Ill gotten money are never utilized the way every money should. Most people who venture into drugs do so just to cut corners. Quite frankly, it is about showing off at the end of the day, rather than putting it to good use. And we all know what happens to such people at the end of the day.

One of the president’s men came towards the gate around 5:07 p.m., beckoning to the reporter to “come.” He then asked: “Are you interested in your president dying?”

When the reporter said “no” and that “that is why we are here” to seek the truth, he then said:

” If you want your president dead, you will be disappointed. The president is hale and hearty. He will be returning soon.”

He then rained abuse on The Guardian’s reporter before walking back inside.
This is just funny! Why would those around the President think everyone who is interested in his state of being only wants to verify whether he is dead? undecided

For Buhari to have attended the mosque indicates that he is not dead, and that though he may be sick, he is getting well.

When told by The Guardian reporter he was just hoping the president was fit and coming home soon as Nigerians had been repeatedly told, one of the sources noted: “he comes out in the evenings, but is very ill.”

Asked if by “outside” he meant the front of the house, the source indicated that he meant the back of the house.
This sums up everything. Thank God they are now letting us know that it is not the usual surgery tale.

• CAN, Emir urge prayers for quick recovery
• Arewa youths flay northern politicians over president’s health

President Muhammadu Buhari may be “very ill” but he attended “prayers last Friday,” according to The Guardian’s sources in London.

One of the sources said on Wednesday: “The man is alive, but not okay. He is very ill. He is probably not going home soon.”

For Buhari to have attended the mosque indicates that he is not dead, and that though he may be sick, he is getting well.

When told by the reporter that The Guardian was just hoping the president was fit and coming home soon as Nigerians had been repeatedly told, one of the sources noted: “he comes out in the evenings, but is very ill.”

Asked if by “outside” he meant the front of the house, the source shook his head to the contrary, to indicate the back of the house.

The second source then disclosed: “he went for prayers on Friday. I saw about four cars” leaving Abuja House. “Maybe that was him,” the source added.

One of the president’s men came towards the gate around 5:07 p.m., beckoning to the reporter to “come.” He then asked: “Are you interested in your president dying?” When the reporter said “no” and that “that is why we are here” to seek the truth, he then said:” If you want your president dead, you will be disappointed. The president is hale and hearty. He will be returning soon.” He then rained abuse on The Guardian’s reporter before walking back inside.
Meanwhile, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has once again urged Christians and Nigerians in general not to cease praying for Buhari until he returns to the country hale and hearty.

CAN President; Rev. Samson Olasupo Ayokunle reminded Christians that it is their responsibility to pray for the country and its leaders all the time. He urged them to also pray for the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.

In a statement by his Special Assistant (Media and Communications), Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, Ayokunle said: “I call on all well-meaning Nigerians, especially Christians not to cease praying for President Buhari as he takes further rest as advised by his doctors until he returns to the country hale and hearty to continue his good works.

Also, the Emir of Gwandu and Chairman of Kebbi State Traditional Council, Alhaji Muhammed Illiyasu Bashar urged Nigerians to continue praying for Buhari and the country in general.

According to the emir, who made the call at the 10th matriculation of the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, leaders need prayers, not abuse to succeed.

Also yesterday, the Arewa Youth Forum (AYF) accused politicians of northern extraction of politicising Buhari’s health, saying some governors were already positioning themselves for personal political gains on the fallout.

In a statement, the National President of AYF, Alhaji Gambo Ibrahim Gujungu, the youths threatened to expose the identities of the political bigwigs in the north associated with politicking with Buhari’s ill health and how they are now positioning themselves due to the uncertainty over the president’s health.

Some of you Nigerians are pretty pathetic. Do you remember how long Obasanjo begged for FDI before both Shoprite and MTN came to Nigeria ? You forgotten so quickly how many times he travelled to Europe and America seeking foreign direct investment without getting any until those SA companies came to your rescue.

You have forgotten so quickly how you chased out foreign nationals helping to develop your economy n country in the name of nationalisation. How much growth or development have you achieved without them.

