After successfully uploading my passport and other documents, on getting to the summary stage is now saying passport not uploaded. Is anyone experiencing such?

My dear, you know nothing. You need to come close to see what is happening. The organization I used to know back in my school days is not transparent anymore. Better opportunity awaits everyone.

My dear brothers and sisters I never wanted to comment on recent updates. But the truth is this, there is no second batch. I was reliably told is over when I tried to use my senator since last year.

Though the senator is from opposition party so they did not give him any listening ear. But people are still collecting APL till now, If you have a strong connection.

Also, there is no fixed date for collective distribution of APL anymore like the one in July. It is basically on individual basis now.

I wish everyone a better 2019 and better prospects. This is my last comment on the thread.

DPR and their agents knew what the common man would do, that is why they planted their agents especially on this thread to make sure no one takes any positive action regarding the outcome of this recruitments.

And I tell you, they succeded. Take a look at the past recruitment how they put their heads together and published their grieviances amicably and fear gripped every stakeholder and the proper thing was done.

Who knows, Ladan or Shakur might be waiting for us to act so he can see a space to place his footsteps helping the common man but we keep shying
away.

APL distribution is ongoing currently if u have a strong God father. Now is not about seeing your name on the leaked list is about who you know. But the truth is is already too late to act according to my source. Even if we publish now it will only affect the next recruitment not this one.

I have decided to shield my sword and keep believing God for a better opportunity. Marvel has the right information but don't know if is for our favor or not. Or probably he doesn't understand the things going underground. Because as it is now people are collecting their APLs.

DPR has no intention of calling another set of successful, it can only happen through divine intervention so let all of us engage in serious prayers so that God will fight for us commoners. I wish everyone success in all our endeavors.

Now is next year. Let's keep waiting on while guys are waiting for their training to commence next year.

One more thing no list is coming again, they are only replacing the merit hopefuls name and dishing out

Marvel said second batch is been captured in the budget and yet we are all here waiting for second list.

Believe me people are still resuming on daily basis with their APLs. I contacted warri and I was told a new experience hire just resumed.

Now the question I keep asking myself is when will the second batch be contacted when up till now people are collecting their APLs.

Let us remove sentiments or personal interest and publish this information so that we the common man will know our faith. Instead of waiting and giving the privileged more time to do more manipulations.

The only opportunity we have to act is now or never. I have even contacted my Honourable to seek help, which he put a call across but was told is over. Though he blamed me for not informing him on time. I never wanted to seek help because I believed that merit will be considered.

Once again let's unite and write to the president, it might not favor us, but in subsequent recruitments there will be some level of sanity. Forget about people telling you to be hopeful. A friend of mine working at PTI has already told me their names has been sent for training already. Very soon they will commence and by that time it will too late for any action.

Oga Marvel and Suchland has since moved on. Probably after collecting their APLs. Look carefully you will be able to read the handwriting on the wall.

Now the question is, why are they keeping quiet after collecting their APLs. You still see most of them online and yet they don't say a word. They have played smart on us, but let's not fold our hands and allow these nepotism, bribery and corruption with regards to recruitment in this nation continue.

Gradually with togetherness, we can make a change with the way these old politicians play with young and intelligent graduates in this country.

I was extremely vexed about this employment until I did some thinking for myself. I realized that most of the mistrust we have is due to the rumours being peddled here.
Let's give DPR a chance to do what is right. Let's choose to wait for the outcome of this recruitment rather than believing "them say them say people".

I am beginning to suspect @ herlecks, that ur among the satkeholder candidates. Who keep feeding us with information on this platform that there is merit list, while u keep doing ur underground work with ur so called stakeholders.

Sorry, because we can no longer be deceived. U might have succeded, but we need to let the whole Nigerian graduates know the irregularities embedded in this recruitment.

Mind u, we only have one purpose. And that purpose is to know if truly the recruitment has come to an end, and also if those of them that have collected their APLs, if truly their portal is still active. Because some of them did not even pass through the test stage let alone interview stage. So tell me how will they have a portal to update them. Can't u read the handwriting on the wall?.

All these questions are arising because they abandoned the portal which they promised to use throughout the recruitment stages. So my fellow hopeful do t be deceived, let's come together and solve this problem once and for all.

Let's start by putting up our request in form of a letter after which we decide whether to deliver it as,

1. Closed to DPR HQ (attn: Mr A. R. SHAKUR) as concerned hopefuls

or

Open letter. We pay for the letter to be pinned on Nairaland front page for some days.
"Open letter to Mr A. R. SHAKUR, Head CS DPR."

In the letter we will kindly request to know the status of the recruitment​, praise them for the efforts put from application to interview stage, make references to calls made, portals still open, get clarifications on online sources (Nairaland and Twitter) as regards the leaked list and an existing second batch of candidates.

While I work on a draft, you too can work on yours between now and 12noon tomorrow. Since we are the only ones willing to take a step, let's start something. We will then see how we can come out with an acceptable letter to use.

