... And I saw 'Light Night' ![]() |
anitank:And what gives you the assurance that the woman indeed lied against TD? That she was humiliated by being talked down in a video footage or because TD also got the chance to 'revenge'? Unfortunately, I've been forced to believe that TD indeed treated her MIL as stated. We are Africans and respect is key in this part of the world. Even when the chips are down, respect could be that one lifeline to get things working again. |
dangotesmummy:You don't seem to get it. That a video surfaces does not imply Tonto Dike is right and the woman is wrong. Did you notice that she was never allowed to complete her sentences? It seems her account must have pained TD so much that she thought she had lost in the eyes of the world. Truth is, the woman wouldn't have testified against her, whether true or otherwise, if she was indeed good as she claimed to the woman. And this isn't just about firing her but about winning or losing. There is no such thing as playing the victim card in this regard. She is an older woman and the due thing accorded to her is nothing but respect. The place if respect cannot be overemphasized. |
Evestar200:Lol! Me vwa rodovwe, Oniovo. |
Ishilove:Awwwnnn... This is so sweet ![]() Ishi, biko don't leave HungerBad, before he would reason my case. I don't have the strength for wàhálà ![]() Evestar200, so this is how you would set up your own blood brother and let them kill him. Issokay o! ![]() |
daududaniel:She clearly had no control over the content. I'm sure Olakunle or whoever might have talked her into turning against TD. However, I'd like to blindly conclude that Tonto Dike wasn't treating her well before now, which explains why it was easier for her to turn on her. If she had been good to the woman long before now, believe me, she would not have the strength to shout down the woman like she did in that video. |
anitank:I quite agree with you. However, I must be quick to point out that we have never killed our mothers who sometimes sell us out just to get on our nerves. EVEN IF she wanted to address the woman in that manner, I strongly believe doing so while a video recording is on is nothing but an attempt at dehumanizing and humiliating the poor woman and her family. There is something called posterity and life has taught me that every situation does not need to addressed or reacted to. Tell me, say the woman is your mother and you're seeing this all over the Internet. How would you feel? |
daududaniel:That woman could pass as her mother. She not only intimidated her but also humiliated the poor woman in the process. Interestingly, it was recorded while her madness raged. |
Igboesika:Does this mean Benin would also see that Onitsha return to the great Benin Kingdom? |
kingzizzy:Could you please highlight these phantom deals? |
Number one is wrong. Perfectionists don't do things to please people. As a matter of fact, the opposite is the case. They get on people's toes just to see that things are done the way they want it. Also, that they procrastinate is untrue. They are the most difficult people to deal with when giving a timeline for the execution of a project. Honestly, this brand of opinion is tainted and far from the truth. |
HonOlagrace:It depends, mostly. However, by default, you should always send a PDF format. It is dangerous sending your CV to a prospective employer in a Word format. |
hardywaltz:Quite frankly, I didn't see the part where you mentioned Urhobo. I only read the first paragraph before quoting your post initially and I'll quickly point something to since you didn't know. Matty already schooled you about the geographic location of Urhoboland as opposed to your eastern view. You foot soldiers just need to understand that you have a fundamental problem since you believe the world is jealous of you. Ideally, I am not supposed to dignify you with a response, but could you at least mention JUST ONE THING, perhaps a reason as to why the Urhobos would be jealous of the Igbos? I have so many good Igbo friends but in all honesty, there is nothing in Igboland that is not in Urhobo, save for coal and gravel, instead of the typical, fertile, loamy soil. What you have, we have more. So, where is the envy coming from, biko? |
hardywaltz:Apparently, you didn't wear your thinking cap before typing this rubbish. So your point is that those from Asaba, Ndoni, Etche and Egbema are not Igbos? |
TMTR:We should be worried. We'd be playing Atletico 2.0 in Cardiff. Should they score first, then we might not have a chance to change the scoreboard. Juventus is a team with highly disciplined backline and matured ones at that, coupled with the midfield and forward. While I'm not afraid of Higuain, Dybala would pose problems. And then we have Buffon to deal with amidst all these. We just have to do away with Danilo and pray that Carvajal returns in time to feature in the final. |
januzaj:That guy is just an ìdiot. A legendary one at that. |
