BigBashiru:That's the point. She's 33 now, got married 14 yes ago. This means she got married at 19. She skipped the part of life where she is supposed to explore and enjoy life as an unmarried woman but she's coming back all over to wanting and craving that. Unfortunately, the longer she remains in the marriage, the more frustrated she'll be since she is already drifting from her spouse. She wants to leave the marriage and wants to experience love through the eyes of another based on her "Papa and Mama" kind of love and that's all you need to see the picture. Well, you know what they say about not knowing the value of what you love until you lose it? |
janejjjjj5000:Papa and Mama are parts of the problem you have. And I say this with all sincerity of purpose; Papa is either lying or definitely not telling you how SUBMISSIVE his wife is. He is a temperamental person and he doesn't hide it. The kind of woman who would put up with someone like him would be someone who must take everything Papa throws at her and must not talk back. My point is no marriage is perfect, not even that of the Papa you adore and look up to. If you ask Mama or she sees a marriage where the woman's opinion is heard and respected, she'd secretly crave such. It seems you will like Gu Jun Pio and Telenovelas a lot. |
Fiscus105:like you said it is your opinion and I don't have to disagree or agree with you. Women who marry early enough mostly get bored in their mid 30s. The husband of the person I cited sleeps around and she told me one time that she would sleep around as revenge. Truth is, you can't take this away from them. That's just nature's way of reminding them that they can't skip the process. The ones who don't have the nerve to leave will most likely cheat. So, if as a man you marry a younger woman, say at 19, 20 - 25. Note that that 33-35 which is about 14-10 years in marriage would be the height. The thirst for exploring (men, women or ideas), independence all over like it's their first, wanting to be alone and getting bored of marriage kicks in. I have a lot of women in this bracket around the same age and almost in the same "predicament". I don't want to think it is coincidence. |
Nuelzi:She married too early. That's the problem here. This is often a thing with those who get married early. She is bored, wants independence and suddenly wants to be alone to explore. I'd say it's pretty normal. I know someone who got married at 21, has three kids and now wants to leave just because she wants to live life and never had the chance to while she was younger. |
ityP:Involving the police might have something to do with the fact Osinbajo is a lawyer and understands the law. The cheap blackmail, if not fought, could degenerate into verbal attacks and Kwam One, Tinubu's mockingbird might just sing with it. Nipping it in the bud is necessary. |
Tinubu is an insanely strong candidate but the one person who can stop him is Osinbajo, not because he has the political will to but because of some factors. 1. Buhari's preferred is not Tinubu. Some suspect the person to be Osinbajo. 2. Being an ethnoreligious society, the fact that Tinubu is a Muslim will dent his ambition quite good. With the "Islamisation" chant since Buhari rolled out and how it became obvious, Osinbajo will be popular among Christians. What's worse is that shopping for a Northern Christian candidate for Tinubu might be a serious challenge for him. The North would always prefer to shop for a Christian candidate in the South than in the North. While Tinubu will pose a serious challenge even if he defects in the end, questions around his health, age and agility will be a serious factor to consider. |
Richdee1:I will. |
Sanchez01:Not sure if this is necessary but I recall making this post in 2020 and was sure I'd leave the following year, which was 2021. Well, for good reasons, it didn't happen. The long and short of it is that I am leaving permantly to Salt Lake City, Utah, exactly a week from now. I hope to document the journey somehow. I wouldn't say I am excited and I wouldn't say I am not. To be fair, I'm indifferent, at least for now, largely as a result of a funny mistake I made while booking my flight ticket. Finger's crossed. |
Wfaluse:READ TO UNDERSTAND! How many times did Farooq Kperogi hold Buhari by the balls on religious sentiments and for violating the Federal Character Principle ![]() |
Kperogi is a Muslim. He didn't even develop this sort of energy towards Buhari's bigoted and ethnoreligious loopsided appointments that violated the country's Federal character. Now, he is not attacking Osinbajo on grounds of incompetency but religion, claiming he wants to RCCGify the nation. How stupid people get professorship and display unrivalled stupidity in this manner is beyond me. |
