Yep it equally happens to rich women who marry "poorer" men...go ask Halle Berry who pays $16K in child support monthly to her ex French husband; go ask Mary j Blige paying her ex husband $30K monthly; ask Madonna who had to pay up to $70M to Guy Ritchie; ask J- lo who gave her ex $14m spousal settlement; ask Mel B who had to give her ex $8M spousal settlement; ask Britney Spears who pays her baby daddy $20K in child support, and the dude now wants more, lol!
You listed celebrities who obviously make a lot more than the average man and will find it difficult if they narrow their search for a partner to those who earn about the same or more than they do. Women do not like "dating down". They only do it out of necessity or "love" and the mainstream media also actively discourages them.

The second link I shared has a celebrity (Chili from TLC who wrote "Scrubs"wink saying if she has to contribute to a vacation, she has to be going with her girls. Her man will have to sponsor the trip by himself. Just imagine what a wealthy women is saying in public yet we have gender equality (or is it equity, it's difficult keeping up) policies in almost all developed and developing nations with quotas in favor of women.

Not bad, they made loss too whe n it was reduced few months ago. Their luck......it doesn't mean i support the new price anyway.
What kind of statement is this? Are you speaking from a different planet or what? When the price was reduced, it took over 3 weeks for them to reflect the new price. Their mantra then was “old stock”. I was badgering the petrol stations around me daily for the new price after I read the news online. The opposite occurred every increase - I get to the station and discover a new price almost before it hits the news. No more “old stock”.

I will continue to proclaim that the problem with Nigeria is Nigerians. Our leaders aren’t picked out of a different dimension and rise to power by their solitary efforts. We are all culpable either actively or passively.

Now for me to take MTN up on their esim offer.

I hope that they continue finding new ways of taxing us. Why?

Firstly, so that those who always retort that those leaving to better countries pay a lot in tax will realize why people would decide to do that. At the end of the day, they see the benefit of the taxes in infrastructure, healthcare systems, security, insurance and all the tenets of a functioning society. When we start paying comparable taxes and still do not have the basics like good roads and stable electricity, I hope those people start using the little intelligence they have to realize the folly of their words.

Secondly, the average Nigerian is corrupt and narcissistic. We only think about enriching ourselves and are willing to go to any length to protect what we cherish. When corrupt politicians steal the nation's wealth we don't react not because we can't but because we feel it does not affect us personally in any way. The nation is a vague, transient and nebulous concept in our mind which seems far away. Such direct taxes that are visible and clear to see will erode our laid back attitudes and make us pay more attention to the policies politicians propose and eventually hold them accountable to their promises.

I recently read about the French revolution (la guillotine baby) and the resonant effect it had on other nations (itself being an effect of the American revolution). Baby steps but we will get there eventually.

Corrinthians:
No one really cares anymore. You dont need to be a sage to decipher these Wadata Plaza birthed lies and propaganda. Pdp has resigned to bank TOTALLY on fake news to claw it's way back into Aso Rock because they have virtually nothing else to rely upon.

Look at the fire incident yesterday, they've already conducted forensic investigation, taken all the stock that needs to be taken and interviewed all the staffers of that office and concluded that IT WAS AN ARSON MEANT TO COVER UP CORRUPTION since the NASS was asking questions.

Here's what's interesting:Thesame people who've written off the NASS from the very second it was inaugurated as USELESS and a RUBBER STAMP in COMPLETE CONTROL BY THE PRESIDENT,
suddenly feel the presidency burnt a Federal building so as not to answer questions from the same NASS which is their puppet!!

It must be a stuff of magic how these pdp supporters manage to accommodate such starkly conflicting positions in the same brain.
Holding two or more opposing viewpoints is basically termed cognitive dissonance and yes, it is rampant in Nigeria.

Self entitlement are two words i'll use to answer your question.
Spot on! Nigerians feel entitled to everything others have including their dignity. We thrive on constant comparisons to others and trying to literally oppress others.

