What a story. The sanctity of marriage is not important than life itself. It is not wise to endure living with a fellow-human who poses a threat to one's life. He should have walked away, even in marriage when he saw the visible signs. He got married to hear but never for once had peace of mind, not until he let out his last breath. And to think he died with no one around This is perhaps what happens when a man forces the hand of a woman after being hurt. He will not only suffer the rippling effect but also cause his children to experience some of it. My heart bleeds Cc Ammyluv2002 |
midastouch:Thank you for adding this. I guess that about puts an end to the palace. |
NwamaziNwaAro:Legendary musicians take pride in describing themselves as 'kings', and their residence, their palace. 'King' Sunny Ade, 'King' Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, etc... This has nothing to do with a particular people or state. |
nairaman66:No. He used a bulk SMS service. Scammers use it a lot. It is much more convenient using a bulk SMS service then modify the sender's name to whatever you want. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't spell the area in which the 'transaction' was done. It is spelt Rumuokwurusi and not that spelling that looks like Kilishi. I don't understand why anyone would try so hard to be someone or something they're not.

Xync:All jobs are overated. The way they are painted outside is not the way you'd see it when you get in. The most important things is passion. Once you're passionate about what you do, then you would find no disappointment whatsoever. |
This is a very intelligent question. I also believe this should jolt most participants to reality. The scheme is a fraud. Chuddy or whatever he is called, the last time posted screenshots of his earnings but never screenshots of how much he paid to others. |
eyeview:Nonsense. Where were you when Namadi Sambo was asking people in the North to vote the PDP for being an Islamic Party, and that Buhari is not a core Muslim fellow for choosing a pastor as his running mate? |
Chanchit:Addressed ![]() |
ammyluv2002:I'll be here waiting for Liverpool to do their thing ![]() |
dominique:You just have to watch the video. Nigerian politicians act like they're cursed. Ajimobi addressed the student with no iota of shame and almost wanted to cause chaos by asking security operatives to bring forward a student who didn't buy into his lies. I don't blame the girl though, when a father acts without reasoning, be sure to expect the children follow in the same direction. And to think that he described himself as 'constituted authority... How did we get here? |
coolesmile:The older brother to Chidinma Okeke. ![]() |
Chanchit:Alright then ![]() |
Kfed4ril:Thanks for the correction. ![]() I'll give an instance; imagine the Hausas using Ofe Onugbo (my favourite Igbo soup ) as stew, it still does not change the fact that its origin is not Hausa. Here are some things to note;1. The ingredients used (say Ofe Onugbo, the leaves and other necessary ingredients, such as the cocoyam, which is alien to the Hausas). 2. Ties of such foods, betterstill, variations of such foods (what you use as stew is the signature soup of Deltans). Palm fruits are not alien to Igbos, for sure, but then again, it is only someone who is new to foods that would assume the Ofe akwu is not a variation to the Banga Soup of the South-South folks. |
Chanchit:I understand Yoruba language perfectly ![]() |
EmekaBlue:You really need to understand a whole lot rather than have your emotion lead you. Ever wondered why God rejected David building the temple? |
focus7:I'm not a fan of Oyedepo, but let's be sincere, the video isn't recent. It is not. |
unmask:Then your understanding, sir, is limited. |
EmekaBlue:The video was done in 2014. That was around the time the man was planning to open the gate of hell on Jonathan's enemies. He's a very temperamental fellow, no doubt, but then it is high time Christians defended themselves. I don't support killing in any way but subsequent silence would mean acceptance. |
Afam4eva:I learnt and mastered the variations of the Ewedu. You probably ate the one that wasn't prepared properly. Some folks overdo it by using blender just so they don't want to stress themselves. |
Gflat:Afang and Edikang Ikong Soup are delicacies owned by Akwa Ibom and Cross River, just as the Banga soup is native to Deltans. The perverted version called 'Ofaku' is what the Igbos prepare. We would say they are 'borrowed' soups to the Igbos. Almost every soup out there is nutritional. Picking these few foods/soups is not enough. |
According to Segun Adegbiji, the church’s head of media and public relations, Obazee, who willingly resigned as a pastor in RCCG and was “neither suspended nor sacked”, is on a vendetta mission against the general overseer. Not true... He was suspended for misconduct and he left thereafter... And yes, he was on a vendetta mission. All this has been laid to rest now. |
Remover Career Objectives from your resumé and you're good as gone. |
Ishilove: ![]() I know the capacity of my heart. It is only 2GB and I wouldn't have put it under undue stress by investing in some money doubling scheme. ![]() I'm just tired of seeing too many MMM pundits. It's tiring already. |
I'm fast beginning to see the striking similarities between Nairaland atheists and anti-MMM folks on the forum. You don't belong with them, you're wiser, more evolved and better at putting your mind to work than they would ever be, yet, you would not let them rest in peace. You analyze their stance more than they would ever know, yet, come out to say you're never interested in them or what they do. Most disturbing is the fact that most of you spend endless moments researching and concocting topics and threads/articles just to prove how foolish these participants are, but fail to see how foolish you have been for channeling your strength into what foolish people do. I don't support nor participate in the MMM scheme, just as I don't support any Ponzi scheme but we just have to let these folks be. They believe in what they believe in and I believe it is extraordinary display of maturity and wisdom when you sit and don't act like you know what is going on. |
lastpage:Sowore is one person I admire. I could remember how he troubled the Federal government in 2012, when he thwarted the Town Hall meeting with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Nigerians in Diaspora in the U.S. I knew he was strong in Lagos then but never knew his tentacles had spread. If we have a handful of him, believe me, the government would be on its toes to deliver. Most of those against him are not necessarily Igbos but those who are yet to get over the election. |
talktimi:My point exactly? Activism does not leave you, no matter how better off you become. And what gives you the impression that Fatuda had a valid case? |
talktimi:Sowore was a staunch activist while in Unilag. The Aluta spirit is never refined, regardless of how successful you are. |
BERNIMOORE:How about you post a link? |
BERNIMOORE:Interesting! So you knew this all along? ![]() |
BERNIMOORE:So you were sent ![]() Why not just type the address on Google and see what comes up ![]() |