Let's start by knowing how many people residing in Lagos and are willing to come out let's match to their head office and demand once and for all if the recruitment is over or not. Remember change starts with you and I, and together we can change the way things work in this our country.

However, Being hopeful is good, but we still need to take appropriate action to be sure of what we are being hopeful about. Remember faith without work is dead.

Questions are been asked. As much as the comments wouldn't change anything, keeping quiet wouldn't change anything either. So choose to do what suites you.

Even Marvel65, I am sure he feels the issue is beyond him and demoralizing too. Going all out to get info selflessly, trying to encourage hopefuls only for it to fail or change again and again. Has he not tried enough for us? You wan kill am? So it now becomes an issue to comment because we must stress Marvel65 to spoon feed us continously according to your gospel? We all know that any info for now without SHAKUR's input is bound to fail.

We should be talking about how we can come together with one voice, make attempts to get that answer or info we are seeking rather than be cowed by the "you will jeopardize your chances singers who have since resumed" and sit down waiting and stressing Marvel65 up and down. It's us involved, we didn't say we want to fight, but politely seek what we need from DPR.

My brother, that's to tell u how nepotism has taken over the recruitment. Now I believe what my pastor told me that I performed very well but they are pricing my slot with 2million naira. At this point is only God that can speak for us common man.

And I'm not talking of them giving away sensitive info. I'm talking basic stuff like how medicals and documentation went, average number of intakes in their field and zonal offices. Just so we can encourage ourselves as we do our permutations.

True talk brother, just like the last recruitment, they had to contribute money and publish it in the front pages of newspaper requesting the distribution of their APLs b4 they were attended to. If that is the only way out then we have to start thinking in that direction, now that we still have the time.

This is because with time the whole merit candidates will be replaced with stakeholder's candidates and there is nothing u and I can do about it.

Sadly it is the current and visible reality. The whole scenario is not a happy one, let me just pour out some sad emotions even though it makes no difference to the issue at hand.

It's not like hopefuls are not busy on something else. Just as posted by BrockSamson some posts back, this kind of treatment is uncalled for by Mr SHAKUR. How we all decided not to do anything as little as demanding answers from DPR is unfortunate. It should be a collective effort not just left to individuals. All the talks of don't do anything to jeopardize your chances are all smiling in their Jobs already. Even if it's his dogs and goats Mr SHAKUR wants to employ in the DPR he can go ahead and Nigeria that we know, nothing will happen. I wonder what really it is about being upright, claiming integrity or protecting merit when the backdoor process has long taken place?
A whole government agency put the faith of candidates on the Yes and No of one man, Mr A. R. SHAKUR supposedly adjudged to be upright and just. May God be his judge.

This country tells you openly "It's better to trust in human beings (stakeholders, godfathers) than to depend on God." The honest SHAKUR didn't need to keep the stakeholder candidates in perpetual wait to get their appointment letters, but the expected small percentage merit, if any, deserve to wait endlessly, without knowing what to make of the process, while possibly in his heart laughs at the Infos that are been churned out week in, week out.

Yes Marvel have done great, goes out of his way to get informations, but as long as he Mr Shakur does not say it should or would be, then we will continue with the Infos endlessly. Marvel has mentioned sometime ago that he really cannot understand why the delay, everything would seem ready but next thing nothing happens. Is it the Shakur himself dishing out dates and failing to comply intentionally? or people around just making up infos and passing them down as a cover for the flawed process?

Who would have taught at this time we can't say for certain about this recruitment concluding or not? Well I take my pains and blames to God because that is who I trust for this Job. Feel sad though, but helpless because nothing more I can do than wait. Congratulations to those who trusted their helper (stakeholder) and are smiling now, enjoy it paid off. Those who also trusted their stakeholder but have not smiled can take their blames to them. Life goes on.

It is no news that Mr. Ahmad Rufai Shakur has already failed at his job, from the moment the 1st batch of Stakeholder candidates (that were singing his praises of Integrity, transparency blah blah) disappeared with their APLs; I couldn’t hold back my laughter.

If merit ever shows up and you’re so lucky to be part of the very few selected. Never forget that what was done to your comrades on this DPR journey was invariably done to you. Never forget “you” were disrespected, disregarded and robbed of a significant number of positions. One of my friend who works at PTI said the higher technical officer's are meant to be trained in PTI, but they are yet to resume. Pls Marvel do u have any idea or updates on the current status of the ones that have collected their letters. Probably we can infer some conclusions from that. Thanks

She has said her own, Marvel has said his as well. So leave us to correlate the two. If DPR calls fine, if they don't fine. What will be will be.

Half of the info she dropped here is true and its correlates with what Marvel65 said. “replacement” was what was happening. So the next half is “is there a merit batch?” Sometimes i feel some people are not reading well or there is problem with their comprehension. Marvel65 didn't give an explicit confirmation about the “next list” being the “merit batch”. I honestly didn’t see anything to jubilate over in Marvel65’s comment.