You chose not to remember your president past n present global travel for the same FDI. Your brain might be very little but remember after chasing them away investor will look back 20-30 yrs from now on you antecedent and dealings with them before coming again so chase them all you want but remember the regret will haunt you several years to come.

Not like I support drugs in the least of ways but recalling all Nigerians in South Africa just because of a lazy people and their country might see some ignorant Nigerians vandalize South African companies' properties without considering the ripple effect.

The problem is not who would be replacing these companies but the aftermath of our decisions. Business is not in any way greater than a human life, not at all, but then again, our actions could prove to potential investors that we are savages who could attack their companies when something comes up.

The social and economic implications are too huge to consider.

If only you understand the strength of a woman, you won't write what you wrote!

Women can turn the game against you with the cheapest blackmail tactics....

Women can mould and foster peace with a mere smile and shear strength, or they can destroy a home in a sec with their own hands....

The scenario i gave is tested and trusted!!!
What on God's earth are you talking about? When a woman is married to a man, she drops her father's name and answers her husband's. The implication is that she belongs to a different family now and her access to her father's house can be greatly controlled or monitored by her husband.

The principles of marriage are clear on this. Should a woman do otherwise, she is termed immature and, or a rebel.

Again, should a father and his son-in-law get into an argument and both men decide to flex their authority on the vulnerable wife/daughter, she is to heed to her husband's call before any other. She's her father's daughter but she answers to a man before others now.

She could make a reconciliatory move afterwards but there and then, she just has to answer to her man. A contrary move or action could be termed as whatever and might cause her to lose her place in her home. Perhaps she could marry her father then.

Marriage vows and principles are like the terms and conditions of marriage. Your assertion seems to be the product of Telemundo. I honestly don't mean to slight you but it's the truth.

Well, I honestly would know why but I believe those who venture into it do it for the money. Unfortunately, the notion these folks give to foreigners is that Nigeria is next to Mexico and Brazil, when in reality, these drugs are not really patronized as seen or projected in South Africa and other countries Nigerians pollute.

Truth is, a huge majority of wealthy folks here in Nigeria are dug Lords who go about their operations covertly. There is the story of a woman I heard yesterday. A 50+ year old who has 16 flats in a huge compound but never lives in the house. Our judiciary is stark corrupt, just as our legislators.

I would say the only way to minimize this scourge is for us to stiffen the penalty on drugs. Let us go the way of most Asian countries. But then, we can't as the bill would not see the light of day. How can it when a drug Lord is a senator in Nigeria?

The likes of Buruji Kashamu would never make it see the light of day.

I used to believe it is only Nigerian politicians that don't think. However, the SA Home Affairs Minister has gone on to prove otherwise.

So lazy South Africans who chose to connive with dirty, illegal, ill-thinking Nigerians, thereafter lose their lives is enough justification that all Nigerians living in South Africa should be repaid in the same vein. How about the businesses that have been brought to their knees?

South Africa might just be heading into a trouble that would catapult them back to 10 years ago.

Should we start counting how many South Africans have died in South Africa at the hands of Nigerians

This is the question posed by Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba in response to a question about the figure of 116 Nigerians said to have been killed in South Africa in the past two years.

This week a senior Nigerian presidential aide on foreign affairs, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said 20 Nigerians were killed last year alone and called on the African Union to intervene in what Dabira-Erewa was quoted as saying were "killings in South Africa".

But Gigaba said this was the discussion South Africa would not want to get into as it would turn ugly.

"I am not privy to the figures from the Nigerian government and how they collected them. I do not think it is the discussion we want to get into. It will turn out very bad.

"Should we start counting how many South Africans have died in South Africa at the hands of Nigerian nationals?" the minister asked in Cape Town yesterday.

Gigaba said countries should desist from pointing fingers at each other.

Gigaba hits out at officials who ‘incite’ violence in communities
"It is something we need to discourage strongly because we heighten the situation rather than lessen it," he said.

Gigaba said he had requested a meeting with African Union ambassadors today to discuss recent incidents of attacks on foreigners in South Africa.

Gigaba said on a visit to Rosettenville, in Johannesburg, where residents went on rampage burning houses believed to be brothels and drug dens, that people were clear that they were not targeting foreigners or Nigerian immigrants.

