other thing going on there... Hmmmm Hakuna kazi |

Jonraid: Not being an LDC is not really an achievement. We're not an LDC too. You were implying that I called nigeria a develop nation and I simply cleared you on that if you were getting me wrong.......being an LDC is retrogression and stay out of it is commendable but that not to say I was hyping that ..... It's just that you are out of words , that is why you force/ project your shiit on me...... |

tylann: . It has been under construction for too long now
And why the hell did your govt allow the road to your busiet port degrade to such levels What do you mean by for long? Something started this year(few months ago) and you are shouting "for long". How many years did it take you to build some of the roads in Kenya? Was it not up to 2-3 years.... And why did your govt allow your 12% in 2002 to degrade to 7% with about 4% in bad condition huh? |

I mean even the road to your busiet port is disgracing Better what? You mean the ones where you influence system or what... Do you even know the methodology they using in arriving at that or do you just want to talk...plus we were talking about your disgraced 7% road since independence...shame BTW I an not bothered on the current state of apapa roads and all its numerous routes , so long as they are reconstructing them I am fine |