willjoe:You must be a Barce fan? Why are you guys always bitter? ![]() |
azimibraun:What is goal.com? I think I know who is responsible for Real Madrid live match update on that yeye blog. |
I started this match with a drink by my side. First 15 minutes and I was sweating profusely, like I was seeing a horror movie. Even at half time, my hands are still shaky. I just pray Marcelo, Isco, Kroos and Modric find their rhythm better than first half. |
ediman:There is no such thing as Igbo intimidation on the South South. They're just a part of the country just as the Nupes, Hausas and Yorubas. |
DBriteLitehouse:Same here ![]() Peer sessions are always something to look forward to. Edovans leak freely and those who carry them are not in any way ashamed regardless of how absurd the names sound. I think the funniest I've heard is 'Agoma van', shared by Opharhe. We are a very funny people. |
I laughed upon seeing the post ![]() Bless you, Matty! The number two, Iwhiri is so personal to both my patrilineage and matrilineage. I grew up knowing that Edovan as one my paternal grandfather took great pride in before his passing. My uncles would tell stories about him and how interesting he was as a person. So it was registered in my subconscious not until my maternal grandfather passed on in 2006, and I discovered that his Edovan was the same as my patrilineage's. Interestingly, it was an Agbarho-Okpara-inland affair. The Edovan means a whole lot even to this day. I'm still at a loss over Osonobrughwe. I could remember asking an uncle about this almost a decade ago and his response at the time wasn't so convincing. DBriteLitehouse, your Edovan is weighty. I love it. |
ominilongest:Madrid has the upper hand, for sure, so long Marcelo and Modric and Kroos are at their best. The Ramos effect won't work against Juventus, and not even against Buffon. |
ominilongest:Barcelona wasn't dip in form as most people believed. The problem started the moment they faced Juventus. Barcelona's philosophy does not encourage shooting and long range passes and crosses, which best explains why the likes of Chelsea would beat them 5 times in 10 meetings and possibly draw two. The trick to taming Barcelona is by sitting duck in your own half. The final has nothing to do with Perez. It would be a game of two teams and with Madrid's long range football and massive attacking style, Juventus might not score a single goal if they are hell bent on not conceding. |
TheStronghold:This is not busy body but inferiority complex exhibited via land grabbing antics. While their decision on here does not hold water, these foot soldiers have a way of insulting your heritage. They just fashion a thread and lay claims to your ancestral home and claim that they are better than everyone in the zoo while shouting that they want to control their destiny. Sometimes ago, it was Urhoboland they sat down to dissect, then later Edo, the same Edo they have been calling a cursed state. Now Port Harcourt. They have left Lagos since the chances of physically moving Lagos is too thin. This isn't busy body, this is plain insult. |
GodIsBiafran:I guessed you pulled this one without reading this twice, yeah? Should the chips fall today, Urhoboland would fashion something out and that does not included attaching to another people. |
sorry1:I once mentioned that you guys have been remotely accessed into believing that those who have contrary views from yours regardless of where they are from are nothing but Afonja. Sadly, it says a whole lot about your reasoning. If Afonja killed you in your former life, I believe it won't be hard to figure. Amberon is an Urhobo lady. There is only a class of people I know who fill themselves with bile and hate, and that is some of the separatist Igbos. A whole lot is wrong, if you ask me. |
Dedetwo:Education has indeed kissed the dust, and it is tad unfortunate that you couldn't taste some of it before it did. |
PapaBaby:Your village people get you last last
|
I read about them sometimes in 2013 about their horrible customer service and they seem to have retraced their steps somewhere around 2016. I sincerely need honest reviews about them, most importantly; 1. On reliability 2. Uptime 3. Customer Service 4. Features, etc... |
Agadsman:Lol! Alexa is a tool web masters/site owners/blog owners use in constantly checking /testing the popularity of their site/blog, both globally and within their country of residence. OP, your ranking dropped to traffic. And the reason behind the almost 4million count drop is none than Banky W and Adesua's marriage introduction. Most bloggers capitalized on it this past week. What I would recommend is to map out plans in engaging your visitors. If it is a blog, then adopt Facebook strategy, advertise and use Nairaland as well. I don't know what your site is all about but whatever you were doing in the past that seems to have been neglected should be revived. By the way, Alexa should be the least of your worries, really. |