He said the residents were targeting immigrants involved in crime.

Women get confused when faced with such dilemma because they don't know the power they possess.

The following facts give her a strength when faced with such situation;
1) She's a wife to the man, thus got the keys to his heart
2) She's a daughter to the older man; and we know how men and their daughters get so bonded, sometimes they have stronger bonds with their daughters than their wife; hence, she's also got the key to his heart.

A woman is married into a family to further unite the home and not break it. If she takes any of th options you gave @op, she'll further tear up her relationship with the other person she didn't cling to.

If i were the woman, I'll yell at both my husband and dad and warn them to stop acting like kids. They'll be shell shocked at your reaction. Next, get them both to sit and talk some sense into them. If they refuse to listen and try to turn the table against you like your dad saying "did you just shout at me?"", then use the cry blackmail tool in your software (all women have this wink ). Cry that they don't love you that's why they want to destroy you by fighting and quarrelling. wink
This is too unrealistic. You would shout at two angry men and expect them to listen to you?

A wise woman in this scenario would understand that he is answerable to just one man here and that is the husband. As funny as it might sound, it's the truth. The father had handed her over, or should I say married her off. Men enjoy their ego being massaged even when many would tend to say otherwise. A funny attempt at not listening to him might impact the home there and then. A resolution could come after the issue had died and it is expected that the woman push for it.

But then again, it doesn't really make sense to see a father and her son-in-law argue to no end that both of them would issue contrary instructions just to prove nothing.

LAGOS— A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has restrained Senator Stella Oduah and Sea Petroleum and Gas Company Limited from making any withdrawals from their accounts and those of three other companies domiciled with 21 commercial banks.

The other companies are Sea Shipping Agency Ltd, Rotary Engineering Services Ltd, and Tour Afrique Company Ltd. The court order was sequel to a suit over an alleged indebtedness of the defendants in the sum of about $16.4 million and N100.5 million to Sterling Bank Plc. The court also directed the said commercial banks harbouring assets of Stella Oduah and the four companies, to sequestre their indebtedness, as at November 2016.

The court ordered that the money be kept in an interest yielding account in the name of the Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court, pending determination of the suit before the court to recover the debt. The trial judge, Justice Abdulaziz Anka, also ordered that court processes be advertised in national newspapers.

Meanwhile, Stella Oduah and her companies, have urged the court to discharge the order made against them.

They have also filed a preliminary objection to the suit, urging the court to strike out the suit for lack of jurisdiction. The order of the court followed an affidavit deposed to by Business Manager of Sterling Bank, Mr Segun Akinsanya, filed and argued before the court by its counsel.

In the affidavit, Akinsanya averred that on October 8, 2012, the bank granted a lease/Cabotage Vessel Finance Facility, CVFF, to Sea Petroleum and Gas Company in the said sums, to finance one unit 5,000 MT tanker vessel. Justice Anka adjourned till March 20, to decide whether or not to vacate the order.

When parents learned of Salem’s tweets, they flooded the school’s Facebook page with demands that it fire her.

“Absolutely appalled that Salem is teaching impressionable pre-schoolers,” Sierra Milton wrote. “She needs to be immediately terminated for racist incitement of murder.”
Maor Malul inquired, “How can you hire someone filled with such hatred to teach children?”
Randi Shuster posted: “I would strongly urge parents to think twice before sending their child/children to a school that employs hateful, terrible teachers. Nancy Salem should be ashamed preaching the murder of Jews. I hope you reconsider her hire.”
And Ivan Lazarus: “If this was a Catholic or gawd forbid Jewish teacher preaching death to Muslims, they’d be world headlines, protests, bombings, death threats, deaths, violence etc. But if the shoe is on the other foot, we sweep it under the carpet and hope it goes away. The Religion of Peace claims it is the net receiver of ‘islamophobia,’ yet reality dictates it delivers far more anti-Semitic rhetoric, and this proves it. This teacher, responsible for caring for young individuals must be fired and prosecuted, not suspended. But the world we are in today dictates that we must not offend the so called religion of peace!”
Heidi Marie: “What would happen if if this teacher were pro-Trump and advocated killing Muslims? Anyone hazard a guess?”
Pamela Geller, president of the National Freedom Defense Initiative and author of “Stop the Islamization of America,” told WND: “The worst aspect of this story is that Nancy Salem is not singular. She was one of many Muslim students at the University of Texas at Arlington who regularly published on social media hateful incitement and genocidal comments against Jews. If the establishment media were honest about the rise in antisemitism that they’re trying to blame on Trump, they would be looking at groups such as Students for Justice in Palestine.”