ollymooreagain:He probably doesn't have a home. The prison is free home and the bread is free food which he'd always get periodically. Being free would mean he may not be able to cater for himself and considering the picture, that man is certainly poor. |
JusCuri0us:The truth is Christian Tobechukwu (Toby) Obumseli deserves to be mocked and spat on. He dedicated his miserable life to hating blacks, including men and women, most particularly black women. The white women he worshipped so hard ended up cutting his life short. I looked up his Twitter handle and couldn't believe the level of hate against your own race. It has got to be demonic and almost unbelievable. It is so bad that his attacks are 10x that of Nairaland baby team whites. It's sickening. Unfortunately, there are many black men like him and I have heard them talk with disgust at not only the black skin of ours but our women and men. Christian Tobechukwu (Toby) Obumseli deserves no atom of pity. As a human, his death is a pity but it stops there. |
Soffyh:Mention one Northern Christian candidate with influence? You recall Tinubu is a Muslim and he needs a Christian Northern as his vice right? Unlike Tinubu, Osinbajo/Zulum was long perfected. |
Duru009:Well, his followers are trying to shake off what is evident. |
ChoCho54:This is how it will work; I for one know Osinbajo won't step down. If (BIG IF) Tinubu is muzzled out or denied the party ticket, I am sure he won't quit his dream. He will move away and contest elsewhere. Plus, note that this is not just Tinubu VS other aspirants. This is Tinubu vs Northern Nigeria and there is no denying that he can't win against them. IF they deny him the party's ticket, they will only make it harder for him to win in the North. He is a regional powerhouse and the North has always been wary of his growing influence. Even with his embarrassing health issue, he is still consulting and working. I don't think Tinubu will give up no matter what. |
ChoCho54:1. Whether consensus or not, Amechi and Osinbajo coming into the fray has complicated the chances of Tinubu and a lot of his followers know this. When Tinubu visited Buhari to make his intentions known, it was revealed he didn't get Buhari's blessings. Rather, Buhari said he would not "anoint any candidate" (https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/01/i-wont-anoint-any-candidate-buhari/) and the statement echoed through Tinubu's camp. It should have been simple but no. 2. The Cabal wants someone the North can control or someone who will vacate power in the next four years so that the North can resume the four years GEJ ate off of Yar'Adua's tenure. Of course, they turned to GEJ and tried to woo him to run for four years but news came that he rejected and a need to shop for another candidate happened. And this is where Amechi comes in. Amechi is a loyal son of the North and it is likely that he would enjoy the support of the Cabal somehow but it is not certain yet. 3. Osinbajo, on the other hand, is not exactly loved by the Cabal but loved by his master, which puts the Cabal in a spot. More than ever, a quiet Buhari who seem disinterested in party activities has been making certain moves that are detrimental to only one candidate - Tinubu. Therefore, if Buhari eventually throws his weight behind either Amechi or Osinbajo, then the Cabal and most Northern politicians will move in that direction. Tinubu is influential and powerful and could win even without the APC but the truth is that with the way APC governors went into a closed door meeting with Osinbajo but refused Tinubu's meeting points to something. If the governors opt for a consensus candidate, then the party's flagbearer definitely won't be Tinubu because Buhari would have to come out openly to influence the decision. PDP will implode with the way things are going. Southern governors of the PDP want a Southern flagbearer but Atiku doesn't seem to care and is hell bent on running. He is even assured of getting it. Atiku is the only person who can pull off an upset nationally but it's dicey. PDP will definitely be divided if he gets the ticket and because he is a Northern, Southern voters may not look in his direction. Do not forget that he might lose the South East this time, particularly if Peter Obi doesn't get the ticket. And with Wike running, I know he doesn't even stand a chance. Wike can't win outside of Rivers State and it is clear as day. |
