optional1:Not really. I consider them the noise makers of the millennium. Other than 'Hey Mama, Let's get it started, Hey Mama and Don't Lie', all other songs of theirs are not appealing. |
Koolking:We had long figured this out. The so called Forza chanters are those who played Alaves to win CDR. |

I was almost getting angry and wondering why UEFA contracted Black Eyed Peas of all singers until I heard 'I gat a feeling, that tonight's gonna be a good night'. ![]() |
dessz:Drugs, perhaps. |
malton: ![]() I sincerely pray so. |
Suspect33: ![]() I'm glued! I'm waiting for these EEDC guys to carry their power and allow me put on my generating set in peace. ![]() Time is dragging like a pregnant snail and it's killing me. |
malton:Just about an hour 15 minutes away. ![]() |
malton: ![]() People keep saying Madrid will lose when all I see is a super motivated team. I believe we owe it to the world to explain how we make goal scoring feats easy. ![]() |
Melvinsofty:So it was back of the TV set that you watched, shey? Scoring two goals in a match isn't the problem but playing a man down against Barce and still go on attacking. I'm sure you wouldn't have written this if you saw the match, let alone the a highlight afterwards. |
I tried taking a nap this afternoon and I just couldn't do so as all my thoughts had been filled with events around 7:45pm. For the Barce fans screaming Juventus, you guys have got to take the backseat, we are talking about people deserving of football tonight and not those who dive like Michael Phelps. And for Juventus posting a picture with the Pope, may I submit that the Pope would not count one bit tonight, neither will his opinion mean a thing. Madrid have never lifted the trophy visiting Popes and religious leaders. It all rests on quality in the very end. I feel for Gianluigi Buffon though, I really like him but it stops there. My club before any other thing. |
SalamRushdie:That is nowhere near the look of a public airline. It is a private jet. |
Tonye, I Honestly don't know what to think of you anymore. Truth be told, I was wondering if you wrote something as similar as this the moment Yar'Adua passed on and relinquished power to Jonathan who in turn distorted the accursed zoning madness fashioned by the PDP. First off, Osinbajo has every constitutional right to contest for 2019 and I count this post meaningless since the VP has not flashed a green light or shown interest. And as much as I would love that we have an Igbo president or vice, we must just have to come to terms with the fact that it cannot work. The Igbos have burnt almost diplomatic bridges before them and with the Biafra rant in everyone's mind, I for one cannot make that mistake of voting for an Igbo man. While people might say I am biased, I'd be quick to point out that the Igbos themselves have treated their own with disgust for being wise and putting their people in a strategic position ahead of coming elections. The South South recently maxed five years, therefore would not be an option anytime soon. The South East is plagued with trust issues and I am dead sure that the other Souths wouldn't drum support for them, just as the North wouldn't. Unfortunately, this is what happens when all you do is make noise and create unnecessary attention. Every region that has taken the mantle of the Presidency worked for it. It wasn't dropped on anyone's laps and I don't see Nigeria doing same. Blackmail and lack of tact won't see the world give you something even when it rightfully belongs to you. Ironically, the bulk of those who call Nigeria a cesspit and a contraption are also here claiming power must get to them. It has left me puzzled and I have been wondering what happened to Biafra. |
Barca fans though. These fans just hate Madrid than they love their club ![]() Galacticos for the dozen Y Nada Mas! Hala Madrid! Proudly Madridista! |
Lemonade01:Bale needs to start tomorrow. We are talking Cardiff here, the place of his birth. |
Seun360: ![]() |
I'm already preparing for tomorrow ![]() |
Nigeriadondie:I could have agreed with you but your battery needs all the attention it can get right now. |
I was tempted to fall back to the Lagos special status bill that was rejected last year and all I can say is some people have forgotten their comments on that thread. Would share some. ificatchmodeh: madapcmod: DIFY20:Funny. |
HiddenShadow: |
ogashman:A similar bill, the North East Development Commission, was squashed by the same House. I see no reason why there should be a fuss about this. The Special Bill status for Lagos suffered the same fate when it was brought up. The said lawmaker should have met a couple of other lawmakers before letting out the bill. A sound debate would have brought about a cogent reason as to why the bill should have flown, rather than scream gang up and marginalisation. |
DropShot:Let's call a spade a spade and not any other equipment. We all voted Buhari but it is obvious the man is a failure. While the president cannot be forced into resigning, it is proper to say that history would gladly remember as one of the most horrible democratic elected President Nigeria has ever produced. We don't have to mince words just to sooth ourselves. A bulk of the country's wealth now rests on medical bills in the UK while insecurity has taken a more sophisticated dimension in the guise of the President's kinsmen. All of the promises Buhari promised during the election have met a dead end and it is sad that the presidency is not concerned about the people it rode on their wings to ascend to where it is today. Fayose might be a useless governor, but we cannot take away the fact that Nigeria as a nation is presently on her knees, all thanks to the ineptitude and lackadaisical attitude of this sham of a government. |