Students for Justice in Palestine, or SJP, reportedly has been tied to an affiliate of the terror group, Hamas. SJP is linked to American Muslims for Palestine, whose members were also members of the Holy Land Foundation, an organization that sent $12.4 million to Hamas.

“Alarmingly, AMP is also active on campuses throughout our country,” wrote the Stanford Review’s John Rice-Cameron. “AMP is a major source of funding and support for SJP: in 2014, it put $100,000 into campus efforts, and it routinely provides SJP with speakers, training, funds, and printed materials. Moreover, [congressional] testimony revealed that AMP ‘even has a campus coordinator on staff whose job it is to work directly with SJP and other pro-BDS groups across the country.’ SJP’s close association with AMP, whose members are tied to terrorists, is sickening.”

A Children’s Courtyard spokeswoman indicated in a post on Facebook Wednesday that Salem “is no longer with the company.”

“Providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment is of the utmost importance to us,” Director of Communication Lydia Cisaruk told Fox News. “The offensive comments certainly don’t reflect our views. Our employees are expected to uphold certain standards of person and professional conduct. Our senior leadership thoroughly investigated this matter.”

A Jew-hating Muslim preschool teacher in South Arlington, Texas, was fired Wednesday after she urged her social media followers to “kill some Jews” and tweeted: “How many Jews died in the Holocaust? Not enough…HAHAHAHA.”

Nancy Salem taught preschoolers at the Children’s Courtyard in South Arlington. She is also an activist with Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Texas, Arlington, according to campus watchdog group Canary Mission. Salem also supports the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, or BDS, an anti-Israel movement that advocates severing global economic relations with the Jewish state.

https://www.wnd.com/files/2017/02/Canary-mission-nancy-salem.jpg

Salem also tweeted the following in 2013 and 2014 from her now-deleted Twitter account, according to Canary Mission:

“@DictatorHitler: Gassed a Jew, I’m sweating #Heil’ OMG.”

“Have a safe trip Lulu. I love you baby girl! See you in 3 weeks! Kiss the Palestine ground for me and kill some jews! <3 #IMissYouAlready.”

“‘How was the copper wire invented? They threw a penny between two Jews.’ LOLACHAUST.”

“@hanansalemxo: I hate Makki more than I hate Israeli Jews and math combined.”

“Some of the signs I made for the protest.” Salem’s tweet showed photos of signs that read: “Israel Is Real Terrorism.” “Dear USA, your 9/11 is our 24/7,” and another sign accusing Israel of apartheid.

“I can’t wait for the day America stops being Israel’s little lap dog and wakes up. #BigDreams #Inshallah.”

“@Nihad909 anything is better than Israel. But nothing is better than Palestine. #PaliPride.”

“Hamas is actually defending our people unlike the Israeli army who will kill anyone.”

Politics › Why Buhari Is Yet To Reduce Fuel Pump Price To N50 Per Litre – Former Minister by Sanchez01(op): 10:04am On Feb 23, 2017
A former Minister of State for Works and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi, has explained why President Muhammadu Buhari-led government is yet to fulfill its campaign promise that it would reduce the price of Premium Motor Spirit from N86 to N50.

Ogiemwonyi, who exonerated Buhari from the price increase, blamed the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency for the development.

He said, it was high time the Nigerian National Petroleum Commission thought of discouraging importation of the product.

According to him, the only way forward was for the NNPC to start refining the product locally.