Growing up, I naively believed “oppression” was just slang for making yourself better but now I realize it’s as described on the packaging.

LESSONS LEARNT FROM BIG BROTHER NAIJA 2019!

1) At the entry into the house, Seyi told Ebuka he doesn't drink alcohol and Ebuka asked him how he was going to cope in the house where alcohol was the second most frequently taken liquid after water and he said he would cope.
While in the house, Seyi was the housemate to consume the largest quantity of alcohol in the house with Legend Extra Stout in his hands all the time...
Moral of the story: Never believe the lies and hype because things are not always what they seem to be

2) After Esther was evicted, Frodd became more focused...
Moral of the story: Never allow women to distract you in anything you do!

3) Diane was flirting with Tuoyo and when he left, she "switched" to Elozonam...
Moral: A woman is only faithful to you when you are with her...when you leave, she will look for succor elsewhere.

4) Cindy wanted to play ludo with Enkay but Enkay rebuffed her and this got viewers angry and sympathized with Cindy and there was a decision to vote Enkay out of the show...Cindy got to the finals but "sympathy" didn't save her and she was voted out when viewers felt she was no longer relevant...
Moral: People may show you sympathy but try to create an impact because that is what will make you endeared to people or else, you will be relegated to the sidelines by the same people who sympathized with you when they see you are no longer relevant.

5) Ike stole Omashola's bet9ja coins and Omashola swore that whoever stole the coins will never make the finals...Ike got evicted that same week!
Moral: Never deprive people of what rightfully belongs to them because if they "curse" you, WHATEVER THEY SAY WILL HAPPEN!

6). Ike spent his coins in buying immunity for Mercy without realizing that he was the one who needed the immunity more because Mercy was already covered by her large fan base...
Moral: Love makes us make stupid mistakes!

7). Tacha had a huge fan base as much as Mercy and would have probably had an edge over Mercy in becoming the winner. Mercy did not exude enough confidence as Tacha had in becoming a finalist...Tacha was so sure of herself but in anger, she (Tacha) became physical and was disqualified as a result...
Moral: Always learn to control your temper because it can destroy you and cut short your journey to success!

8 ). After Mercy won, women were posting stuff all over social media like, "Being faithful as a man pays", "Self control is key", "Cheating is a decision, ask Mike"... They were referring to Mike because he never indulged sexually with any female in the house because of his wife...but yet the same women hailing him DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM but rather voted for Mercy who was known to flash her breasts, buttocks and involved in all form of indecent exposure like twerking provocatively and even having sex with Ike on the house!
Moral of the story: Do what you have to do as a MAN and never try to please women or act decent or "gentlemanly" because when there is a stake or case to answer between you and a woman, they will still support the woman and ditch you as the man...it's called "Women Supporting Women Syndrome (WSWS).

I haven't come across a charger that charges this phone even moderately fast. Chargers that quickly top up phones from 2012 (No joke, a Q10) takes forever on this phone.

Yes, I know it's a 4000mah battery but the Redmi 4x charges 2-3 times as fast as this.

Live from Damboa road here.
Saw people milling about on my way back from work. A CJTF vehicle on top speed almost hit a keke right in front of me. Made me realize this was the real deal. Dudes were running from the fight. Saw youths in the area arming themselves with guns, knives etc. Not sure why the military is flying jets and not helicopters for surveillance. A little calmer now though.

Which xiaomi phone are you using?
Sorry for the laaate reply - Redmi 4X. Truly atrocious sound output. Only respite I get is when using bluetooth.
MY unadulterated recommendation goes to the August EP650. Highly underrated but excellent over the head cans. Sound is amazing and can be used via USB, 3.5mm or Bluetooth - real triple threat. Stable bluetooth connection with aptX, battery life of ~10hrs and a very comfortable fit. Only gripe with it is that there's a pulsing light which still annoys me and can't be turned off.