TheLogicalMind:I honestly don't understand the rationale behind the term 'pure blood' and 'mixed blood'. She is an Ijaw woman and I believe that is all there should be to it. Branding someone as 'pure blood' or otherwise is slightly tilted towards prejudices and racism. It makes no sense. |
The bead around her neck in the second picture is what my people would describe as 'pure'. So original. Third picture: The bead around her is clearly plastic and as such, fake. Fourth picture: The bead on her right wrist, particularly in the fourth picture is just as genuine as the on one on her neck in the second picture. You hardly see genuine, ceramic beads in this present day. |
lepasharon:So a Nigerian blog is incapable of dishing out something sensible ![]() Although I am not a medical practitioner like I earlier mentioned, time and time again you have proven you don't have a full grasp of the discourse yourself. Below is a journal by Murphy JR concerning the back and forth, and I'd really love to see you respond after this. Hemoglobin CC disease: rheological properties of erythrocytes and abnormalities in cell waterhttps://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/5658583 How about we play a bit and run to Wikipedia? ![]() Haemoglobin C (abbreviated as Hb C or HbC) is an abnormal haemoglobin in which substitution of a glutamic acid residue with a lysine residue at the 6th position of the β-globin chain has occurred (E6K substitution).https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemoglobin_C In your words; Dont be misinformed Hemoglobin CC is a type of hemoglobin in its own own right and has nothing to do with Sickle cell.Guess what Wikipedia believes... Individuals with sickle cell–hemoglobin C (HbSC), have the gene for HbS inherited from one parent and the gene for HbC is inherited from the other parent: they are "heterozygous". Since HbC does not polymerise as readily as HbS, there is less sickling (fewer sickle cells).Arguments drain me, to be honest, and you have not really assisted a clueless noob as myself as far as genotypes are concerned. |
lepasharon: youseuph:Genotypes associated with clinical features: SS, SC, CC (are associated with clinical signs, symptoms and syndromes) Please note that the marriage thing is this, we really don’t know what the recent trend is but the important thing is to make sure your genotype of you and your partner don’t match up in a way as to produce children with SS, SC and CC. These children only suffer for nothing!!! You can’t even begin to compare the differences in severity between CC and SS disease, Symptoms of Hemoglobin C dsx (CC) Most people do not have symptoms. Occasionally, jaundice may occur. Complications of Hemoglobin C dsx Sometimes, they may experience the following: Cholelithiasis (gallstones that may require treatment) Splenomegaly (big spleen) Angloid streaks (causing poor vision) Aplastic crises (due to viral infection): episode of severe anaemia Treatment There is no treatment. Folic acid supplementation is required to help the body with red blood cell production and improve symptoms of anaemia. Prognosis Note that unlike the Haemoglobin S dsx (SS), pxts with Hemoglobin C dsx have a normal life expectancy, Before we forget, what about SC genotype? Please note the following: AA: normal pxts AS: don’t show any symptoms SS: sickle cell disease (sicklers) AC: don’t show any symptoms CC: described above SC? This condition is associated with recurrent anaemia (breakdown of red cells in the blood vessels) and pain crises (vaso-occlusive crises). Some may also experience aseptic necrosis of the thigh bone (femur). The summary is that it is bad! One thing you must understand is that in terms of geographic distribution, the haemoglobin C allele is found at the highest frequencies in West Africa and it has been associated with protection against malaria. A good number of people have the C allele but are unaware of it. Also note that most people with the AC genotype show no symptoms, PLEASE NOTE THIS AND HELP SHARE WITH A FRIEND A man or woman with AS or AC or SS or SC or CC (very rare) cannot marry each other if they want to avoid SS or SC. They must marry a partner with AA if they don’t want to born a child with Sickle cell syndrome. If AS or AC marry each other, they have 25% chance of having a sickle child at every birth. If they marry SS or SC, they have 50% chance of having a sickle cell child at every birth. Please note all their kids could be AS AC or AA. If SS or SC marry each other, it’s is nothing other than a terrible disaster. All their children will have Sickle cell. SC and SS are almost the same only that SS suffers more severe crisis than SC carrier. You might not notice the presence of the disease on the body of SC carrier, unlike in SS. http://healthematics.com/the-as-ac-sc-ss-and-cc-genotype/ NB: I'm not a medical practioner and I didn't write the points raised above. |
lepasharon:So you think I pulled that without a source ![]() http://glowville.net/what-you-must-know-about-genotype-and-blood-group-compatibility/ |
WRVUK:AA + AA = AA, AA, AA, AA AA + AS = AA, AS, AA, AS AA + SS = AS, AS, AS, AS AA + AC = AA, AA, AA, AC AS + AS = AA, AS, AS, SS AS + SS = AS, SS, SS, SS AS + AC = AA, AC, AS,SS SS + SS = SS, SS, SS, SS AC + SS = AS, AS, SS, SS AC + AC = AA, AC, AC, SS SC, SS, or CC are Sickle cell diseases (a recessive disorder) – a very serious medical condition with high prevalence rate in sub Saharan Africa. This is why intending couples must make sure to know their genotype and blood group compatibility before going ahead with marriage. Don't really know how best to answer you here. |
skillmyman:Truth is, it is always better one finds out and make the best of decisions. |

The most backward continent cursed with thieves and rogues as leader. Africa and underdevlopment are like 5 & 6.