He told Leadership that, “There are two issues here, importation of products and local production of products. First the issue of product importation .The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) did a template on this I remember as Group Executive Director in NNPC, my position on this was we should look at the various components that constitute the landing price. I felt there were lots of redundancies between NNPC and NPA.

“It’s when we remove these areas of redundancies including high demurrage before we can achieve actual landing cost. Generally, we should also look for ways to eliminate corruption in this sector, Secondly, why are we not able to refine locally. I think we should shift our emphasis to how we can start refining in Nigeria.

“It is a shame that we are still talking of product importation after several years of Oil production in Nigeria. Why are we still importing products? I know somebody will tell me oh, it takes some minimum of two years, three years, four years to have a refinery, what prevent us from having modular refineries that at least can be operational under two years. This is the best time for NNPC to quickly think of supporting local refineries not just one, four, five, six local refineries in Nigeria.

“Is it not a shame to us that we are hearing now that Nigeria wants to start importing products from Niger Republic. It is a shame. Again it’s policy somersault, we don’t have long term plans, we have been inconsistent, we were always planning for two years, the Minister will plan for just two years and once that man leaves, the next man comes with a different plan.

“For example Algerians plan for ten years; whether there is a new minister or new chief executive or a new GMD, the rolling plan remains the rolling plan but it is only here in Nigeria once we change the CEO the next man coming will bring his own agenda, that is what they call the policy somersault; that is what is causing our woes. DPR gave approval to about sixteen refineries, only Dangote is on it now and we pray he succeeds.”

“I’m not happy how the presidency is handling the comments coming out. That leaves a lot of speculations,”
This is because the issue is pretty serious. If it was not, the APC would have debunked it effortlessly.

- He lamented over a situation where some Nigerians are wishing the president death

Former President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Dr Dozie Ikedife has spoken on the ill-heath of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Ikedife urged Nigerians to pray for the president so that he would get well soon and return to the country, even as he frowned at those wishing the president death.

He however expressed his displeasure over how the presidency is handling the president’s health situation.

“I’m not happy how the presidency is handling the comments coming out. That leaves a lot of speculations,”
Ikedife told The Authority in in his Nnewi residence in Anambra state.

“Generally, it is clear to me, from what is going on, that most Nigerians do not believe what is being dished out,” he added.

Ikedife however said there would be no need for the president to resign and hand over to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, if he (President Buhari) returned to Nigeria hale and hearty.

His words: “I have never heard it discussed or written in any constitution that the president of a country can never fall sick.

“So, I do not agree with those who are saying that he should resign when he comes back. I do not know why people are wishing Buhari death.

“President Buhari is not dead, to the best of my knowledge; and based on the information available to Nigerians.”

Similarly, Afenifere chieftain and elder statesman, Ayo Adebanjo recently said the presidency is not sincere about the true state of President Buhari’s health, adding that those around the president were taking Nigerians for fools.

President Buhari has been in London since January 19. The presidency had first announced that he was there for a 10-day leave. But he has since extended the leave on medical grounds.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has dismissed some rumours that it is contemplating using the ‘doctrine of necessity’ to remove President Buhari from office.

The position of the green chamber was made known by its spokesman, Honourable Abdulrazaq Namdas on Wednesday, February 22.

you too mumu

He should accept a mere human-being as his lord and saviour?
Is Muhammed not a mere human whom most Muslims would willingly kill for?

You guys should be learn to analyze for crying out loud. I don't support most comments on here but the greatest deceit rests with you guys. Imagine a situation in which you're asking me to renounce my faith just because I need to comment on a section.

Thank you! Tell that bigot.

Most of the people, especially on Nairaland, who call themselves Christians in Nigeria are nothing but religious bigots. What sets them appart from the typical Muslim fundamentalist is possession of arms- simple.
My dear, please stay mum.

I have never seen you speak against the activities of Islamic extremists on the forum. While your faith does not count, it is tad insultive to dwell on the word 'most'. We have bigots in all faith and religion but thinking you have found the perfect means to let out ignorance is jarring to the mind.

If bigotry is on the rise from the Christian side, then blame it on the ongoing Islamic agenda. There is no compulsion or persuasion in Christianity.
