Bro thanks a lot for your input but as I said earlier, I am a blogger and I take care of myself through blogging, though I don't earn much like some popular bloggers but at least between 2015-2017 I was making between N160,000 - 200k plus per month until Google made some changes that pushed my site down. However, am actually doing well in blogging but I don't want to live a life that depends on Google, you eat when Google decides and became hungry when they decide and that's the truth about blogging. You mentioned Quora and Edmond, but the two don't always correlate with public opinions in Nigeria. When a Nigerian tells you a product is bad, chances are you're likely going to get a different view on Quora or Edmund.

Opinions are good and can inform great decisions but we should be guided. If anyone is advising me about a phone or laptop brand, first thing I'll like to know is the year of purchase, tenure of use and nature of product at purchase period (new or fairly used).

Personally, I believe people who patronise fairly used products (including phones, cars, etc) should know the limit when it comes to dishing out opinions. I don't think Edmund or Quora review scraps. Opinions that are based on our experiences with scraps, Nigerian used cars, etc, should not be taken very seriously.

He extorted money from you. It wasn't your fault that their numbers weren't going through. Get their Head Office contact and call, explaining what happened and asking them to mandate the Enugu Manager to refund you your money.

When traveling, I love booking my tickets online with any transport company of my choice. I've been using ABC Transport in the past but had a very bad experience with them recently.

I booked four tickets online with ABC Transport to move from Enugu. Along the line, I realized I wouldn't make it to the park with my people to join the bus I booked so I started looking for means to postpone the trip. I was very far from ABC park and I went online to see if I could reach their customer care to shift the trip.

On their website, there are customer service phone numbers for every terminal nationwide. I copied for Enugu and tried calling that number for more than twenty times. It wasn't going through so I sent an SMS to the number requesting that they shift my trip to the following day referencing my booking numbers. I thought they received the SMS but I was wrong. I also used a feature (see attached) on the website to postpone the trip and the response was successful.

Going to the park following morning, the story changed. All my efforts to postpone the trip wasn't successful even when I received a message that the process was successful. At the counter, I was referred to the manager who said I can't board that the company's policy is to deduct 50% from the money I paid earlier because I couldn't turn up for the trip.

I explained everything I did trying to postpone the trip which I thought was successful. All my pleas felled on deaf ears. He was bent on deducting 50% and insisted I should've come to the park to postpone the trip. I asked him, why is the customer care not going through? No answer! I asked, why is the postpone feature on the site not working? No answer! Well, I balanced up and left the place with my people.

I want to ask, is this fair? Where was my fault? Can I get back the money the manager took from me?

On another thread, an akwa ibom individual was bragging that he was born and raised in calabar and ibibio will take over. His Allegiance is to Akwa ibom ,not cross river.
I am American born and raised and mixed race and I qualify to be Governor of Cross river than that guy . it's about roots ,not born and raised.
I don't care if an individual was born and lived ,school and worked all his life in Calabar, you are not from there and should be expelled if you do not pay allegiance to Calabar methods.
There will be no seaport at Akwa ibom within the next 30 years . The only seaport on plan within the next 4 years is the Calabar seaport at Akpabuyo which will serve the entire cross river and the Greater Calabar area including Akwa ibom.
Apart from English ,Efik is the standard and official language of the Cross river and Akwa ibom ,and is in the process of being registered by google.
If Akwa ibom does not agree with these methods, all akwa ibom people should be expelled from cross river and a border wall built., all other mthods will be implemented to punish Akwa ibom forever.