DontBullshitMe:I'll engage this fairly. The declaration for Presidency by Osibanjo is borne out of nothing but greediness. C'mon, this man has been in Aso rock for almost 7 years and spent about 1 of it being the President.Osinbajo's declaration is normal. Nowhere does it say he can't throw his hat in the ring just because he has been VP for 7 years. I could say the same for Tinubu who has amassed obscene wealth over the years through the same politics, and still tries to muzzle his influence in every SW government. He is old and nursing some undisclosed illness many have suggested to be Parkinson's. He suffers from incontinence has clearly shown in some of his outings. Isn't it obvious to him that Nigeria is fundamentally unfixable. To fix Nigeria, there are some harsh, unpopular policies that need to be executed and promoted nationwide. One of them is : to aggressively slow down population growth. Another is : coming to realization that Nigeria is not a very rich country, and taking active steps to foster industrialization so that taxation can be more aggressive. If Nigeria is fundamentally unfixable and some unpopular polices must be made, it sure can't come from Tinubu, with all due respect. Over two decades ago, the same Tinubu said he doesn't believe in Nigeria (referring to the union between the South and the North). What then has changed? Tinubu is not coming to fix Nigeria, we all know this. Like Buhari, he is only coming out to have one more item ticked on his bucket list. The man is a good adminstrator but that is were he stops. You wonder how a powerful kingmaker as Tinubu is desperately trying to be the king. It is nothing but greed and thirst for absolute power. Osibanjo himself knows he can't fix Nigeria, who is he deceiving? No one knows this for sure. However, based on a few times Osinbajo has absolute power, we all saw him wield it strongly, such as sacking the then DSS Boss, Lawal for sending operatives to block the National Assembly. |
Nonexisting:Nah... He can't just think of pulling out the ACN faction. The man still commands a cult following but has fallen out with some of his closest political allies over time, with Aregbesola being the most recent. A lot of people will leave with him but the APC doesn't seem to care as they are banking on the incumbency power. To be fair, Tinubu's name alone is a political party but considering Buhari's body language and that of some of the cabal's, I think Tinubu will be robbed in the APC or denied the party's ticket. |
LegendHero: Rilwayne001:Every Nigerian politician prostitutes politically. It's just the same way Malam Nuhu Ribadu was picked to contest against GEJ on the platform of the ACN only to be backstabbed and by the same Tinubu who pushed him and made a pact with GEJ at the dying minute. Whether politicians defect, merge or make pacts, prostitution remains prostitution. Tinubu didn't start from the APC, no? |
Now that Osinbajo has thrown his hat into the ring, I see an aggrieved Tinubu, considering the fact that he is not the preferred choice for Buhari and some members of the cabal. The presence of Amechi and Tinubu will complicate things for Tinubu in the APC, not because they have the political will to match him but because he is not the preferred candidate of some of the party's big wigs. I see Tinubu moving to SDP or the AD in order to pursue his life-long ambition. |
buckeyemedia:Clown. And Buhari has fixed the future after failing on ALL HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISES CUM MANIFESTO? Can you talk without sounding like a cow? I mean a goat will sound more coherent right now. |
buckeyemedia:I mean it takes a whole lot of stupidity to support Buhari but followers of the CLOWN are so stupid and devoid of thought processes. Why you think you are smart enough is what baffles me. Why is the Ministry's spokesperson using the presidency handle? Or are you so daft not to understand that "PRESIDENCY" refers to office of the president? Why is the handle of the office of the president post making an announcement for a ministry under it? |
omenkaLives:Have some shame. The APC is using the presidency account to report what the Ministry of Power should be reporting. That should tell you the government you staunchly support is on a mission to cover up its on failure. For a government that is know to fail but quick to heap the blames on others, the signs are all too clear. The National grid has collapsed three times in the span of 30 days and that tells a lot. Seven years down, you are still walking around, shamelessly defending a government better suited to be in the opposition. |
