Politics / Re: President Yar'adua Is Dull? by samsilo(m): 11:28pm On May 30, 2007
Dear Nigerians let s not expect miracles. If you have lived in Abuja or any of the state capitals and been lucky enough to associate with those in power you would realise it is going to take our new president several months to get his feet on the ground and become his own man.
It took OBJ several years to do this but unfortunately he decided to use the power he had for silly games.Yar'adua is certainly not dull in terms of intellect and and seems to be a principled ,humble and disciplined man from all I've heard.
These are qualities very rare among politicians.I believe a few years down the road he will surprise a lot of people.
Romance / Re: Nigerian Girls In London by samsilo(m): 8:19pm On May 30, 2007
A guy came on here announcing his engagement

@poster congrats on your engagement or are you married now.

@aadun I found it funny at first the way the gist has been diverted ,but I understand. Women are impressionable creatures(generally).
In my short stay in the UK I have seen the nasty effect being in this country has on Nigerian girls especially those who come  here over 10-13yrs old.
This is not the thread to discuss what these nasty things are but some have been mentioned here.
Webmasters / Re: The Poor State Of Nigerian Bank Websites by samsilo(m): 6:35pm On May 30, 2007
My problem with all these bank sites is not how good they look but how functional.

I have had to stop myself from cussing out people at my bank after trying for weeks to call after sending several emails.
These guys do not know jack about customer service angry angry.
At most websites here both private and government institutions you can get all the information you need or at least get a reply to an email in a few days.
With this banks whossai.
Religion / Re: I Had A Blood Convenant With My Girlfriend by samsilo(m): 1:43am On May 30, 2007
I feel sorry for this guy .It amazes me when in this age people show such crass ignorance and superstition.
First you must come for a very poorly educated background not to know what health risk you exposed your self to by licking another persons blood.

This sort of nonsense was quite common in the 70s an 80s in my area but for those of you saying he will go mad and so on,sharp guys have since discovered that all these things do not work.

If you try to hold some one with licking blood, some will drink one bucket and still litter your ass.
My friend stop all this sort of nonsense, get a life and go to church so you can become a free man.I believe one of the best things christianity has done in my life is to make a totally free man,no fear of winch, juju or all that crap.

You were lucky you did not take an oath at a proper and real shrine ,then you would have been in S**T
Romance / Re: Can You Make Love With Your Brother/sisters-in-law? by samsilo(m): 6:21pm On May 29, 2007
There is some information missing here ,is it brother/ sister in-law as in your wife or husbands brother/sister.
If not I know of two brothers marrying from the same family and two sisters marrying from the same family.
These are also in-laws ,so people what do you say about this one.
Romance / Re: Why Is It Nigeria Girls Do Lie ? by samsilo(m): 6:04pm On May 29, 2007
@tollu, did you have a problem with my analogy or did you not understand what I said .Telling lies is not the exclusive preserve of guys or girls.Nigerian or not.

Romance / Re: Have You Ever Farted In The Presence Of A Lover? by samsilo(m): 1:34am On May 27, 2007
I have gone through this thread and it seems I am the only one who has heard or knows(ooh My2cents also said so) that people ,especially ladies often fart during a hard f**k.
I have seen it written about several times ,it commonly happens in certain positions(do not ask me).
If it has never to any one else here then you guys always do it quite gently.

NYSC / Re: NYSC Is A Waste Of Time? by samsilo(m): 3:19pm On May 26, 2007
@thebaron,Nairaland will always have its share of rude and uncultured like you.
If you read my first post did I not say I used to go to th village but never spent time there. I have been to most of Nigeria except the North East and North west(about 9 states).Like many people I met during service I felt like running away at first but I tell you I enjoyed ,learnt from the experience, made a lot of friends and came out a better person.
I was also able to provide a very useful service in that village as I worked in the hospital then.
Life is not all about your own selfish interest.
NYSC / Re: NYSC Is A Waste Of Time? by samsilo(m): 1:03pm On May 26, 2007
Exactly my point,I now live in London. If I did not serve I would be like some ignorant people who having lived in Lagos or PH all their lives do not know how most Nigerians live
NYSC / Re: NYSC Is A Waste Of Time? by samsilo(m): 12:34pm On May 26, 2007
The NYSC may have caused some to have nasty experiences, myself included .I spent one year in one of the most interior villages in Imo state.
That said, believe it or not Universty education in Nigeria was virtually free so all graduates owed the country a duty of service. One may argue that fees are now high, but I know a lot of people whose exposure to career opportunities was greatly helped by serving outside their known environments.
My time in camp was very enjoyable but the service year was very stressful for me.I had lived all my life in the city and only went to the villages for burials etc. But my one year in the village exposed me to how the majority of Nigerians live.

@Zigbo,check the writing style of this Obo person and compare with Wa_do_mi and Closet pervert.
The rate at which they run around this forum and the dates of registration make me feel they are all the same jobless person.
Travel / Re: Nigerian Girl 17 Who Travelled To Space by samsilo(m): 3:07am On May 26, 2007
Its funny how understanding simple English eludes some people like obo_ whatever.
This is an old story, the girl went into a boeing aircraft which flies in simple English, up in a curve and down so for a few minute everything is weightless like in space.
I am sure you have experienced some thing similar for a few seconds when a fast car goes over a ridge on te road or when an aircraft drops suddenly in air turbulence.Weightlessness is what gives that funny feeling inthe stomsch at such times.
It is used to train astronauts ,so she never went any where near space( I think about 70 miles up is the cut off).
Stop misinforming and insulting people on this forum