rickpat:This is what is killing the African society. As a Pundit, you should know where to draw the line. Players all over the world have lashed out at pundits who criticised them one way or another. Ikpeba has a record of losing a penalty when it mattered. Scoring is spontaneous for strikers with flair and agility. I doubt they say "let me score in a karate-like fashion" when the odds of converting it successfully is extremely low. Now, close your eyes for a minute and imagine Figo criticising Cristiano Ronaldo for failing to score just because he tried a Paneka and failed. Ikpeba is an elder in his household. He may have come before Osimhen, doesn't necessarily make the latter blind or immune to whatever dumb comments he'd make. Messi once called Jamie Carragher a "DONKEY" just because he was criticised by the former Liverpool player. Ronaldo referred to Roonie recently as "JEALOUS" just because he said Ronaldo is old and United should get another younger striker. Players have feelings and it is worse when unwarranted comments are made in the heat of a loss. Most of them don't take it too well. I don't care if Ikpeba was Prince of Monaco. No one cares about his laurels. He bottled far worse than Osimhen when it mattered the most. Criticise how he could not convert or how he failed to convert chances. Don't talk about the way and manner with which he wanted to score. This has nothing to do with being an elder. You are Pundit and just because you are older does not mean you will get an automatic pass and ignore for insulting and talking anyhow. Victor Ikpeba has always been rude and unruly in the way he talks to others. |
tonididdy:Chelsea can't. Madrid will most likely score one or more goals in the second half. The away rule might not be in play anymore but the plan is to score as much goals here and control the game in space. Chelsea might win there but lose on aggregate. |
Vinicius and Benzema should have ended this game already. This Russian funded Burnley side shouldn't have been given a slim hope of being in the fight. |
Luukasz:You claimed something is wrong if I don't see anything wrong with Gadaffi killed. I responded appropriately and in one clean sweep, you turned around to ask if Libyans are complaining. Just take the backseat and stop jumping everywhere. |
Luukasz:You miss the point totally. Any country with a decent amount of oil is a potential threat to the United States. It gets worse when such countries try to explore other payment options away from the USD. That said, Gadaffi wasn't a saint. He planted every member of his family into his regime, including his 12 children. Gadaffi may have been killed by the United States under Obama but a man who seized power and held on to it for 43 years didn't do anything outstanding. |
kb83:Why is this? How can you compare North Korea's sanctions to Russia's? Who does that? How do you expect Russia to weather the sanctions storm when they are about to default on bonds? So you think the US will actually let Russia and the Western World buy oil from Russia using Russian Rubles just so the Dollar can be useless? The fact that you think or claim North Korea is doing well says a lot. A country with nearly 70% of its citizens back flipping in abject poverty is doing well. Indeed. I understand you are pitching your tent with Russia but no new world is happening anytime soon. The US economy war on Russia is not to force Putin to resign but to take Russia back and destroy its economy so bad that it won't think of flexing its economic power in the next decade or two. Muammar Gaddafi also tried to convince African countries to dump the USD and opt for a unified payment, specifically Gold. Guess what happened to him. Saddam Hussein? Forget the fact that Russia is in Europe. The US is out to protect its interest. |
ballerman:"Twice as Tall" track.
|
Natural441:At the emboldened, Angelique Kidjo suspended her album for Burna Boy to win last year, after sending him into depression when he released the African Giant album. Again, she deliberated delayed her album because she wanted Burna to win. If you listened to "Twice as Tall" track, you'd hear Burna rant about his Grammy sojourn and how it messed him up. |
Charist:Unfortunately, for Wizkid, he didn't win. There is no way in this world any Nigerian artist will win against Angelique Kidjo at the Grammy. I said it on here two years ago, I said it hours before the ceremony. |

I have now come to see that only one group of Buharists had some level of sense, and that was Osinbajo's camp. Tinubu's camp are just confirmed agberos and touts
